BB Curve :: Configuration Setting For Synchronizing?
Apr 3, 2011
I try to synchronizing address book with outlook, but if I klik configuration setting, I can't choise check box for address book, calender etc ( always ask connect internet ). I won't connect internet...
I was exploring my mom's c3 then I came to the restore factory setting. I clicked restore all factory setting. It deleted all internet setting and all personal data. I tried to click the browser button but nothing happened. What should I do? The phone is useless now. The Nokia app was deleted too, the ovi store..
My BB was synching fine with my desktop and mysteriously stopped. Now after it asks for the password (to my BB) it just sits and spins. The BB shows the computer and BB icons and nothing happens. When I try to exit the program the 'Exiting Blackberry Desktop Software box pops up and it just spins ( when i say spin i refer to the little green circle icon).
i have been able to sync to hotmail account and can send and receive email but when i try to sync contacts it says, 'your device encountered a prob with this application,s server try again'?
I change my iphone to Blackberry curve. In Iphone I see the folders of my Imap mail (same than outlook), I can't see the folders on my blackberry. When I read a mail on my blackberry and mark it such as "read" in the outlook appears "don't read". Do you know how I can syncronize these two matters?
I used to have a Palm Pilot, and quite easily on there, when you synchronised with computer, you could get your calendar coming up; can the same be done on a blackberry 8520?
I been client of RIM since its begining in mexico. My wife has a 9300 with OS 6 but I can not access to her email configuration with her user name and password in the device but in the BB internet service page I can.
I've gone into the browser > options > configuration and to change the default browser, I only get Google, Yahoo, and 2 others (which I don't care about).
I want to: 1) change the default to Google.CA - not .com (everything is returning US results even though I am located in southwestern ontario - NOT near the border)OR 2) change it to the google mobile local.
Also... using Rogers I can't seem to change the default "home" page from Rogers, so I never use the "home" page LOL. Any ideas on how I can do that? (I have the curve 8310)
For no apparent reason, whenever I attempt to synchronize, the calendar does not synch with my Lotus Notes (the address book does) and Desktop Manager shuts itself down. I am now getting a dialogue box stating "the default service for your device's calendar has changed since the last time you synchronized." I don't recall changing anything. I have attempted to change the default service from Yahoo (my email comes from this account as work doesn't authorize the Lotus Notes email on the phone) to Lotus Notes and it's not even an option.
I have registered for BIS email set up account. My problem is I have forgotten both my username & password for logging on to that account. What possible way can I reset this account?
I want to change my e-mail on my Blackberry, but when I select Email configuration, the following message pops out: "Your device had a problem connecting to the server". I select "retry", but the same message returns, again and again. What should I do to change my e-mail configuration? I am connected to the internet with Blackberry service.
So i am having problems with setting up my email on my curve. i go through the ropes in the setup wizard, but it never seems to save my passwords or actually finish setup. also, i don't seem to have internet access without wifi, i've tried doing all that registration through setup and host routing table, but still nothing.
I am told that it is possible to synchronize my blackberry calendar with my online work diary, so that my blackberry calendar always remains up to date (when entries are made online). I am trying to achieve this but do not know how. I have a blackberry curve 8520.
Curve 8520 has synchronised well with Outlook 2010 that uses hotmail connector. Suddenly stopped working and gave error message "Unable to access local folders. If your Outlook profile uses hotmail connector you must create a local data store (PST) and set it as the default delivery location for the profile"
Is it possible to synchronise contacts, calendar and emails from Windows Live Mail with 9320?If not, do I end up needing to use something like Microsoft Outlook 2010?
i have i problem with my blackberry curve 8520 my browser is not working and appears a message like this:YOUR DEVICE DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ANY BROWSER CONFIGURATION SERVICE BOOK ENTRIES,a while ago was working but now NOT ENY MORE,what can i do?
Does anyone know how to access the Browser Configuration on OS 6's browser? I want to set it to Internet Explorer and don't know how. It seems to have disappeared. I knew how to do it on the old software but since I upgraded I can't.
Bought a curve 8520. Then upgraded to a bold. Trying to give the curve to my wife. What I am trying to do is wipe everything on the phone so it is like a new bought phone so I can then just slot her SIM card into it. How do I do this?
Hi I am using Curve 8520. My device software version is 5.0.0822(1385).I want to use do not disturb setting but its not showing in my active profile. I am using normal profile. Can any tel me solution on it. I want Do Not Disturb Setting in my profile. How to get it?
I have a blackberry curve 8520 obtained from Amazon. I cannot set up e-mail as the only option on the set up screen is using set up an enterprise connection. This is a dead end.
im trying to set up my email on my blackberry but it says in the options; has your blackberry enterprise server administrator provided you with an enterprise activation password what is this and how do i get one ?
I am trying to get things setup on my E71 so I can use my RingCentral service from my device. But, I can't seem to get things to connect up. I keep getting a message saying "registration failed" after creating the new SIP connection profile. I would like to offer some more useful information but I cannot seem to find any type of log to check on what's preventing a successful connection. RingCentral provides me with the following... I guess I am just putting them into the wrong inputs?
SIP user
SIP password
proxy address
proxy port (5060)
proxy type (UDP)
registrar address
registrar port (5060)
registrar type (UDP)
But they don't put a 'realm', or 'public user name' anywhere in their documentation. Some useful information they provide can be had here: http://help.ringcentral.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/206/kw/SIP/r_id/166
Can anyone offer me any advice on how to get this all going? I'm at a loss as to what I could change.
