I backed up my handset yesterday on BB desktop software. Handed in my BB to get my replacement. I now cannot access the backed up contacts of my initial BB. I thought I would be able to synch them over, but my new phone part is being processed as a new device. How do I sync over the contacts? I cant even find them?!

They are saved in my documents folder although when I try to open the file I receive an error message saying I don't have an app to open file. When I try to find an application to open the doc file such as Word I get another message saying the file is corrupt and can not be opened. View 2 Replies View RelatedI connected my Bold9780 to my PC and I was told there was a device upgrade and that it would take some time. I set it off and my computer crashed (power cut). At first all seemed ok, the upgrade seems to have been successfully installed. However I cannot send or receive emails now. I have tried to reconcile and nothing at all happens. If I try to access my email via settings I just get a message saying "Your device has a problem connecting to the internet" and I'm offered RETRY or CANCEL I've retried loads of times without success. The phone and texting work fine but I cannot access any apps either as it just says "server can not be found"

View 1 Replies View RelatedBack again with more probelms, i seem to have taken a step back by installing Ovi maps and now get the error 2148532241 reported when trying to sync.Using vista home edition and the latest version of PC suite.I had problems with Ovi suite so only installed it for the maps then uninstalled to revert back to the PC suite which previously was working sort of ok.I can still access contacts and meesages no problem but no sync - any ideas?as much as i love the phone E72 it's going back if this is an indication of things to come.
