Jul 25, 2011I have a torch 9800 and after upgrading my calendars no longer sync. I have one calendar that syncs through google sync and another that syncs through my business account (also a google account through a university). I've checked both calendars on google and they're syncing from my computers to the gmail accounts just fine. They're just not syncing from gmail to the blackberry.
I tried downgrading my blackberry to the lowest version of 6.0, but that didnt fix it. I also tried several soft resets.

Jun 6, 2011I have been able to sync my calendar entries between my BB 9800 Torch and my Yahoo calendar until recently. Both BB and Yahoo have been upgraded and now the sync no longer works. The BB Desktop Manager syncs my Contact List perfectly with Windows Contact list, then reads my BB Torch calendar, then stops syncing with the message " CONNECTION TO YAHOO SERVER WAS LOST". I have checked all my settings and reviewed other forum threads but cannot determine what is causing this problem.

Aug 25, 2010I have bought a Torch, but cannot get it to set up in the Organizer configuration to sync with my Calendar in MS Office XP- Outlook.My computer runs Windows XP. The contacts and memo will configure (although) they are posting to an archive folder and when I try to change that I get Error 0x80043bea), but the Calendar and Tasks will go through the set-up process, but when you finish it, the checkmark on those 2 Outlook folder disappears before you can even select the advance settings.I have re-set the configuration on the Desktop software a couple of times, to no avail, and uninstalled the Desktop 6.0 software and reinstalled it.

Jun 16, 2011I have two email addresses registered on my Torch: my business and my private email address. I have set my business email address as default. When syncing with Outlook, it syncs with the default calendar in Outlook and doesn't take over entries I made on the phone.
I tried moving all calendar entries from Default and my private email to the business email address on the Torch but then while syncing it wants to delete all my entries in the Outlook calendar.

Apr 29, 2010I purchased the Torch last week. I use it for work. Due to firewall issues I had to have my IT department download the Desktop Software for me so that I could sync everything. I am on the personal plan not the Enterprise, although I still can receive emails for work.
When I did the Configure Settings to set up the syncing it let me do the Calendar and then the Address book. Yet when I got ready to run the sync the Calendar says "not installed". I was able to sync the contacts with my Outlook, but for some reason can't get the Calendar to work. I really need to have my calendar sync'd.
I'm on AT&T and have had the Bold 9000 previously. I never had any problems with the Desktop Software until now.
