i have a bold 9700 running version 6 - At work i have outlook (it is not a stand alone pc, it is on a network with a server) - i have no problem syncing via a cable but i want to be able to sync wirelessly so any changes i make on outlook calendar or contacts automatically appear on my BB bold and vice versa, no wires.

In between I added the Facebook application as well. FB contacts are syncing.Another thing, inside the options for my gmail contact list the Wireless Synchronization option is marked -"Not Available" and cannot be changed.I want to synchronize my contacts on BB with those on Gmail.

My BB is receiving the Yahoo mails but if I delete an email on the BB it still appears in my Yahoo email inbox.Is there full synchronization between BB and Yahoo mail or have I made an error in the set-up? If Yahoo cannot synchronize will using Googlemail enable me to synchronize emails?

The exact error that pops up reads "Unknown error reported".I know the BB is connected because all my media music/pictures/videos are appearing on the desktop software.

However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?

I've had my BB 9700 for just over a month now, without having any issues whatsoever with the handset, my 9700 refuses to connect to my wireless home network, it finds the network, acquires an IP address, a displays the signal strength and connection speed , but looking at the Wi-Fi diagnostics on the BB there seems to be a problem with the Infrastructure, it attempts to connect and continuously fails.
I am using a Netgear DG934GT Router, running Firmware 1.03.23, all my other wireless devices (laptop, iPod Touch and PS3) connect fine to the wireless network, I have tried restarting the BlackBerry, and the router, this doesn't seem to solve the problem, I've also removed and re-added the wireless network to my BlackBerry, this has not solved my problem either. I am on T-Mobile and the BB is not unlocked or anything of that nature.
I have my cell service through T-Mobile and recently upgraded to a Bold 9700 with internet service. I can browse the internet over the 3G network and at a Hot Spot location using the Wi-Fi. What I can't do is access the internet through my wireless router at home. The Netgear router (WPN824 v3) works fine through the cable modem for laptops and my daughter's Motorola Click smartphone. When I turn off the 3G network, I get a "can't find the server message".

I tried a battery pull, I left the battery out for about 2 or 3 minutes. The phone itself is not frozen. It keeps pulling up the icon that lets you know it is TRYING to work, but no progress is being made. This being my third attempt at getting it to work by using a battery pull, It is stuck at 1% and has been trying to complete the update for 28 minutes.

The BB Bold icon does not appear on the top after connecting but the signal strength Icon comes up with no problem. View 2 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
What is the easiest way to tether my berry to my laptop? I am a small business owner, and I often do work late at night in my truck, with no access to WiFi. I remember a long time ago seeing a thread on it, but I recall it being slightly complicated/using commant prompt.

I called TMO several times and they have issued several work tickets, all coming back saying there was a problem with the towers but has been resolved. I am still experiencing the same problem.
I was informed that I could get a wireless router for my home so I would get great signal. i would just have to hook it up to my computer and then whenever I am home, my phone will go through that for signal, hence giving me 5 bars as opposed to the 1 bar and constant switching between 3g, edge and gprs.
I guess I really don't understand how that works, what kind of router to by and if I will be charged anything extra from TMO for using that.
