I have always received emails up until yesterday.I received an email from Blackberry that my emails are not being delivered to my BB device and to go to my setup option and enter my email.Every time I enter my User name (my yahoo email address). I get a message"the user name is invalid.A user name must be at least 4 characters). My yahoo address is longer than 4 characters.
View 1 RepliesI have recently added my company email on Blackberry Torch 9800. Whenever I get any mail on my BB and I read it, while Outlook is not open on my laptop, the mail is not delivered on my laptop at all. I have already ticked the "leave a copy of messages on Server" in accounts settings.
Further, I receive mails on my BB in bunches after a gap varying from 20 mins to 1 hour after the sender has sent the mail to me. I receive from 4 - 10 mails at one single time, but not as and when they are posted. After facing these problems, I upgraded the OS to 6.0.0 bundle 2647, however the behavior has not changed.
I am having problems today with my 8520 Curve. But I was able to receive all mails with Version 5.0 OS.

I have mail that is delivered to sub-folders in my inbox but these emails do not appear on my phone but I can browse to the folders and see the emails. Is there for these emails to appear in inbox on the phone.

I received an email on my Blackberry Storm 9530 that stated emails were not being delivered to my email address, and then gave me instructions to "validate my password". I went to my email settings on My Blackberry and put in what I thought was the password, but that failed. I tried a couple of others, but those failed also. Then I went to the Blackberry Internet Service website and reset my password there, but it still did not work. I noticed when I went to "Account Details" on the Blackberry website, the password was only 10 characters long, nothing close to any passwords that I might have used. I have Verizon Wireless, but should maybe mention that my email address has been supported by AT & T U-Verse for the last few years, and one month ago I cancelled U-Verse internet and went with someone else. View 14 Replies View RelatedThis problem started today. All singular imessages are not responding in this way, so far only the group. After researching I have done the following so far and nothing is working.
1. Turn off/on the phone.
2. Checked for updates. (none)
3. Reset the factory settings.
4. Cleared and re-entered icloud name/password.
5. Turned off/on "group messaging", "mms", AND "sms" just to be sure.
6. Made sure "send/receive" has both icloud and cell number.
I just came home from an international trip and am wondering if some settings or restrictions may be limiting the group messages.

These are the problems I've been having:
- Messages are not delivered (or they are delivered hours later)
- I sometimes don't receive messages (or I receive them hours later)
- I type in blue (so I think it's an iMessage) but then when I send it turns green.
You can't imagine the consequences of this and how it affected my relation with my girlfriend !!I switched it off and I don't care to find a solution (the same with iCloud).
since a few days I have a strange iMessage problem. When I write an iMessage to someone from my iPhone it shows up as not delivered after a few seconds, but the message does arrive at the recipient. If I look on my iPad the same message looks ok, it shows the delivered/read status perfectly normal. When I switch devices, the problem exists the other way around. I get the not delivered status on my iPad but the same message shows up OK on my iPhone. The problem exists on different WiFis and on the 3G network.I already tried to "reactive" the iMessage service on my iPhone but to no avail.

i have the exact problem. I have a 9800 , and my bbm messages are not being delivered, and only stays a tick...i tried the advice mentioned above, and the problem still persists.

But email messages are not being delivered to my blackberry until I validate the new password on BlackBerry Internet Service. I cannot seem to access the BlackBerry Internet Service - on my device, under SetUp, Email Accounts, Internet Mail Account it asks for my User name and Password. I cannot find that nor can I find a way to create one - I've tried searching the BlackBerry site as well as my wireless provider (AT&T) site, but to no avail.

Issue: BBM Messages are not being delivered or received.I can type out the messages and send, but they are not delivered and I am not receiving any bbm messages. View 8 Replies View RelatedI have restored my blackberry 9900 bold backup last night and sincd then i am unable to use my yahoo account on bb, i can receive the emails but cant reply it .... when i try to reply a new window open but on blackberry menu there is no option of send.... and its only happening in Yahoo.... I can use my gmail account and Mail Xchange accounts but the problem is only with yahoo.

Yahoo Mail was configured on the BB 9520. The device was also configured with a business email account through BES server. The device was returned. I updated the firmware and reset the device. Reconfigured it with another email account. But, it still keeps getting emails from the Yahoo account. How can I stop that?

When I send an imessage through my iphone it delivers and the other person receives it, but on my phone it says "Not Delivered". When the other person sends to me, it does the same. Here is what I have done so far:
Reboot the phone Reloaded the firmware Disabled/reenabled imessage. Turned off "Time Zone Support" iMessage works fine on my iPad, doesnt work at all on my Mac.

I have been looking for the answer (and fix) for the last 3 days.I love my new bb 8530 but feel like a fish out of water as this is the first smartphone I have owned and used.I have been scouring the 'net to find out the answers to my questions before posting.I have a couple of questions:
1) Every time I get an email or SMS my screen goes black and I can't see what it is until I press the trackpad. I have no idea how to change it to where my screen does not go black.
2) How do I set my email filters to alert me to emails ONLY from my contacts on yahoo?
I entered my Mail app to check my emails and saw that my Yahoo email account had 4,294,967,099+ emails. I have reset my IPhone by holding the power and home buttons together and deleting my Yahoo account and re-adding but it still shows 4 billion emails.
