BB Torch :: Computer Cannot Detect 9800
Sep 24, 2011I am running windows 7 and no noise nor does my device manager detect my phone when connnect. Neither does the Blackbery device software. All are up to date. I am at a loss. I am not using a hub and i have tried several usb ports on my laptop now. Nothing.
I have downloaded the desktop software for BB twice and reinstalled. No luck. I am unable to find where to enable mass storage under options. There is only a option for media card but nothing regarding Mass Storage.

Apr 15, 2010Am using a Bold 9700 os v5.0.0.344 with DM v5.0.1.18 (Aug 21, 2009) on my notebook running vista 32bit When I click on the IP icon on the DM, I get this error message below: "Unable to detect configured Blackberry IP modem device. Please verify your desktop installation is configured correctly and restart the desktop." Tried installing and uninstalling many many times but to no avail. Can anyone out there shed some light?

Mar 10, 2010You've probably all been asked this loads and I've read some forums posts and tried software but ive not been able to find a solution or answer.Basically Ive just got myself a Storm2 and was told by my provider that I could sync my emails from outlook to my device and back like a windows mobile device. As ive found out this isnt the case, I really like the phone and dont want to hand it back over to swap for another device but if I dont find a solution then I wont have a choice.My question is, is there any software available that will sync my device to my computer the same as a WM device does through activesync?I have tried Astrasync and Notifysync both which throw errors up and dont work

It pretty clear that its my phone that has an issue rather than my computer. Also, i was using a rather loose usb cable and it frequently detaches itself from the phone with slight movement. No computer in my home will detect my BB Curve 8330.
I have a Mac and a PC. I have tried both Desktop managers. My g/f has the exact phone and both computers and desktop managers will detect her phone. I have tried all posted solutions (clearing cache. hard reset, checked the mass storage device). Rebooted both computers. The one thing that my USB cable will do on my Mac is charge my phone. There is no "Do you want to enable mass storage... " when I plug it in to the Mac USB.

My device had been synched with this account until this morning when I did a restore from a date prior to having set up the gmail account. Feb 11, 2010Since downloading the new Nokia Messaging client 10.2.0.4 (Main) on my N97 Mini (11.0.045) it refuses to sync with my gmail account (it worked prior to downloading the new client via Software update on the phone).
I've tried changing the "When to Sync" setting to soonest or 15 mins etc but that makes no difference.If I change the access point it will open a connection (which it wont have done until this point) but still no sync. It never seems to close the connection, unless the phone is rebooted.Anyone have the new messaging client working ?
