Oct 20, 2011
I am unable to get synching going in either direction between my new Bold 9780 and my work MS exchange account on Outlook. I have set up the BB to handle work emails and these work and synch fine between the BB and my outlook on my laptop. But calendar synching is not working at all.... BB help tells me to go to the organizer app (eg calendar) press menu key > options > select the Wireless Synchronization check box. However, this check box just doesnt exist.
I used to be able to sync my photos to my PC using Blackberry Desktop. After downloading the updates to the software, I am now unable to sync media (i.e. I get a message saying "Media Options not available") so my photos have been accumulating on my phone. Also, I cannot seem to configure my organizer (i.e. calendar, tasks, contacts) to my Yahoo email - the only option is Outlook, but again, I used to be able to do this and cannot do so anymore.
I have a curve 9300 and running BD v 6.0.1. I can backup data so assume software and phone are talking but whenever I sync or try and change the organiser settings which are currently all unchecked I get an error message 'unknown error reported'.
I upgraded my device softward to the latest version [6.0.0.522]. Now, I get "unknown error" every time i try to configure the organizer data synch. I am on windows vista sp2. it was working fine before the software upgrade. I have restarted my computer and the phone..
I am trying to sync my Torch 9850 organizer data with my computer via WiFi. I have read the instructions but under the Options I do not have an option for turning on WiFi Sync.
My BB Bold 9780 cannot sync with my laptop. Everytime I press configure setting to set the item i want to sync, it give an error message "error encountered. error code - 0x80043ade. check documentation"..So I can configure address book to sync and therefore until now I can't sync my address book.
Since the time i have downloaded OS7 desktop software i am unable to sync contacts on pc with phone.Whenever i start desktop BB software (previously it use to automatically start sync) it does not sync and gives error 140.It gives message contact support and send log file.Whom to send this file and from where to get this file.
I am trying to sync my calendar and contacts with Microsoft Outlook. I go through the sync process and when I say okay it get the message "Microsoft Outlook is not installed on this system". Why is it not recognizing my Outlook program?
I have just recieved a replacement and successfully completed all necessary transfers except for one thing. I cannot synchronise Outlook calendar or tasks properly. I am asked to go to the device, go to options, and turn off wireless snc. Problem is, there the options menu does not have a box for wireless sync.
I've been having some issues with the phone, some of which I can see from the forum have been affecting other users (digitizer, etc). However, in an attempt to fix the non-responsive screen I re-booted the device to factory settings (advice from EE) and restored the data from off the PC. However, it now seems to sync with my gmail account in preference to my Hotmail and as a result has duplicated all of my contacts. Where do I go to in the BB menus to change the setting back to Hotmail for the sync of organizer and mail?
Is it possible to sync wirelessly but not so often? At this current rate, it drains my battery in a day. I would like for my phone to sync wirelessly but perhaps only every 2-3 hours or even longer if possible.
I backed up my handset yesterday on BB desktop software. Handed in my BB to get my replacement. I now cannot access the backed up contacts of my initial BB. I thought I would be able to synch them over, but my new phone part is being processed as a new device. How do I sync over the contacts? I cant even find them?!
Microsoft outlook contacts do not sync with the device 9780 when i use the organizer in the BB desktop manager. In the organiser the task, calendar and memos sync have ticked check box but for Contact it is not highled and ne check box?
I just started syncing my iPhone 4s to iTunes with no wire over my wireless home network, and it is very nice. Now how do I get my new photos from my camera roll to iPhoto wirelessly so that they too can be synced wirelessly? I prefer not to use iCloud.
I have changed email address recently and am now using a hotmail account and a googlemail account. I also use a yahoo account and an Orange account. They all are on my Outlook. Since I changed email account, I can no longer synchronize my organiser (calendar etc) between my phone and my outlook on my computer.
i recently went into facebook on my bbb i have not done this before and afterwards noticed my organizer/calendar appointments all had green lines beside them and when i whent to sync my phone to update my appointments it said my default had changed to facebook, and if i wanted to go back to the original then it said cancel 56 appointments. i do not want to lose this info and am not sure what to do. i also tried to back up my phone which i do not know how to do well to save this info but cannot see any of my appointments on my desktop computer
I upgraded to new Desktop Manager - 6.47 and now I can't sych my organizer data.I always get a message that wireless sychronization is in place but when I check this is not true. There are not even options to synchronize - memo pad, contacts, and tasks on my device.I even shut off all wireless services and still no change. Can't get satisfaction for Blackberry so called support.
I just recently upgraded the desktop software to the new version 6.0.0.40 and I can't seem to sync my organizer data anymore I've tried resetting my settings and then I tried hitting configure settings and I keep getting an error. The exact error that pops up reads "Unknown error reported".I know the BB is connected because all my media music/pictures/videos are appearing on the desktop software.
My BB calendar sync over wireless stopped working, and I can't figure out how to get it back.I use BES and have V6 of the Desktop software installed with Outlook 2007 on my Windows XP laptop. When I now connect to the Desktop software, and go under "Organizer", I have 3 of 4 apps that say "syncing wirelessly" (MemoPad, Address Book, Tasks) but Calendar is ticked and shows "Microsoft Outlook". I have tried unchecking the box, but cannot figure out how to get it back to syncing wirelessly. an't find a setting on the BB to change it either.I can only sync it via Desktop software (which I now do at least daily, a big pain ...)All other apps are syncing wirelessly just fine: mail, contacts, etc.
I am trying to wirelessly sync from Blackberry Calender to Yahoo calander. I am able to bring up yahoo calender and when I go to options, the 'wirelesss synchronization' is set to 'No'. I can't seem to change that. Does anyone know if there is any other way/option that needs to be enabled? I can sync via Desktop Manager with yahoo, but need a way to sync wirelessly. Apparently Yahoo Go service provided that option but is no longer supported.
sync my Outlook Calender with my Torch wirelessly. I set up my Outlook Exchange E-mail successfully (though it would be nice if I could move e-mails to Outlook folders as well).
How do I sync Torch Calendar with my Outlook Calendar wirelessly?
I used Apps Organizer to create folders of related apps (like Games, Japanese, etc) to go on to my home screen. I rather like it. Just one irritation, to which I wonder if anyone has a solution. If I switch the phone off for any reason, when I switch it back on, the folders are all still on the home screen, with the icon I have attributed to the folder, but the names all change to 'Apps label'.
When I try to configure settings for organizer into blackberry desktop software, send me a box the intellisync with unknown error reported, and can not do nothing.
I have just upgraded my PC from Win XP to Win 7 and am looking for a compatible organizer software for my Curve 8520. In the past I have used Outlook but wonder if there are other applications (possible free ones) which would do the job. I need address book and calendar.
