I am BB 9900 user and since yesterday I have noticed that wireless is not working on my handset. The BB Bold icon does not appear on the top after connecting but the signal strength Icon comes up with no problem. I tried to reset the wi fi connection and also tried to reset the settings but still nogo. Did rebooted the device multiple time and also un installed the latest 3rd party software but still no go.

i don't understand and it's quite annoying why it won't work as it did before. i've even spoken to orange and sky to try and solve this problem and still nothing.
whenever i browse the web on my blackberry via the browser through wif the pages never load. it's actually quicker to disconnect from wifi and use 3g then wifi. my blackberry was working fine before why has it stopped working. this has to be fixed as it's a pain!
i've tested other wifi spots and i have the same problem so i know it's not my router. i removed the security on my router but still no luck. i've done a master reset on my blackberry and still the wifi will not work. i've even had the handset replaced and still the wifi will not work!
the blackberry connects fine to the router and its shows as connected to the router but it just refuses to load pages when wifi is on. it gives me an error message:
"unable to find the requested server"when wifi is on and i try to browse the double headed arrow icon in the top right should be on when using the wifi, but it hardly appears at all when the pages attempt to load it should be on constantly when loading pages through wifi.
i can't even see Internet videos it keeps buffering the gives me the same error message as above.
How do I synch the contacts from my Berry to my google gmail account? When I go to my contacts and use options I have a contact list of unknown which has my contacts that I use for my bold. When I go to the unknown list under Wireless Synchronization it is grayed out and says unavailable. I can't figure out how to synch them. I want to back up my contacts online/gmail and be able to download them to future phones.

But now I'm having some weird problem where my phone is connected to the wireless but it just won't let me surf the internet or just simpy open my twitter.
I've checked:
1. Amount of bar for the connection: just doing fine, at least it says good connection.
2. My mobile networks: in network mode>> WCDMA only, which I have several time open my internet browser without any fail until now.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having severe problems with my bb torch 9800, it wont stay connected to the wireless network for any length of time before I have to register it again, this is happening daily now realised it was doing this when i try and send information over my wifi and it would connect to it but would not send any data, and comes up with a message stating I am not connected to the wireless network. As said before the way I could get it to work temporary is by going to, options, device, advanced system settings, host routing table, and the pressing the bb key and selecting register now. This has only started happening since updating my torch.

After that my phone will detect the wifi in my room and it will connect to the wifi, but no internet access. And the same time it is working fine with the wifi in my office. So i did the Factory data reset, but still its not working. My friends are using different android phones and they are able to access the internet, even I can use my laptop to connect to the wifi.

I am stationed in Afghanistan and purchased this unlocked version. I am using a Local carrier (Roshan). Everything works great once I sorted a couple of minor issues except I cannot get the wifi to come up. I can connect to wireless routers and says "connected". But the wifi is still grayed out and I am unable to use it (wifi) for anything or register the phone. I would like to be in a situation where the wifi will work independent of the sim card installed.
While connected to my wireless for data, voice signal strength hovers at 1 bar. I can't find the signal strngth meter in settings to double check this as I write... when I am connected to 3g I typically see 3-4 bars...

ATT forgot to order her a wireless charger so they finally did and used it for the first time last night. Not sure how long she charged, but after chargine, the phone did not work and she could not boot the phone.
I asked her to ry to do a soft reset by holding the volume and middle button, the phone vibrates after 10 seconds, but it shoes a blue screen. I asked her to do a hard reset wiping everything and starting frrom factory, same thing happens with a blue screen coming on and nothing else.
Im not certain if she had the update either, i doubt she has the update. Is there a way to get this phone up and running or will i have to do a warranty exchange?
I bought the 920 upon returning from vacation on 11/13. I bought the wireless charging stand as well. The first few days it worked flawlessly. I went away on a business trip and upon my return the phone would no longer charge wirelessly.
I went to ATT to have them look at it. I was given the run around and told I had to run across town (an hour away) to their service center where I also got a good run around. I asked them if they could open a charger to see if it was my charger or the phone. They assured me it was the charger based on literally no diagnosis. Extremely frustrating. They ordered a replacement which they assured me would be here in two days. Its been almost two weeks.
Anyway, today I finally received the wireless charging plate from the ATT promotion. I promptly opened the box to see if my phone would charge hoping it would. However it does not.
Now, with both the stand and the plate, they light comes on acknowledging the link, and on the stand the nfc app launcher works. Neither will charge the phone.
Is there anything that I can try? I have already don't a hard reset erasing all my data, multiple resets, scanned through all the settings, etc.
So ever since I updated my phone to the new 6.0 software version, my BBM and my wireless internet won't work. I've tried taking the battery out, restarting the phone, excetra, but nothing is working. I only got it about a month ago, so I'm extremely confused as to why it has stopped working.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my Nexus 5 the wireless charging and NFC suddenly stopped working.. Everything worked properly until yesterday but suddenly my NFC tags have not been recognized and i just tried my wireless charging pad and it is also not working..
I expect a hardware problem because all the nfc-based apps are working if nfc is turned on and aren't working if nfc is turned off.. Is it a problem with the NFC/wireless charging pad or with the pcb? I guess i have to replace one of the parts but which - is there any way to find out which one? When i lay it onto the wireless charger the indication led of the charger doesn't change the color and also doesn't seem to recognize the phone, so i guess it's the charging pad which is located in the backcover?
Everything else is working properly.. Is there anything i can do about it or do i have to change any component?
I added the wireless charging antenna NeWisdom® from amazon and it worked well with my different qi chargers including Itian A6 Qi Three Coils Wireless Charging Pad with 5V from amazon for couple of months.
Last week i used the fast charger that comes with a nexus 6 and since then wireless charging stopped working for me ( i tried multiple wireless chargers CHOE UPGRADED Qi Wireless Charger Charging Pad from amazon). Even worse using the cable directly from the wireless charger i referred above does not work ( other charger cables i have seem to work ok when i plug them in).
Samsung G6S on verizon, using verizon wireless charger. for months, all was well until updating the phone a few days ago (to G920VVRU3BOG5). now the phone will no longer charge wirelessly.

I haven't had some of the other issues reported here with freezing, apps, etc.I have a Nokia charging plate and I've found that no matter what I do the wireless charging plate absolutely does not work. I've turned off Bluetooth, Wifi, turned ON Battery Saver, disabled every background app, even hard reset my phone and tried charging it from stock. The wireless charging plate doesn't even maintain the current battery state - The battery slowly drains hour by hour. I've also tried placing the phone on the charging plate in different positions to ensure it's making good contact.

Despite of the fact that their power adapters are white while they are black (Would be nice if Nokia could match their colors, it isn't so hard and would look much better) none of them seem to be working.Tried both of them with two different Lumia 920s and nothing happens, no lights or anything. The connection appears in my wireless connections and it appears to have full bars, and it appears to connect me when I select it, but when I try to open a web page I get "server not found" message, and then when I look back at the connection it says "connected with limited access". I am in a city with so called full red 3G coverage too. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or is it the phones inability to transmit a wireless signal? I tried all the different types of security options in the program and still nothing. Am I simply out of luck with using this phone as a hot spot and am I going to have to upgrade to the evo v 4g to do it? By the way I am using windows Vista if that matters.

View 6 Replies View Relatedafter purchasing a charm with motoblur last week, i was able to set up my motoblur account through wi-fi, send and receive messages as tests to make sure the phone was working through providers at&t and t-mobile (because i had unlocked and inserted an existing british simcard on the network "3"). i opted to not enter the browser/marketplace due to the price of roaming abroad.after travelling back to the uk today, i was able to make a couple of calls and around twenty sms's with no problems whatsoever, but as i was not roaming abroad any more, i tried the browser, marketplace, maps and Internet. none of these worked due to the network state being disconnected, despite being connected to the provider "3" (found going through settings>status>network connection state: disconnected). thus when returning home, i hunted around the internet on the computer to find a way for browsing to return, just in case i'd by accident declined something earlier in the week. i came upon the "master reset / factory data reset" page on the website: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/49373/~/charm---master-reset-%2f-factory-data-reset
after following these instructions, the phone reset. ok. then, when going back through the welcome/getting started intro to the phone, there was still a failure of network connection, and any wi-fi connections with the correct password entered always ended in "wrong password entered," or it ignored the previous password and a vicious circle of correct password after correct password began.
I just picked up a MiFi 4G device and I carry it at all times. However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've been using Samsung S5620 Monte (S5620 Onix in Spain; S5620 Star 3G in Brazil) for a few days now. It's a nice phone, but I can't get WiFi to work in WPA2-PSK(AES) mode with my DLink DI-524 wireless router. I can get the phone to connect in open, WEP or WPA modes, at home and also in public wireless networks, but there's no way to get it to work in WPA2 mode (which is my protocol of choice).
My wireless router log keeps saying that the phone has associated and then immediately disassociated because “WPA retey failed”. The DI-524 is running with the latest firmware update (hardware code B4, firmware version 2.07). It seems to be a Monte protocol issue, since both my Nokia E71 phone and my Dell Vostro notebook can easily connect to my home wireless network using WPA2. Is anybody facing the same problem? Is there any way to solve it? Does Samsung intend to release a firmware update soon?
I recently got C3-00. The reason for buying this was the WiFi. I tried to detect the WiFi that i have at home and I was successful in doing that. When i go to the browser to load a page it shows "Loading" for sometime and then it says "Cannot connect".how i should i configure my phone to get the WiFi running.
