Mar 15, 2010i'm not sure if this is possible, but i have a t-mobile blackberry 8900. i was wondering if it is possible to manage multiple (2 different) gmail accounts, and a yahoo account on it? i know you can have the e-mails forwarded to your phone, but you cannot reply to them when you have them forwarded to you. so if it is possible, how exactly do you do it?

Nov 3, 2010I have a BlackBerry Curve 8900. Off late, I am not able to open all mails on my device. Some open but many do not. I do not remember changing any settings on my device for the same. When I click the trackball to open, nothing happens and it hangs up. I use the back button then.

Mar 20, 2010i have an 8900 blackberry.i have one folder/mailbox where i get all my sms stuff. another folder/mailbox that i have for gmail where i get all my gmail mails.i have a third mailbox -which is for my office mails. however i dont have an exclusive folder for that yet. i'm sure there is an easy way to create it but i dont really know to right now i access my office mails from the "messages" folder that basically entails my gmail, sms and office messages ALL in one.how do i create an exclusive mailbox/folder for my office emails?

Jun 8, 2010When I sent emails, the sent mails show up in my BB 8900 "inbox". So, if I send an email to myself, both the mail (received) and the sent mail show up in the handheld "inbox". I could not find a set up option so that the send mail will not be listed in the inbox. Any idea? Thanks.
I have the following set up:
Messages > Option > General Options > Email Reconciliation > Delete on : Mailbox and handhel. Wireles Reconcile : On On Conflict: Handhel Wins
The delete works fine.

May 22, 2010I had an 8310 and just bought an 8900 brand new off of eBay. I used the 8310's speakerphone A LOT for listening to music and loved it! I always took the back of the phone off too so that it wasn't coming through 2 little holes through the top. Is the sound quality and volume of the 8900 equal to or greater than the 8300 with its batter door off?

My outlook email account is on my device. In other words, emails to my outlook emails address goes to both my outlook and my device.
Is it possible, if I respond to an outlook email on my blackberry for that sent response from my blackberry to be in my sent folder in my outlook. In other words, can I synchronize my device with outlook so that any responses sent on my device regarding outlook emails get reflected in my outlook. I believe you need to have BES - but I don't have that. My device is a personal one - not a corporate one without any connection to a corporate server. Is it possible without BES to do the synchronization?

Jan 20, 2010hi. had 8900 for few months on orange uk with data plan. have been using email, internet and windows live and blackberry messenger all fine using either wi fi or mobile now all of a sudden its stop working and i cant use none. when i try to connect to internet i get a msg say this is a wi fi service please ensure your device has a wi fi connection , bb messenger wont send mgs or receive windows live jus says this service is not enabled for this handheld. ive contacted orange but they havnt helped they did say it could be a update of facebook causing problem?. have tried removing battery and restoring removed service books etc nothings fixed. can anyone help plz?

Jun 29, 2010I recently purchased a blackberry 8900 and am trying to upgrade the software to the newest version (5.0 I assume). However whenever I check for updates via the blackberry site the desktop manger pops up and does not offer this upgrade. All it says it 4.6.1 (current) and the rest are downgrades, so I'm not quite sure what I need to do to get the new OS to even appear, much less download it and work.

BB 8900 (replacement just delivered...and the problem below started)
Device OS 5.0.0.411
Device Manager 5.0.1.37
Default Services: <my primary email> (I also have a second BIS email attached, but the CICAL for that one has been deleted.)
After struggling for days to get rid of the Device Default calendar (in addition to the calendar associated with my primary email and which is set as default under Default Services), I finally got my whole BB calendar on to the one calendar it should be on: the one associated with my primary email. And lo and behold, the Device Default disappeared. hallelujah, I thought.
Having cleared out the calendar using Device Manager, I then opted for a one way sync from Outlook to my new BB with its one and only calendar now, the calendar associated with my primary email and listed as the default under Default Services.....

Mar 11, 2010This week I left an employer to go to another one. I have not started with the new one yet. I have a personal BB Curve 8900 with work email and one personal email on it. This evening I got the email from the old employer IT dept that they had terminated the work email and BB BES service. Nearly simultaneously, I lost all my personal contacts (which were downloaded off my old flip phone when I got the BB, not from the employer), my personal email account, my calendar, and the memopad documents I had saved for the last 7 months. The phone also reset, removed my password, reset the ringtone, reset the bluetooth settings for my PLT510, and who knows what else. The only evidence that this was still my phone was that my pictures and .mp3s are still there. when an employer terminates blackberry service, is it possible for them to essentially wipe your blackberry clean without your knowledge or consent? If so, how can you set it so that doesn't happen again? If not, is it possible that it is just a huge, inconvenient coincidence, and my BB is experience a major technical difficulty?

I realized yesterday that when I deleted hundreds of photos from my SD card, there were 'empty' files still sitting in my photo album on my bb.. When I look in my SD card on my computer, all the files I deleted are gone.So I tried formatting my SD card to completely erase everything and start over. I formatted it on both my computer and my blackberry. But the weird files are still sitting in my photo album!Does anyone know how I can get rid of them?

Feb 25, 2010My phone does not ring or make any noises whatsoever. If someone calls, it will only vibrate. My profile is set to loud. Both in and out of holster are set to vibrate+tone. The only time I can hear sound is when the headset is in. I have tried removing the battery, but still no luck. There has not been any water damage to this phone. It was working fine for a while, and then one day it just stopped.

Jan 8, 2010I downloaded the new Bolt browser on .348 and after it installed it said to reboot so I did that. Ever since then my phone will show the Blackberry loading screen, then the red LED flashed for a few seconds and then it does it all over again. I left the battery out all night it did not help. May 30, 2010I had my phone outside with me while i was swimming. my phone didn't get wet at all and was never in the sun, and was covered by a towel. however, when i went to go pick it up, it was in the process of restarting. when it finally got to the tmobile screen, it vibrated, then turned off and restarted again. it's been doing this nonstop. i've tried taking the battery out, plugging the phone in, then putting the battery in. keeping it on the charger while it restarts. letting it die completely from it restarting so much. and leaving the battery out for a few hours before putting it back in. however, none of it has helped. I've looked at other forums and help sites, but it all says it has to do with a new os. i haven't downloaded anything on to my blackberry in months. i've seen things about using desktop manager, but my computer is broken right now, too. :/ for awhile, my memory card kept saying that it had an error and needed to fix it on desktop manager, but again, i haven't been able to use my computer.
