Files in the csv format are unable to display in my bb torch 9860, update me any application I need to install to display the csv files. I went thru documents to go (option) when browsing for the file it is not showing csv file in the media card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI received my Torch due to my work, an evaluation unit given away by RIM in my region (finally a freebie after 11 years of covering the telecom sector!). I notice that the Documents to Go section has 100s of pdfs - about service level agreements and warranties in various countries. Some are as big as 5MB, so I want to delete them. (I'm guessing there are 200 - it takes 21 swipes of my finger to scroll down to the bottom of the list)
Trouble is.. when I connect to BBerry Desktop I can't find these files anywhere! Documents to Go shows up as empty.
On the device, when I click on Docs to Go this opens up as 'all files', with a folder icon saying Browse, and all these pdfs listed below that. 'Browse' leads to the folder groupings for camera, audiobooks, docs, music, etc. and the pdfs do not appear to be inside any of those.
So my only option is to delete each pdf one by one? On the handset is there some way to 'select' bunches of them and delete all at a time? I thought maybe I could do this using Windows Explorer, but whenever I click on the Flash Drive icon that represents the Torch memory I can't get in to see what's there (it says something like 'insert the disk you wish to view with this drive')
Received my new BB torch 9860 this morning and added some contacts. But for some reason when a few of them accepted and became contacts I was (and still am) unable to view their display pictures and the same people can't see mines. I never had this problem with my old BB torch 9860 and I have tried everything I can think of to fix the issue like rebooting, taking battery out, backing up contacts etc but I'm still having the same problem. I'm using blackberry messenger version 6.0.1.32.

However I am unable to receive or send emails because it says either my password or my email address are incorrect. The email address is definately correct and the password was only set up this morning so that's correct. It's a business email, not BES or Hotmail. Is it my Blackberry password it's asking for or my email password?

Whenever I press the Power off button from the menu or the hard key, the screen goes off however the phone does not switch off, it just disconnects me from wireless networks and the phone freezes mostly. The only way I am able to turn the phone off completely is by removing the battery. I have tried holding the power off key for a long time but that is of know help.

After downloading the Blackberry App World's latest version i am not able to login to the Blackberry ID account, while my username and password is valid as i am able to log in to the website using the same ID and PW.thing is working except the telphone and enterprise email, i am not able to setup my yahoo email or gmail accounts, coz everytime its leading to the verify Blackberry ID screen and when i key in it says " Unable to login to your Blackberry ID account" its not telling wrong password, there must be something i am missing during the setup process.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have just recieved my new 9860 and have a recurring problem throughout the phone. The easiest example is when you use apps like facebook for the first time, you see a terms and conditions pop up. At the bottom of this popup is a small blue arrow to indicate there is more to read if you scroll down. I can't scroll down... the cursor just goes off screen.
This problem is persistant throughout the phone in the blackberry side menu, the home page and on web pages. Basically I cannot scroll anything that requires scrolling to view more. The cursor just dissappears off the screen.
I have tried removing the battery (whilst turned on) to no avail. I have tried adjusting fonts (another list that will not scroll) and Orange tech support were unable to help.
i have recently bought a 9860 although i have regestered and sbscribet to bb servs i can not settup my e mail account the only i get when goto setup email is to activate an enterprice account ... have spoke to orange (absolute useless) thay say thay cant assist as blackberry problem cant get any assistance from blackberry.

My Blackberry rebooted (to delete an app) and now all the files on the media card aren't available through the media shortcuts.I was able to get the music files to appear by using "Explore", finding each file and opening each song individually.Only then did they appear in my player.I am unable to get my pictures to display.I can see them when I "explore" but not through the pictures shortcut.Why isn't my device set up to read media files automatically from the media card?
