I was able to see my media files (Pictures, Songs & Videos) from my phone but when I synchronized my phone with my PC I am unable to see these files. Also I am unable to see all the folders that i had created in my phone. But when I connect my phone i can browse these files through my PC.
View 9 Repliesi had a virus in my computer and thus i had to Format it. During this i lost all the data of Syncs and Apps and stuff. When i click on the "Sync Apps" in my iPhone Tab. The Preview on the right changes from my apps to No Apps except for bookmarks. What i want to do is keep all the Apps as they are currently and want to get all the Apps which i have bought during the purchase of my iPhone on the list on the left, as my Apple Account records what i buy, i should some how get the apps back on the list which should include me downloading them again.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just recently upgraded the desktop software to the new version 6.0.0.40 and I can't seem to sync my organizer data anymore I've tried resetting my settings and then I tried hitting configure settings and I keep getting an error. The exact error that pops up reads "Unknown error reported".I know the BB is connected because all my media music/pictures/videos are appearing on the desktop software.

Desktop synchronization for the above application(s) will be disabled.
I've opened the device and disabled wireless synch from Contacts -> Options -> Desktop -> Wireless synch -> check off, still nothing happens ? I've logged off and on the computer what else should I do ? Switch off device and reboot ? Remove battery on device and re book ? I also use my enterprise mail on this devise so I can_not_ delete all desktop entries from advance options?
so this morning I plugged my phone into the computer and got a prompt do you want update your Desktop Software so I did. Now it has frozen when synchronizing, I left it running and after about 20mintues it came up with a conflict problem. I have checked everything that's being synchronized; now I am getting the following error message Synchronization Error "An error has occurred during an attempt to update a device database record."Even how can I get an earlier version of the software which I know that works?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI received my Torch due to my work, an evaluation unit given away by RIM in my region (finally a freebie after 11 years of covering the telecom sector!). I notice that the Documents to Go section has 100s of pdfs - about service level agreements and warranties in various countries. Some are as big as 5MB, so I want to delete them. (I'm guessing there are 200 - it takes 21 swipes of my finger to scroll down to the bottom of the list)
Trouble is.. when I connect to BBerry Desktop I can't find these files anywhere! Documents to Go shows up as empty.
On the device, when I click on Docs to Go this opens up as 'all files', with a folder icon saying Browse, and all these pdfs listed below that. 'Browse' leads to the folder groupings for camera, audiobooks, docs, music, etc. and the pdfs do not appear to be inside any of those.
So my only option is to delete each pdf one by one? On the handset is there some way to 'select' bunches of them and delete all at a time? I thought maybe I could do this using Windows Explorer, but whenever I click on the Flash Drive icon that represents the Torch memory I can't get in to see what's there (it says something like 'insert the disk you wish to view with this drive')
Files in the csv format are unable to display in my bb torch 9860, update me any application I need to install to display the csv files. I went thru documents to go (option) when browsing for the file it is not showing csv file in the media card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm probably the author of my own misfortune here, but I loaded a GPX file with about 4000 waypoints onto my 5230 a few days ago. I got fed up after a while as it made ovimaps run like a complete dog, so I used the "location" app to select all and delete. However, it seems in the meanwhile that it had synchronized all of the landmarks to my ovi.com account. After I did this I noticed I was getting "Download error" every time I opened ovimaps, and I realized that it must be having some problems with synchronizing the phone with ovi.com (its set to do this on startup and closedown).
I viewed the maps there today and could see them, and then spent about 30 minutes deleting each of them manually. Online there are now no landmarks, and there are none on my phone either. However, I cannot now seem to sync ovi.com with my phone (using the menu option under "favorites" in ovimaps 3.04 on the phone).Message I get is "Synchronization incomplete” Is there any way to re-initialize the synchronization? I've tried removing the account from the phone but that didn't seem to work.
i have a bold 9700 running version 6 - At work i have outlook (it is not a stand alone pc, it is on a network with a server) - i have no problem syncing via a cable but i want to be able to sync wirelessly so any changes i make on outlook calendar or contacts automatically appear on my BB bold and vice versa, no wires.

My BB was synching fine with my desktop and mysteriously stopped. Now after it asks for the password (to my BB) it just sits and spins. The BB shows the computer and BB icons and nothing happens. When I try to exit the program the 'Exiting Blackberry Desktop Software box pops up and it just spins ( when i say spin i refer to the little green circle icon).
