BB Bold :: 9000 - Unable To Sync Calendar With Outlook 2010 Calendar
Sep 15, 2011Recently I have been unable to sync my Blackberry calendar with my Outlook 2010 calendar. I am getting a message "calendar not installed" when I synch my organizer files. My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.

Jul 9, 2010Running Vista and using Outlook 97. Used to only be able to sync tasks and memos. Problem in syncing contacts was described in error message that adress book was configured to sync wirelessly. After making sure I'd changed the settings still had problem. The problem with the address book and task non-sync seems to have been fixed after upgrade to newest BB Desktop. However, my device calendar still does not sync with my Outlook.

May 9, 2011I recently upgraded my OS from Vista to Windows 7. Concurrently, Yahoo changed to a "new and improved" calenda. I don't know if any of those changes caused the problem.The first time I attempted to sync the calendar following the above changes I received an Intellisync message "Connection to Yahoo server lost". I seem to recall that this occurred once before on another Blackberry model that I owned but can't recall how I resolved it.

Nov 8, 2012I have a blackberry bold 9790.I am unable to sync my mobile calendar with my laptop calendar - the response I get to trying to configure the organizer on BB desktop software is "organizer not supported" and a referral to some release notes. Those notes don't solve my problem. Am I missing a step, or is there a type of calendar that works with Blackberry?

Dec 3, 2012The calendar is not syncing wireless with outlook 2010 calendar, I followed the instructions manual, but the option menu in calendar does not show any wireless sync option (tickmark)!
the only options are showing only the following:
- Calendar Display
- Conference calling
- Date & Time
- Accounts:
*email account1
*email account2
*email account3
#Appointment color
#display reminder
#number of entries
the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.

Sep 2, 2010So a little background about the way I have my calendar set up. I have multiple email address set up on my BB, and then use the BB calendar to keep all of these different calendars in one spot. It also allows me to have a color coded system in my calendar (work is one color, personal is one, etc), see the picture.
This is probably the place where I'm different than others, I started keeping my calendar up to date on the BB before setting up my outlook calendar, yahoo calendar, or either of my google calendars. Is there a way to sync from the phone to the other calendars without ending up deleting my BB calendar inputs or ending up with duplicates or ending up with all of the events under one calendar.
I would like to sync my work one with Thunderbird/Lightening, my personal gmail calendar with gmail, my other side project gmail calendar with gmail account2 and my yahoo calendar with yahoo.

Apr 21, 2010Desktop mgr 5.0.1.37.When I connect (via USB) the connection appears to be recognised - clock appears on BB and PC beeps. After a few minutes PC & BB icons appear on BB screen but no interconnecting arrows. When I try to sync there is no device and PIN number showing on Device Mgr so it doesn't sync. Then the Desktop Mgr greys out and appears to freeze - I then have to disconnect the BB to unfreeze.
Device manager shows two RIM virtual serial ports v2 Com 3 & Com 4. If I try to update the drivers it says most up to date are loaded although the drivers are dated 24 Nov 2008 and are version 2.2.0.3 and appear to be called RimSerial_AMD64.sys (I'm using Intel i7 processor).
Devices & Printers screen shows a RIM Composite Device icon.
Windows in Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I tried sync with outlook but I get this error : Unable to copy calendar items from your device. Contacts are syncing fine but not calendar items.
I have enabled the option for Finding USB errors ( which I don't now what is doing :P) Is there any way to correct this error ?

Sep 30, 2011I recently added my personal email to my blackberry. It is a @gmail.com address. My calendar also synced with the Google calendar, which I did not want it to do. I normally sync my calendar with Outlook on my desktop. I went to sync with Outlook today and none of my calendar entries are syncing. If on look on my device all of the entries are marked as being xxx@gmail.com entries. How can I change all of these entries back to sync with Outlook instead?

Apr 7, 2011I'm having issued with synchronizing my outlook with my bb. I have multiple calendars.
In my bb, I made sure to default my calendar to the one I want. However, when I sync, the default calendar doesn't pick it up, it goes to another one. It used to work but now it doesn't anymore and I can't figure out why. I have double checked my default calendar and it's to the one I want.
Also, I'm unable to change to make changes to the sync through the network. Doesn't work at all, I can't click on it to change it. Again, this used to work over the network but not anymore.

After reading forum discussion, I believe the reason is because the salesperson set up a Google calendar (I have gmail). I would love to delete this calendar from my iPhone
I have tried setting the sync default to my regular calendar, but it still is not syncing... If only I could get rid of that Google calendar from my iPhone, I think I'd be in good shape!

Sep 9, 2011I just went from an old blackberry curve 8310 to the new 9900 and the calendar doesn't wake my phone anymore. In my old 8310 and in the new 9900 are set to sleep and wake a pre-definied times in my old phone if an event is scheduled in my calendar the phone will wake up and the calendar event will ring but on the new one the phone sleep untill the pre-defined time and ring for the calendar event that was scheduled earlier(ie my phone wake up at 7AM but one day i set something in my calendar at 6AM, the new phone doesnt wake untill 7 and ring for the missed appointment that was scheduled at 6AM. On my old 8310 it would wake at 6 and ring for that event) My question Is:Can I change an option somewhere that I can set so that the calendar behave like the same way as my old phone and wake my device and ring when an event is scheduled and the phone is in sleep (I set up the 9900 to close and wake at pre-determined time and I want the phone to wake early if there's something in my calendar).
