I have been tryign for a while to synchronize my oultook accounts with my blackberry bold 9000. It does the contacts and tasks. However, it says "not installed" next to Calender. I have been trying everything I possibly can, but have been unable to rectify this problem.

The interweb told me to download a tool to my laptop (htc synch) to do so, but that didn't work (basically because after the download finished my laptop said there was some kind of tech error). the only options are showing only the following:
- Calendar Display
- Conference calling
- Date & Time
- Accounts:
*email account1
*email account2
*email account3
#Appointment color
#display reminder
#number of entries
the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.

I've opened the device and disabled wireless synch from Contacts -> Options -> Desktop -> Wireless synch -> check off, still nothing happens ? I've logged off and on the computer what else should I do ? Switch off device and reboot ? Remove battery on device and re book ? I also use my enterprise mail on this devise so I can_not_ delete all desktop entries from advance options?

View 13 Replies View RelatedI've recently noticed a problem with the Desktop Manager when trying to sync Outlook contacts that are assigned to multiple categories.
1. I have setup a filter to only synchronize contacts where the category equals Personal or Business.
2. The rules is set to "one of more conditions must be met"
3. In Outlook I have some contacts that are assigned to multiple categories, for example Personal and Family
4. These contacts are not being sync'd to my device
My iPhone 5s has been upgraded to iOS 7.1.2 recently. I used to synchronize my exchange account at work to my personal iPhone for email pushing and calendar. It was very convenient for having meeting alarm on my phone as well.Â
Nevertheless, I noted that the synchronzation of calendar is unsatisfactory recently. Namely, the recent meeting calendars are synced while some older calendar on my exchange account is missing on my phone. Precisely, the synchronization is not completed. Strangely, some meetings are synchronized, but some won't for a same day. Â
I feel unsecure as I may miss some important meetings because of that. I have tried to remove the exhcnage account and add again, but no luck.

My BB desktop software is only allowing me to configure the calendar sync with one email account and not both. I have tried advanced setting and it doesn't seem to recognise any second outlook folder's calendar

I am new to Blackberry and this site which is rather overwhelming! I have what is probably a simple question but I can't figure it out. I have a Blackberry Bold 9780 with Software version 6.0.2.44. I sync with Outlook (Office Professional 2010). The Blackberry sync mode seems to delete calender entries on Outlook after about a month. I like to retain the entries but I cannot find an option on the sync set-up that stops this.

Now they no longer do - they show up as an email with an attachment called "application/X-rimdevicecalendar", and when trying to open the attachment, I get an error saying it can't be opened on the device.

With the new version of Desktop Manager (5.0.1) this option does not appear. Is this no longer available? I'm using Outlook 2003 to sync with my BB Bold 9000 (OS v4.6.0.303). No matter what I do, when I sync the first round of results will show that most of my Outlook entries will be deleted. When I then choose Resync it does the sync correctly. I have deleted my BB calander and resynced by xferring all Outlook items to the device - sync again and the same problem occurs. All I want to do is a simple sync of all items both ways but somehow I cannot get it right. Any advise? Thx a lot
