Bought a curve 8520. Then upgraded to a bold. Trying to give the curve to my wife. What I am trying to do is wipe everything on the phone so it is like a new bought phone so I can then just slot her SIM card into it. How do I do this?

I seem to be having trouble setting up email on my Curve 9300. When I press the trackball with internet mail highlighted it does nothing. This is a work phone for I am not the first user of the phone. This all started with the outage we had ealier in the month.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a Curve 8520 from O2, without internet data allowance. Ever since the day I got it, the wi-fi setting didn't seem to work properly. The 'wi-fi' icon on the home screen is permenantly grey, and there is always a white '-' after 'wi-fi' in the 'manage connection' window, although the mobile shows that it has been connected to the wi fi network. In the browser selection, there is only a 'hotspot' and an 'O2 active'.
The other problem is about email setting. In the 'Email setup' panel, there is only a 'I want to use a work email account with a blackberry Enterprise Server', but without a private email account seeting. And without being able to connect to a wi fi network, I cannot use the email function at all!The other equiry is about the 'SIM card' option in 'Advanced option' list. The phone number appear to be 'unknown number'.
Error message "The user name or password for "Gmail" is incorrect.I've checked and rechecked settings on iPhone & Gmail and the user name & password are correct.

I wiped the phone so I could put my information on and recently checked a post that if it wasn't for work purposes you didn't need a blackberry password to set up my personal e-mail address and the password was only for work related e-mails.
Can someone confirm if this is the case and also how I set it up otherwise as it just keeps asking for a password and wont let me add mine on without it.
I have looked everywhere I can tink of but can't find anywhere that shows how to set up and use voice dialing. Can someone point me in the right direction please.
