BB Curve :: 8900 Won't Stop Scrolling Up

[URL] I circled the part where on the top right corner where I drew the arrow by myself. Recently my blackberry trackball been acting really weird.. everytime that arrow shows on the screen...my trackball keep going up by itself, so its making me really difficult to type especially on messenger window chat...as it keep scrolling up to the top of screen...and it keep happening until the arrows gone...then I can start to type again...but as soon as it shows again..the scrolling start again.

My curve 8520 has been fixed once already and after one month is malfunctioning again. The second i got outside the phone will not stop scrolling.

I have a BB 8900 on v.5 on Rogers (in Ontario) with no data plan. When I do a battery pull, when the phone first comes on, it says EDGE at the top and apps such as twitter, sirius sat radio, and bb app world all work fine for about an hour. Eventually, the EDGE changes to edge (as I believe it should, since I have no data plan) and these apps stop working- well they work, but won't connect. The browser still works fine. Data services set to on, roaming off, connection=wifi preferred. Is this to be expected since I don't have data? I don't remember having this problem before I upgraded to v5...

I had an 8310 and just bought an 8900 brand new off of eBay. I used the 8310's speakerphone A LOT for listening to music and loved it! I always took the back of the phone off too so that it wasn't coming through 2 little holes through the top. Is the sound quality and volume of the 8900 equal to or greater than the 8300 with its batter door off?

Just got myself a BB 8900, however it dosent seem to have any device memory, i have looked under memory in the options menu and it doesnt say anything about device memory and when i connect it to my PC i cannot find the phone on my computer unless i have a memory card pluged in,

hi. had 8900 for few months on orange uk with data plan. have been using email, internet and windows live and blackberry messenger all fine using either wi fi or mobile now all of a sudden its stop working and i cant use none. when i try to connect to internet i get a msg say this is a wi fi service please ensure your device has a wi fi connection , bb messenger wont send mgs or receive windows live jus says this service is not enabled for this handheld. ive contacted orange but they havnt helped they did say it could be a update of facebook causing problem?. have tried removing battery and restoring removed service books etc nothings fixed. can anyone help plz?

I recently purchased a blackberry 8900 and am trying to upgrade the software to the newest version (5.0 I assume). However whenever I check for updates via the blackberry site the desktop manger pops up and does not offer this upgrade. All it says it 4.6.1 (current) and the rest are downgrades, so I'm not quite sure what I need to do to get the new OS to even appear, much less download it and work.

I turned it on this morning and was checking my email, as I was scrolling down it started scrolling down on it's own super fast and just kept scrolling until it got to the bottom. I'm having trouble using the trackpad to scroll up, even in the menu, it keeps wanting to scroll down. I've tried taking the battery out and back in, I'm not sure what else to try.

Hello everyone, i have a serious problem with updating my OS. am currently using the 4.6v and i want to update it to v5.0 but every time i try to update it from desktop manager it seems that it cant find the files to update it, it just show the old version4.6 and i tried download the update from many websites and it still doesn't want to show it on the Desktop manager. And when i tried the application loader it says the i have the latest software and its still v4.6

Okay i've had the phone 4months on contract with the phone brand new, and it just randomly scrolls up when i usaully in a windy or cold area, I am not sure why it does it as i have taken care of the phone very well and still looks quite new, I have sent it off for repair but i just want to know why it has done it and will they be able to repair it

My trackpad on my 9300 is scrolling by itself, when I start scrolling on bbm, fb, menu etc. It will start scrolling down by itself when not in use. It's really bugging me and don't know how to fix it. Does anyone know how to make it stop or fix it?

i have a curve 9360 and my screen does not adjust up and down. Funny thing; i can use my trackpad and go up and down and i can click in links but they are hidden on a place in the screen. I can't see but i can click.

I have a 9360 and i have a problem that keeps happening. When i scrol down through emails the body of the message disappears and the screen changes to a check pattern. if I scroll backup the text reappears. This only seems to happen on emails - not in a browser or any other app where I scroll through content. It seemd to fix when i remove the battery and restart the device but a few days later it does it again.

I just got the new BB Curve 3G with OS6 and when I scroll to the clock, on the home screen, and enter the manage connections window from there...as I start scrolling down the blue highlight would disappear or it would complete freeze sometimes.
I've tried:
- Closing my applications.
- Battery reboot.
- Looking for an update (there is none).
- Exchanged the phone.

I am having a problem with my blackberry curve and outlook email. If I scroll through my emails as soon as I scroll over one it changes to "read" even though I haven't opened the email and read it.
I can't find a solution for this, I only want my emails to show as read once I've actually clicked to open it and read the email.

sometimes when i get a signal that i have a new email and look at my unit it has emailes form a month or a feww weeks back. i can't scroll all the way back to the current day without spending 10 minutes scrolling. what buttons do i push to swing my main email screen to present day messages?

I have the BlackBerry Curve 8900 for AT&T and I have recently noticed that there is a 5.0 Update for basically the most recent BlackBerry's that have came out and I wanted to know if I will be able to get this 5.0 Update because it looks much better then the regular Version you get when you get the BlackBerry Curve 8900.

For the last two weeks my curve is showing I have 6 unread email messages yet I have none.I searched the forum and it's not call logging as I had that turned off.Anybody have an idea what's causing this? I have double checked all my email accounts all to know avail.

I'm trying to set up a yahoo email account on a Curve 8900 running OS 4, but when I go to Setup and Email Settings, all I get is the message "Your device had a problem connecting to the server". I'm based in Ireland and have eircom broadband. My wireless router is a Netopia with WEP encryption but no authentication (Open security).
