A few weeks ago there was a software update to BlackBerry Desktop which now precludes me from synching the new Contacts from my Outlook on computer to the device (Torch9810).
I have tried unsuccessfully to turn off wireless snchronization but this device doesn't have that option. I went to Contacts --> Options --> Synchronization but the only alternative there is to uncheck AT&T Address Book Automatic Synchronization.
It doesn't import new Contacts either way (checked or not). Used to before the software update I relunctantly downloaded. But not now.
I want to push my outlook 2010 contacts to my BES enabled Torch 9810 on AT&T running 7.0 Bundle 1355(v22.214.171.1241 Platform 126.96.36.1999).When I go into Desktop Manager 188.8.131.52 it says my calendar and Address book are syncing wirelessly. Nothing I've tried gets Desktop Manager to recognize that I've turned off wireless synchronization.
I've tried going to Messages->Menu->Options->Email Reconciliation and clearing the Wireless Reconcile checkbox. I do the same thing in Desktop->Menu->Options->Email Reconciliation and clearing the Wireless Reconcile checkbox.Other posts on the internet talk about going into the contacts application, going to options and shutting off wireless synchronization, however I think this is for other devices. There is nothing in there about wireless synchronization.
I have just recieved a replacement and successfully completed all necessary transfers except for one thing. I cannot synchronise Outlook calendar or tasks properly. I am asked to go to the device, go to options, and turn off wireless snc. Problem is, there the options menu does not have a box for wireless sync.

My blackberry sprint curve 8330 is paired with blue tooth on our apple imac. I can transfer address book. I can not sync my calendar. I go to calendar i am using and press menu, but it won't let me turn on wireless sync? It only gives me the option of NO. What do I do now?
I needed to setup a secondary email addy with RogersWireless yesterday and while I was there I got the bright idea to change my password for my primary account. This totally screwed my BB (no more email being received) sent me an email saying I needed to verify my password.tried to go into Setup to access my email settings..my BB freezes and I have to shut it down and re-start.Next bright idea...go to Messages Options then try to access email settings that way...message comes up and says "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider."Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy spending an afternoon chatting with Rogers but is there anyway to fix this without having to waste an afternoon?

The only way I am able to turn the phone off completely is by removing the battery. I have tried holding the power off key for a long time but that is of know help.
I am trying to sync my Torch via the usb cable with my Outlook calender. I have set it all up ok, apart from the desktop software is unable to sync until I turn off the "wireless sync". I am new to Blackberry, the proud owner of a Torch 9810. I love a lot of things about it except e-mail handling.I am having to manually delete mails already deleted from my laptop. My Torch is not reconciling my Gmail automatically; in fact, when I go to the BB menu in e-mail to manually reconcile by selecting that command, it still doesn't work. The above wouldn't bother me quite so badly if I didn't have to delete them (again) one at a time. I'm sure there must be a way to select multiple e-mails from my Inbox to delete en masse, but I haven't hit upon it yet.
My Boss has 2 Blackberry phones , one is Blackberry torchand another one is Blackberry Bold 9000.Blackberry Torch is synced to company Blackberry server. The Blackberry Bold is not synced with the Blackberry server but has about 1000 contacts (200 in 1st contact folder and 800 and in the 2nd).when I check the contacts options I see 2 contact folders both named "Desktop". My Boss wants me to merge all these 1000 contacts with the contacts on his Blackberry Torch. When I plug the iphone into the mains charger (not connected via USB to the Mac) the sync over wireless does not start. If I go into settings - general - itunes wifi sync on the iphone and chosse to manually start the sync, the sync works fine. But it just will not start automatically when I plus the iphone into the charger,I was under the impression t was supposed to start automatically?

When I used to sync my iPhone 4s by plugging in the wire connected to my iMac, the sync would first start with a back-up. Now that I have changed to wireless sync, it doesn't back up. Is there a back-up setting for wireless syncing that I missed? How do I get it to back-up with wireless syncing?
