What do I do when my iPhone won't connect to my iTunes or iPhoto or be acknowledged by my apple mac? It is fully connected and charges from my laptop but does not connect to iTunes or iPhoto. It did until today and I didn't update anything until it didn't connect because I thought that may have been the issue(I had never updated my iPhone before) and now it is telling me to plug it in to my mac to access my iTunes, however, like I said previously, my mac won't acknowledge that my iPhone is there
Sometimes when I synchronize the iPhone with iPhoto, it takes too long and some photos don't get synchronized it says that the file is unreadable and on iPhoto it appears all corrupted.
I searched for this issue and found nothing, so sorry if I missed it but I am having a very specific problem since updating yesterday. When I edit a photo, mostly the crop feature, I get a loading circle and then my locked/passcode screen. Has anyone else experienced this? At first I edited about 2-3 photos and then hit this issue, but now it's every single time I hit edit. It's not a full reboot, just a loading screen, then passcode but all apps are still running and it only takes about 5 seconds.
My wife and I have iPhone 4S. When we hooked up (via USB) our iPhones to the Mac, it used to launch iPhoto and we would then upload/delete those pictures. Now that we are doing this wirelessly, it does not automatically launch iPhoto. Only problem is that when we launch iPhoto, it recognizes my phone but not hers.
How to get this changed so she can upload her pictures?
I have a problem with my iPhone, iPad and my sons iPod touch (4th gen). They are all running ios 5.1.1.When trying to transfer pictures from either devices to iPhoto 11 (ver. 9.2.3), none of the devices will show in the sidebar - so that I can select them and transfer the pictures. The devices all show in iTunes. The checkmark in iPhoto saying that when a device is connected, it must start iPhoto is "checked".The issue appeared 3 - 4 weeks ago. Before that it was working fine
I have a few photos and one 2 minute video on my iPhone 5s however, whenever I plug it in to my Macbook pro computer all the photos will appear in iPhoto under except for the 2 minute video. The video is too long to email and I want to get it on my computer how can I get the video to appear so I can import it?
Before you guys attack me, yes I have searched the forum for an answer but everything ive read were back in 2007 with FW 1.xim on a 3gs and iphoto and image capture doesn't recognize my iphone. are there any fixes for this, please! I have some very meaningful pix that i would like to transfer over w/o restoring the phone. (or email to myself)
I took tons of HD videos and they play great on my iPhone 4 but when I just imported everything into iPhoto most of the videos are skipping literally every second.
I record a movie with my iphone 4S. No problems there, I can watch them on the phone. I transfer them to iphoto 11 (v9.2.2) and they wont play. I hear the audio but I see a frozen screen. Now I drag the movies to my desktop and they play perfectly with quicktime. (When I transfer movies from my flip camera, they play in iphoto with no issues.) What to do to be able to watch iphone 4 movies in iphoto?

When I plug my iphone 4 into my macbook pro it opens up iphoto, but no longer syncs the photos from my phone to my computer? How do I fix this? Iphoto doesn't show my iphone in the side bar like it used to.
I have a MacBook Pro (version 10.5.8). I recently installed a new hard drive, battery, and had the Genius Bar reinstall my OS X. Now, iTunes and iPhoto don't recognize my iPhone 4 (version 5.1) when it's attached through the USB port. It simply doesn't show up in the left column of either program. Before the hard drive, battery and reinstall of OS X, I never had this problem.
I have tried restarting my phone and my computer, and looking for my iPhone in Image Capture, and none of these actions have worked.
I am a lifelong apple user. I am running the latest IOS software on iTunes and my MacBook uses OS X 10.7.3. All of the software is up to date. I was originally upset because iPhoto and Image Capture would not detect my iPhone 4 but I got over it. Now iTunes won't detect the phone and that is not ok. I searched the forums but I didn't find anything that has resolved the issue. I cannot delete iTunes and reinstall because my computer tells me it is "required by OS X". Therefore, searching finder and deleting then re installing will not work.
I recently downloaded the iphoto app to my iPhone 4s. I am hoping to clear up some space on my iphone and I deleted some pics from what I thought was the camera roll within iphoto. I noticed later that while attempting to change my wallpaper, I noticed that pics I thought I deleted were still on the phone as evidenced by their availability to be used as wallpaper. I checked that I had selected cameral roll and not photostream, where it would make sense the photos would still be there. When I left settings I noticed that I have iphoto and the phots app on my iphone. Do I need both? And if i want to delete photos, do I need to delete photos from the cameral roll within iphoto AND the photos app??
an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1 confirm whether the iPhoto app shows up in Settings > Location Services? I'm sure it used to appear below iMovie, but I might be mistaken.

The past several months I have tried syncing photos from my camera roll on my iPhone 4 to iPhoto have ended in iPhoto stuck on "Loading Photos" and no photos are ever loaded. I have over 300 photos on my phone since the last time I uploaded them.Something happened to my phone and I need to send it in for a replacement and I would rather not lose all of my pictures due to problems with my iPhoto syncing. Help!!I have tried enabling Photo Stream on my phone but I can't enable it on iPhoto for some reason. There is no iCloud option in my system preferences. Yes, I do have the latest version of iPhoto (besides the new iLife). I just updated my iPhone software to 5.1.1 still no luck.
I'm on a older MacBook pro running iTunes version 9.2.1. When I plug my iPhone 4s into my comp iPhoto recognizes it and I can transfer photos but iTunes doesn't see my phone at all... Tried following apples suggestions, restart phone and iTunes, reset iPhone, check USB connections... Nothing has worked yet.
I tried to upload a photo from my iphone to iphoto but I get a popup that says "The following photo could not be imported. (The file is an unrecognized format)." Also those pictures only show up as empty dotted squares.
I want to transfer an album on my iPhoto to my iPhone 5s. When I plug in my iPhone to my computer and bring up iTunes, however, a Photos tab is not present. Is there another way to transfer my
