Yahoo Mail was configured on the BB 9520. The device was also configured with a business email account through BES server. The device was returned. I updated the firmware and reset the device. Reconfigured it with another email account. But, it still keeps getting emails from the Yahoo account. How can I stop that?

1. There is no visual voicemail build-in. Is the app through android market good enough? Does it work fine?
2. Yahoo email cannot be configured through build-in mail app. We downloaded Yahoo app and so far it works OK.
3. Facebook for Aria is not the same as for iPhone (chat is missing).
Here is my question: Did it come with the latest SW version? Is SW update (2.2 I guess) coming soon?I know some of you will say I needed to wait for Samsung phone. This phone was bought for my wife and she wanted HTC only
My I phone 4 receives e-mails but cannot send them (previously could send and receivce to hotmail and cloud) O2 said it was a fault with the phone, apple says it is not, it is technical instead so not covered under warranty, not impressed!

So my boss tossed his phone at me chewing me out because it "doesn't work". I cycle the power and ask what's wrong, his phone will display that a new email has arrived it will download and it will read but once it is read the email disappears never to be found on the phone again. The message is still usable on the computer but for the phone it's 1 and done. I checked out the email options on both the computer and the phone and there's no auto archive to a pst or anything. I really don't want to reset to default because I'm sure there's "important" stuff on the phone that will lead to working over the weekend. The phone also will display missed calls (legit missed calls) but won't show who or when the call was missed.

And if so would it be possible to switch it to No Drm from within these screens?? From searching the forums it seems that the passcode generator to access these screens has been removed so I have been unable to check this out for myself.

They flash on and off as if looking for data until the phone overheats and or completely drains the battery. I have removed applications that use the GPS or update my locations but it still happens. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the bold 9700 and about 3 days ago I stopped receiving emails on my device, however I was getting them on my inbox on my PC. Now, I am getting them but there's allot of lag time. My PC inbox gets them right away but it takes my blackberry 20 minutes after it's sent to get sometimes. I tried multiple e-mails and same thing so I know the problem is not the email server and I also have no problems with my BIS and when I send emails with my BB they're sent to the inbox immediately.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got my first blackberry 9700 2 days ago and I have some questions regarding to the push email. Actually, I have 3 email accounts and I only set up 1 email account on my blackberry.
The first problem is that :
1. The push email sometimes does not receive the email straight away, but when it does it receives 5-7 mails at once. I think push email on blackberry receives emails instantly when they arrive, doesn't it?
2. Is that a problem to use only 1 email for multiple accounts on blackberry? I mean my facebook account, MSN messenger, ebay, and other accounts. should I set my facebook account and MSN messenger to have an individual email each? So, in this case 1 email does not do a lot work on my blackberry.
3. As what it is provided on blackberry email setting. It can set different email accounts such as hotmail, yahoo, etc. I set a hotmail on my blackberry, but not @hotmail.com instead of hotmail.co.uk. Is that a problem?
and one last question is :
4. I tried to download some paid themes, but when I sent then link to my blackberry there was a link to download the theme. I just clicked on the link to download, but there was no button to download the theme. Is the country where I am at have not been supported the service? I think every country should be able to download the application. Actually I'm in Australia.
I receive some emails but not all that my home computer receives on the same email address. Why could that be?

I have a Blackberry Storm 9530, It somehow got accidentally locked up and I had to wipe everything off to open it. Now that I've got it up and working again, when I try to reply to an email or even to send a new email, I get a this message "No message services configured. You will be redirected to the Setup Wizard to setup your email account". When I go to the Setup Wizard it asks if I want to add a new email address. I only have one email address and, when I try to reinput that one, it tells me it's already in. I can't get any further than that.

I can read and open my emails and junk but when I try to compose a email its says no message services configured. You will be redirected to setup wizard to setup an email account.

I have also set up my email account from work to synch via the web exchange but not through the BES.I really want this option as I know it is the better way to be set up, we have BES set up on our work server I just need the option on my handset to do it!

Recently, my blackberry fails to sync with messages deleted in my yahoo inbox. I have to go on the device and delete the email a second time. Has anyone else had this issue or can you offer any advice to fix the issue?
I have tried waiting an hour or more to see if the blackberry will reconcile and remove the messages. Also, I go into my email and select reconcile now. These things did not work. I have not changed any of my email sync settings from when the blackberry was syncing fully. They are still set to inbox wins. Also, I even tried resending service books and deleting/reinstalling the yahoo email. None of these have worked so far!

View 1 Replies View Relatedok so here goes. as my profile states , i have an 9520 on Orange , i have BIS activated and normal data plan. for some weird reason , yahoo messenger DEDICATED APP ( the one from blackberry , or blackberry yahoo messenger how others call it) will not work. it launches , i write my user & pass , i tap on sign in and then it says "signing in as xxxxxxxxxxxx..." for a very long time after which it gives me an "Internal error" error and after i click ok on that it gives me an "Could not connect to server" error. yes , i deleted the cache , cookies , etc , yes it does work to sign in from the browser/opera and yes i did reinstall it a thousand times and yes i did asked for my service books to be resent and i replaced them.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had to replace my first Storm 2 because it was not performing as expected. I had added my Yahoo email and I could read and delete email from my Blackberry and it would show as read or delete in my online account when I logged in, as well, if I read or deleted emails online they would show as read or deleted on the Storm 2. Now I have added the same account to the new phone and I have to read and delete emails online AND on my Blackberry because the 2 way synching no longer works. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have deleted the accounts, re-added them, wiped the whole device and started over multiple times and it still doesn't work. It never worked for hotmail but if someone knows how to get it to work for hotmail that information would be appreciated too.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Storm 2 9520 and want to copy all my contacts to yahoo, I have about 550 names and numbers and have been through the synchronization procedures loads of times but each time it gets about half way through and crashes. I am using 5.0 Bundle 1611 and have tried it on Windows Vista v6 and Windows 7, but it just stops and says "Blackberry Desktop Software has stopped working" I have removed any odd symbols from the contact names just in case that was the problem but to no avail.
