May 22, 2010my AOL email account keeps sending me emails although i have deleted the app and the service books! and the BIS thing wont work either!

Aug 25, 2010On my 9000, and I thought on my Torch as well - until today - there was a subpage in mail options called message services which permitted you to select which email account settings to modify (for example BES or BIS). Then once I selected my BES account there was an option to "send email to handheld" or not. Something I turned off every evening and back on in the morning (don't want work emails bugging me all night).BUT, now I can't find where that option is on my Torch. Very strange. I've searched everywhere, I think. Any help would be great. At minimum, will someone who has multiple email accounts (BES) check their Torch to see if the setting I refer to is there? We use O2's hosted service via Exchange OWA. The email signature's all appear fine but the main body of the emails show as above.

I scroll to forward and then it wants the email address I want to forward to. After entering the email address, no matter which key I hit, Blackberry key or scroll button, I only get two choices...."Save Draft" and "Full Menu". I then click on Full Menu and there is no option to "send."

When I do a battery pull, when the phone first comes on, it says EDGE at the top and apps such as twitter, sirius sat radio, and bb app world all work fine for about an hour. Eventually, the EDGE changes to edge (as I believe it should, since I have no data plan) and these apps stop working- well they work, but won't connect. The browser still works fine. Data services set to on, roaming off, connection=wifi preferred. Is this to be expected since I don't have data? I don't remember having this problem before I upgraded to v5...

Apr 21, 2010I have had my curve for over a year now on my Orange contract. I have just been given a new Sim Card by my company. This Sim card is with Vodafone. I got my phone unlocked and the new Sim card is working fine for everything but emails. There isnt even an option to set-up the email accounts!!
I contacted Vodafone and they said that the phone had already been registered with an email server. Which it has beacause i was using it with my other Orange contract. All they could suggest was buying a new handset!! But surely that means if anyone sells their blackberry handset, the new owner wont be able to use email, this cant be right.

Aug 10, 2010I get emails from the donotreply@blackberry.com that tell me I need to validate my Yahoo email. I've done the validation thing countless times and it NEVER accepts the password. The only way I can get it to work is go to Yahoo and set a new password on my email account. Then I need to get on my 8900 and "validate" with the password.Why do I have to change my Yahoo password to get this to work?
