I have just recieved a replacement and successfully completed all necessary transfers except for one thing. I cannot synchronise Outlook calendar or tasks properly. I am asked to go to the device, go to options, and turn off wireless snc. Problem is, there the options menu does not have a box for wireless sync.

When I try to open any application use the internet like WhatsApp or App World it don't connect and give message to connect to wireless (I already connected) but the default browser is working well and I can open a lot of sites.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to push my outlook 2010 contacts to my BES enabled Torch 9810 on AT&T running 7.0 Bundle 1355(v7.0.0.261 Platform 5.0.0.469).When I go into Desktop Manager 6.1.0.35 it says my calendar and Address book are syncing wirelessly. Nothing I've tried gets Desktop Manager to recognize that I've turned off wireless synchronization.
I've tried going to Messages->Menu->Options->Email Reconciliation and clearing the Wireless Reconcile checkbox. I do the same thing in Desktop->Menu->Options->Email Reconciliation and clearing the Wireless Reconcile checkbox.Other posts on the internet talk about going into the contacts application, going to options and shutting off wireless synchronization, however I think this is for other devices. There is nothing in there about wireless synchronization.
A few weeks ago there was a software update to BlackBerry Desktop which now precludes me from synching the new Contacts from my Outlook on computer to the device (Torch9810).
I have tried unsuccessfully to turn off wireless snchronization but this device doesn't have that option. I went to Contacts --> Options --> Synchronization but the only alternative there is to uncheck AT&T Address Book Automatic Synchronization.
It doesn't import new Contacts either way (checked or not). Used to before the software update I relunctantly downloaded. But not now.
Cureve 8520 I am tring to turn the wireless sync option under calendar properties from NO to YES, but the option os grayed out,I went to the calendar> clincked on Menue > Options> selected my calendar> and the wireless Sync in NO and grayed out?
View 9 Replies View Relatedi cant turn on my 9780, had a black screen and basically was off..only red LED flashes. tried a few tips from this forum but it doesnt work..1. pulled off and reinserting the batt, 2. connect to pc but failed to detect the device,it says "windows unable to installed the driver"..then i tried to connect with desktop manager to update os, but error occurs when it try to connect with the device.3. then i decided to uninstalled bb desktop manager, after restart, i connect the usb again, the windows detected the hardware n successfully installed the driver..but i didnt reinstall the desktop manager yet. im afraid if i did a wrong step which might accidently loose all the media data..is it my os probs or i need to replace the batt?

Slowly, my phone gave in and switched off.For the past 5 days, I took out the battery and packed my phone and the battery separately in a zip pouch to avoid any chances of moisture intervention. My phone worked properly for one full day yesterday and now its irritating again.

I tried charging it overnight and still nothing, I have also tried another fully charged battery and that won't work. My Desktop manager software doesn't detect it. Just before it died I had actually transferred all of the data onto a new blackberry and the software said I could now wipe my device but I didn't bother yet.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have updated my software yesteerday as instructed through Blackberry,howvere now it wont turn on. It turns on so that the blackberry logo shows up with the loading bar loading underneath then about 3/4 of the way through it blanks the screen and starts again.
I have tried taking the battery out when it is running, I have also tried leaving the battery out and it still isnt working.
I plan to back up all my contacts with google sync but I just notice that I use 3 emails to back up my contacts. the main problem is 1 email that I use is company's email which i have resigned so.. it's about time, they deactivate my email & i can lose all my contacts.
1. that email always show "not available" on wireless sync on the contact list properties. while my Gmail email has option yes/no wireless sync.
2. also it doesn't show on the SYNC contact list on default services
3. how I can merge all my backup emails, to be just 1 email for backup data?
I am trying to sync my calendar and contacts with Microsoft Outlook. I go through the sync process and when I say okay it get the message "Microsoft Outlook is not installed on this system". Why is it not recognizing my Outlook program?

I have set up the BB to handle work emails and these work and synch fine between the BB and my outlook on my laptop.But calendar synching is not working at all.... BB help tells me to go to the organizer app (eg calendar) press menu key > options > select the Wireless Synchronization check box.However, this check box just doesnt exist.

I drained my battery and plugged it in. Every time I put the battery back in or plug it in, the red light stays on for about 10-20 seconds and then the charging symbol comes up on the screen, but it won't power on.Also, when I plug into computer it recognizes that a device is connected but I cant update software through the Blackberry desktop software.
