Sometimes when I synchronize the iPhone with iPhoto, it takes too long and some photos don't get synchronized it says that the file is unreadable and on iPhoto it appears all corrupted.

I've just installed iOS 5.1.1, discovered that not all photos that I checked in iTunes had been synchronized to my iPhone, noted that Other was taking up lots of space, restored the iPhone from a backup, discovered that it still did not subsequently sync all requested photos, selected to sync no photos and delete those on the iPhone, and am in the process of once again syncing the photos that I selected.
Now I notice that I selected 25,287 photos, but iTunes is reporting "Copying photo ... of 13,320". Why just 13,320? I elected to erase all the photos on the iPhone, so I would expect that iTunes would have to copy all 25,287!
Maybe Apple would be wise to invest some cash in software quality control. iOS 5 and iPhoto '11 are seriously flawed.

I have 5 IMAP accounts and recieve all email happily on the MBP, but most emails don't show up on the iPhone...It's an iPhone 4 on the newest software, and the MBP is on Mail version 4.5 SL.

Nevertheless, I noted that the synchronzation of calendar is unsatisfactory recently. Namely, the recent meeting calendars are synced while some older calendar on my exchange account is missing on my phone. Precisely, the synchronization is not completed. Strangely, some meetings are synchronized, but some won't for a same day. Â
I feel unsecure as I may miss some important meetings because of that. I have tried to remove the exhcnage account and add again, but no luck.

i had a virus in my computer and thus i had to Format it. During this i lost all the data of Syncs and Apps and stuff. When i click on the "Sync Apps" in my iPhone Tab. The Preview on the right changes from my apps to No Apps except for bookmarks. What i want to do is keep all the Apps as they are currently and want to get all the Apps which i have bought during the purchase of my iPhone on the list on the left, as my Apple Account records what i buy, i should some how get the apps back on the list which should include me downloading them again.

I tried to sync a custom ringtone (m4r) on my iPhone 4s but iTunes says it will erase all my music and videos if I want to start synchronizing ringtones.My iTunes library is over 100gb. The iPhone 3GS was syncronized in iTunes. I was using iCal too, but I'm not sure if there's any automatic or manual syncronizing there. Just right after unplugging the iPhone from iTunes after the syncronizing was finished, the entire SMS list was deleted on the phone. I'm not sure if the backup procedure is usually running at the same time together with the syncronizing. But anyway is it possible to retrieve back the SMS list?
I have tried out several backup and recovery applications for iPhone and programs for Mac, but none of them work to backup the latest SMS list.
I also have an entire external backup of the whole Macbook, and with a swipe of luck it was backed up just two days before the deletion.

I searched for this issue and found nothing, so sorry if I missed it but I am having a very specific problem since updating yesterday. When I edit a photo, mostly the crop feature, I get a loading circle and then my locked/passcode screen. Has anyone else experienced this? At first I edited about 2-3 photos and then hit this issue, but now it's every single time I hit edit. It's not a full reboot, just a loading screen, then passcode but all apps are still running and it only takes about 5 seconds.

My wife and I have iPhone 4S. When we hooked up (via USB) our iPhones to the Mac, it used to launch iPhoto and we would then upload/delete those pictures. Now that we are doing this wirelessly, it does not automatically launch iPhoto. Only problem is that when we launch iPhoto, it recognizes my phone but not hers.

After creating a new album, all the photo in it get duplicated, once in the app iphoto.
And keep duplicating every time the app updates the library! Now it's #12! Feels like the magician in "Fantasy" Disney's movie!
Note: luckily they are duplicated just in the app iphoto, not in the default image app.

I record a movie with my iphone 4S. No problems there, I can watch them on the phone. I transfer them to iphoto 11 (v9.2.2) and they wont play. I hear the audio but I see a frozen screen. Now I drag the movies to my desktop and they play perfectly with quicktime. (When I transfer movies from my flip camera, they play in iphoto with no issues.) I have a MacBook Pro (version 10.5.8). I recently installed a new hard drive, battery, and had the Genius Bar reinstall my OS X. Now, iTunes and iPhoto don't recognize my iPhone 4 (version 5.1) when it's attached through the USB port. It simply doesn't show up in the left column of either program. Before the hard drive, battery and reinstall of OS X, I never had this problem.
I have tried restarting my phone and my computer, and looking for my iPhone in Image Capture, and none of these actions have worked.

I am a lifelong apple user. I am running the latest IOS software on iTunes and my MacBook uses OS X 10.7.3. All of the software is up to date. I was originally upset because iPhoto and Image Capture would not detect my iPhone 4 but I got over it. Now iTunes won't detect the phone and that is not ok. I searched the forums but I didn't find anything that has resolved the issue. I cannot delete iTunes and reinstall because my computer tells me it is "required by OS X". Therefore, searching finder and deleting then re installing will not work.

I am hoping to clear up some space on my iphone and I deleted some pics from what I thought was the camera roll within iphoto. I noticed later that while attempting to change my wallpaper, I noticed that pics I thought I deleted were still on the phone as evidenced by their availability to be used as wallpaper. I checked that I had selected cameral roll and not photostream, where it would make sense the photos would still be there. When I left settings I noticed that I have iphoto and the phots app on my iphone. Do I need both? And if i want to delete photos, do I need to delete photos from the cameral roll within iphoto AND the photos app??
