I am having trouble with some things that I havent been able to figure out by now and this is my last resort where to find answers. This issue is really bugging me. After literally spending two weeks with my service provider telephoning most time waiting in witing for a call center agent to get connected to and being each time transferred to another division to a last being transferred to the divission where I first started at speak meoving in a cricle and no one being able to help me and this whole theater every day the same for two weeks, I am turning now to the people here hoping I could find some answers
1) My provider in Switzerland is sunrise (BIS), so I went on to the website sunrise.blackberry.com and entered my existing accounts, 4 of them. Additionaly I registered a new blackberry email address to be able to use the true push service which is xx@sunrise.blackberry.com (xx being just a placeholder for my real name). The problem is though that I haven't been able to find out the mail settings I have to enter into my Mail Programm on my PC so I can access the emails on my computer. I dont know if it's a pop server, an IMAP server and not to speak of the mail settings of the server settings for incoming and outgoing email. Since it's actually a BlackBerry server I figured that the servers are BB managed (no one at Sunrise Switzerland even knew what BIS is or that you could receive PUSH mail with the Blackberry email).
2) I tried to register a new email address at https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html for a direct xx@blackberry.com email address thinking that maybe with this, it would easier to find infos about the settings. The problem here is that I have to enter my PIN (no problem) and ESN/MEID number. The Problem is that I haven't been able to find those numbers now mather how hard I tried; they are not even listed in options>status.
I can't sent mail from my apple phone 5 and iPad both. Every time I send error msg says my mail I'd is rejected by server. Though I can receive mails. why it's happening

I started using Gmail Exchange for my gmail account, its great however i lost the ability to "search emails on server" for example if "Rob" has sent me and email 2 days ago and still shows on my iPhone i can search for it, but if the email no longer sync with my iPhone and i need to hit "Search email on server" it doesnt find it, this feature was working with no problem when i was on imap, is it only me or is this feature broken on gmail exchange?

I am using a 5s and software 8.1.1
Now when i delete my emails on my phone they now delete from my Macbook and the server as well i am using a BTinternet account as i have just sighed up to their broadband. I have never kept emails on my phone and have always deleted after reading but the email as always been left on the Macbook for future reference and on the server this is really a pain i delete on the phone then thinking it's still on my Macbook as normal now its GONE.
I cannot see any setting to stop this annoying thing...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the I1 and have a work email and a gmail account, both worked fine (except the work email wouldn't let me see messages after I looked at them), then all of the sudden, the work email quit downloading. I checked with the server and it was not their fault. so I went to the online work email service and forwarded the emails to a new gmail account which I set up just for work. it worked fine for about a day and then it also stopped working. when I go into email, it just keeps searching, my battery will get hot and then I end up killing the email app.. I deleted both accounts on my phone and just reinstalled the gmail that is forwarded from the server and nothing. really is starting to bug me. both are pop accounts. I am getting my emails just fine on my work computer so I am thinking it is my phone.
