Dec 10, 2015I've tried all sorts of fixes, but my S5 Google Calendar syncs with S Planner but not my desktop version of Google Calendar.

View 1 RepliesFor some reason I can't find a way to sync Facebook Calender with S Planner. I tried the following with no success:
1) Go to S Planner > Manage Calenders > Add Account. Facebook is not there.
2) Go to Facebook app > Settings > App Settings > Sync Contacts > Sync with existing contacts. All it does is syncing Facebook contacts with the phone's contacts.
That's pretty frustrating as it was so easy to do with my HTC One M8.
I like the Samsung calendar app but installed Google calendar as well and synced them so that if I lost my phone, all of my calendar data would still be on the desktop site through Google. It worked when I first installed it months ago. I just signed on and noticed that nothing but birthdays are on the desktop site but everything that I've entered into the Samsung mobile app IS on the Google calendar app on my S5. I've tried syncing everything through both mobile apps and the desktop, as well as followed the instructions through Google's calendar desktop site.

My Windows Google calendar to my wife's Windows Google calendar is fine, syncs within 20-30 seconds. Seems like the sync to her Note5 and my S6 is so slow that to be sure we are getting the calendar updates we have to go in and manually sync the Google account on each phone. This process takes a good 5 mins and is not ideal to be doing it all day long to ensure we have the latest events.
Is there something I can check/change to get the sync to happen a bit more automatically/frequently on the phones?
Today the native calendar (green one) on my Galaxy S5 stopped syncing with my Google calendar. When I checked the settings there were no calendars listed. When I try to add a calendar, the app crashes. In addition to that, all the appointments on my phone have been deleted. The calendar is version 1.0.
It also will not sync to Outlook, which it had done previously.
If I add an apppointment in my BB 9900 it does appear in my desktop calendar but if I put one in the desktop calendar it automatically appears on the BB. How can I get the appointments entered on my BB to appear on the desktop?

There is no error message - I can sync Address, Tasks, and Memos just fine, but completely ignores my calendar settings. Sync settings are correct to sync everything. I am using a BB 9700, most updated firmware.
I have done numerous google searches and found if I delete the fb service book then it should work - this has worked in the past but for some reason is not working now.I downgraded back to v5.0 blackberry desktop manager but now back to square one - can sync everything just fine, completely ignores my calendar - no error messages.

And it doesn't allow me to cancel. it says it is cancelling but it never does. I have to turn the desktop off to get Blackberry to cancel. How can I fix this?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to sync my calendar from outlook to my Bold no problem. Now, the sync routine within the Blackberry Desktop application just skips calendar sync completely, nothing in the log file, just gives a little beep. Tasks, contacts, memo all sync fine. I have updated all device SW (5.0.0) and desktop versions. I have done hard resets, combined all calendars to one, etc.

I have configured two-way sync with Outlook Calendar through Desktop Mgr. I've verified that all of the advanced settings are also correct and out of the way:
No filters are set Conflict resolution says "add all conflicting appointments".Sync is two-way No confirmation is required for additions, deletions or changes
While my Outlook appointments are correctly being transferred to my BB, appointments entered directly on the BB will not transfer back to my Outlook calendar.
Using Outlook as POP but have been syncing calendar to blackberry 8830 device for some time now with no issues. Yesterday all Outlook calendar entries disappeared but entries are still on the blackberry. Reset synchronization and seems to update Outlook with any new ones and also update blackberry with any new calendar entries made in Outlook but none of original entries that are on BB will go to Outlook. Is there a way to export from the BB and import into Outlook. We have tried multiple things like one-way sync, device wins, etc. Don't want to lose entries on BB since there are tons. Just need to get them to Outlook. Any help is appreciated.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Torch last week. I use it for work. Due to firewall issues I had to have my IT department download the Desktop Software for me so that I could sync everything. I am on the personal plan not the Enterprise, although I still can receive emails for work.
When I did the Configure Settings to set up the syncing it let me do the Calendar and then the Address book. Yet when I got ready to run the sync the Calendar says "not installed". I was able to sync the contacts with my Outlook, but for some reason can't get the Calendar to work. I really need to have my calendar sync'd.
I'm on AT&T and have had the Bold 9000 previously. I never had any problems with the Desktop Software until now.

This is a clean install and syncing address book and contacts works fine. Syncing the calendar fails every time on entry 597 of 616. Why is it failing on this one specific entry and which one in my calendar is it? Also, what was the last Desktop Manager software version that included the Redirector?
I just updated the OS and the Desktop software to the newer versions above. As a result of that my calendar does not synchronize with the MSOutlook. The Desktop Software says that the Calendar is not installed.
If I go to the Selective Restore option he recognizes the Calendar (so the Calendar is there).
I've had my BB Torch for nearly a year & have no issues with synching but for some reason the calendar synch on my desktop software is now showing 'not installed'. I've done all the normal stuff to get it to synch but regardless it keeps showing 'not installed' - how can I get it back?
View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently I have been unable to sync my Blackberry calendar with my Outlook 2010 calendar. I am getting a message "calendar not installed" when I synch my organizer files. My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIn the past week or so, I have noticed that my Outlook (for Mac 2011) calendar is syncing to the wrong day on my Curve. All of the inconsistencies appear to be custom reoccurring appointments (every fourth Monday etc.). All of these reoccurring appointment seem to land on the first week of the month - so a fourth Monday lands on the first Monday etc. This seemed to happen before I attempted to resync the device.
I have backed up my Curve, deleted the calendar files and resynced the files. I am using BB dektop software 2.1.3.
I am trying to sync my Yahoo calendar with my Blackberry Bold 9700 via the Blackberry Desktop Manager (version 5.0.1) and am getting the error message "Connection to Yahoo server was lost" when the calendar sync is occurring. The only option on the screen is to press "OK". Once "OK" is pressed, the Blackberry Desktop Manager returns to the synchronization screen. The address book syncs successfully, but the calendar does not. I have tried syncing one way and both ways without success.
A few notes about the environment: I am using the newer version of Yahoo Calendar which I have seen recommended on other postings. I am using standard Yahoo not the small biz version. I have seen this recommended, too.I am connecting my Blackberry Bold 9700 to my laptop via the USB cable that is supplied by Blackberry.
I have a Blackberry Bold 9700.I run Outlook 2010 and Plaxo. How can I get BlackBerry Desktop Manager to sync my contacts and Calendar with either of these applications?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince this month, I have not been able to sync my BB calendar and contacts with my Yahoo account using the BB desktop manager. The process starts, but it never passes the address book part (it freezes and eventually crashes). I contacted Yahoo and they referred me to their Yahoo Intellisync. Which they don't support. I would switch to Google, but I recently changed my e-mail account; doing so one more time would be bad for business.

BB Desktop Manager version: 5.0.1.37
Device: Curve 8900 4.6.1
Lotus notes version: 8.0.2
I use BIS with tmobile and have my gmail emails delivered to my device.I am doing a lotus notes one-way calendar sync with my BB calendar. I am able to do this successfully. But the alarm & free/busy thing does not sync.Even though I have alarm set in my notes which works perfectly and I see the notification 15 mins before the meeting on my PC. They don't show up in BB calendar. In BB Desktop Manager-> map fields, the notes 'notify me' is mapped to 'device alarm flag' but when I open the details of an entry that BDM is going to make in the accept/reject screen these fields are empty. I am using the default field mapping in the desktop manager.
All reminder works for the entries that I create directly in BB. The device calendar reminder is set properly. No issues there. What should I change in the desktop manager so that I get a reminder in my BB for the lotus notes entry?

I've recently bought the Galaxy S5 off Giffgaff , and all is going well except for the S-Planner app.
I'm familiar with this very useful app after having the Galaxy S4, for about a year.
My "only" gripe is that I can't find out how to set it to display in "Analogue" format, so that I can read it easily.
On the S4 it was it was just a case of tapping the Left soft key next to the Home button, and selecting "settings" then "view styles" then "week view" and choosing "Analogue" But when I try the same thing on the S5... the app just turns even smaller.... I really don't want to send it back for this.
When I create a calendar on my macbook it automatically syncs with my iPhone, but none of the events on that calendar sync with my iPhone. How do you fix this and make it so everything syncs.

I am new to Blackberry desktop manager for mac. It is all set up and first sync is done without a problem. Now when I try to sync, I get a message that over 600 of my past calendar items will be deleted if I continue with sync. I need to keep previous calendar items, is there a way to solve this problem and not delete past events? I am sorry for asking this question, I am just new and very unsure of what I am doing. I had used missing sync before, but when my blackberry had to be replaced, new blackberry wouldn't work so I wanted to try desktop manager.
