I have a Blackberry 9780 Bold mobile from which I could get access to the internet but after lending it to my son, regretably I can no loger access the internet and I need a bit of assistance, perhaps by a download direct to my phone?
from yesterday i have a blackbberry 9780 with orange bb data plan. i disable the data services from my provider and i try to connect to internet via wi-fi and doesnt work, it say's "data services are disabled. go to mobile network to enable." i tryed on 2 different wi-fi routers. when i browse internet with 2g/3g newtork it works fine.
I recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v188.8.131.524 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."
Last week I had to replace the hardrive on my PC. I reinstalled Blackberry Desktop. Since that time my Blackberry will not retain emails for more than a couple of hours even though it is set to retain for 30 days. I am wondering if this is something in the Desktop Software.
All was fine with my BB before I switched to an iPhone 2 weeks ago, then back to my same BB Bold 9780 unlocked. All was find before the regretfull move. For some reason now, I cannot access, send, or receive e-mails even though I've added my e-mails on my BB account via laptop.ve contacted my carrrier AT&T for 3 hours on the phone trying to figure out the problem. I registered the device, they send "service books" if that's what they're called, NO SOLUTION.1)Setup2)Email Accounts3)Internet Mail Account (Set up or manage an existing email account, or create a new Blackberry email account)4) "Checking for update...Connecting to email server...Your Blackberry Internet Service account is suspended or deactivated.Contact your wireless carrier" OVER AND OVER no matter who I speak to or what they do. I even wiped the phone. One representative suggested I download service books from a 3rd party or something over the internet
I connected my Bold9780 to my PC and I was told there was a device upgrade and that it would take some time. I set it off and my computer crashed (power cut). At first all seemed ok, the upgrade seems to have been successfully installed. However I cannot send or receive emails now. I have tried to reconcile and nothing at all happens. If I try to access my email via settings I just get a message saying "Your device has a problem connecting to the internet" and I'm offered RETRY or CANCEL I've retried loads of times without success. The phone and texting work fine but I cannot access any apps either as it just says "server can not be found"
I backed up my handset yesterday on BB desktop software. Handed in my BB to get my replacement. I now cannot access the backed up contacts of my initial BB. I thought I would be able to synch them over, but my new phone part is being processed as a new device. How do I sync over the contacts? I cant even find them?!
I have just received a new bold 9780 and it is only set up for enterprise email and despite repeated calls tom my handset provider we cant seem to get it to allow me to set up my normanl internet email accounts?
I've just got my 1st BB 9300. Data Services is turned off, wifi recognised (in Manage Connections my network is ticked and network name displayed in home menu. However cannot browse internet at all. When Data Services is on browser works fine. But I don't want the charges, of course. As suggested by a post, I tried changing my router to WPA2-SPK but this has not worked.
I have a strange issue with my xperia pro.Since a week back i am not able to access the internet through wifi across all apps except for the Good email application!Xperia pro is not the issues since I am able to access my emails via Good all the time.My router cannot be the issue since on all other devices (ipad, iphine, pc, laptop) i have full connectivity (both Good and all other apps).
Now comes the strangest part:I switched to my neighbors router and lo and behlod everything works on my Xperia pro.I have no clue where to pinpoint the problem.
im having a problem browsing the net when im using wi fi, when im coinnected to wi fi it wouold how a yellown liune and says that it is connected to wi fi but when i try to browse through the browse it wont load the page, i have already set te browser option to hotspot browser, i tried wap but none of the worked
I was able to use Internet Mail accounts, before installing BES (by accident) on my BlackBerry Bold 9780 v6.0.After performing a factory reset and wiping my BB, (to get rid of BES), email is not working anymore. When going to Setup --> Email account --> Internet Mail account --> I can not Activate the email accounts (activate button is greyed out), nor can I remove them.
It only has enterprise server as an option.how on earth can I set up internet email on this phone?!YES I have set up the blackberry service already, and its been over the 2 hours they said I have to wait.5 phone calls later, T Mobile has not been able to help me whatsoever.
When my Blackberry curve 9320 is connected to either my BT home hub wifi or a wifi hotspot, I cannot access the internet because I get the following message:Communication failure if this problem persisits contact your service provider.
