My browser started giving me a white stripe where the webpage was not visible around 4 months ago, but it was sporadic. Now every page I go to, whether google, or facebook, or any webpage, the white stripe exists and I am not able to view the entire contents. They are there because I can click links that are coded, but the text and pictures are not complete.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday i discovered a problem with some of the photos I took. On some photos I get a white vertical stripe to the right on the photo. It seems like it only occurs when there is alot of light in the shoot. Is this something to do with the lighting in the room? Have tried with auto and manual. No difference. No damage on the lens of the glass.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Torch 9800 is three months old now and last week, the browser started acting weirdly. In any website I go to, twitter, yahoo home page or tumblr, there would always be white blanks or cuts that prevent me from seeing the whole page. It isn't just one cut, as i scroll down there will be white cuts every now and then. It isn't something related to poor internet connection either, I tried testing it standing beside our wifi internet router with full signal and still the page loads like this.
There isn't a Blackberry service center here in the Philippines and the nearest is either Hong Kong or Singapore. The telecom brand that I got the phone from advised me to try resetting my phone back to factory settings so that maybe this glitch might clear up. I asked them if it was something that could be solved by updating or is a result of accidentally changing some phone options. In the end they told me to back up my phone, bring it to them so they could restore it to factory settings, worse comes to worst that it's still not back to normal, since it's still under warranty, they'll gladly give me a new one.
ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?? Does it have something to do with updating? lack of memory space? accidentally changing browser options/settings?Here are links of what it looks like. I took the liberty of screen munching it so you guys can understand what im trying to say [URL]..

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust switched from an ancien NOKIA to E52 and at the moment it's a struggle. I wonder if the white LED visible between the Home key and the Call Send key is normal. Sometimes it comes on together with the screen and sometimes it does not - so I guess it's not normal. And I didn't see it in any of the You Tube videos on E52.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI can really blame this one on the dog. Walking to my desk, phone in hand, excited puppy races along and bounces into me, phone goes flying. Lands face down.Screen is white, and will sometimes flash grey lines when it seems the phone is trying to do something (like reboot). The music that was playing before the drop continued to play after. The touch screen does not seem to respond. The phone rings when people call me, and my alarm that I had set still went off. Itunes recognizes when my phone is plugged into my computer.
I've been doing research for a few hours trying to see if this is something I can fix - I opened it up to re-seat all the connections, and that didn't help (it didn't seem to make things worse either, at least). There are no visible cracks/breaks on the outside (I have not completely dismantled the inside to see from there).
Phone is a week past warranty, and I don't know that this would have been covered anyway. I'm prepared to fix it myself, as long as I have a good idea what I need to buy. Should I be looking at an LCD replacement? A digitizer replacement? Something else? I've read conflicting things on this. Thanks for any help that can be offered.
I recently bought BlackBerry Curve 8520, and today I noticed a dark spot on its screen it is only visible on white background, and the text reads just fine. The intensity of the spot changes it depends at which angle I am reading the text, etc. (well, this is rather obvious, I guess). I tried to reboot the device by removing the battery, it didn't help.

My best Buy pretty much said they do not want to take the phone back again because of how many times I've returned it for various legitamate issues. Now, in addition to this device having the usual issues I've had with it, I now have a bright white pixel that only shows on white/light colored backgrounds.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUsing the standard browser on my Bold 9700, when I try and do a Google search, or when I look at most pages, the page doesn't load at all. When I refresh it a few times or change between column and regular view some of the page shows up sometimes, but not all of it. I've had my BlackBerry since about a month ago and the problem just started last night.
I've done the battery pull several times, and I've cleared the cache a lot. Problem still persists. Opera meanwhile can load any page.
I don't know of any other fixes, so, is there maybe a way I can reinstall the BlackBerry browser? I would really prefer to use it instead of Opera.
When I open internet, go to page to browse something, starts loading, the blue bar at the bottom looks its loading (however exceptionally slow) and gets to the end, but never actually loads the page.The version of my OS is 5.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm a web developer wanting to debug web pages inside the Xoom web browser.I have a particular issue in which I have a page with a number of <select> lists, the first two lists allow me to choose values but the remaining lists do not - even though I know the lists contain values. I'm guessing that this could be a WebKit bug but am hoping there are some simple debug tools to assist me, similar to Google Chrome, but I have no idea where to find them. about:debug doesn't help much and view-source: doesn't work.
Have tried using Opera Mobile browser and the lists works without a problem and have tried Firefox but this was too buggy to test. Dolphin seems to exhibit the same issues as the default Xoom browser so I'm gessing it uses the same version of WebKit.Getting this working is a crucial part of my system and I do not want to recommend that the customer use iPads to get the most reliable web functionality. I just got my Blackberry Curve two weeks ago and it the browser doesn't load pages. The bar at the bottom looks like it has reached 100% but it never shows the webpage. My friend downloaded Opera Mini and it works fine. My email also works fine. I wanted to download an app and it didn't work either because I think it was using the brower to open a webpage.

But when i use the browser and my network settings to connect, it is fine but only for a few days or a week. Now and again i get a problem where the browser wont display anyweb pages! All the settings are in correctly, and nothing gets adjusted, i even get the Hor 3G symbol to show me that i am actually infact connected to the internet, but a blank page just keeps coming up saying Try refreshing the browser or try again later.. This has happened to me twice now, and the only way of fixing theproblem is by reseting factory settings which is very annoying! ive tried deleting browsing history,and tried other websites to access too but nothing seems to work. The blue bar will load fully but the actual web page will never open - it's just stuck on the loading screen. I'm fairly sure I haven't changed any settings or anything but about a week ago it stopped opening the pages.

When ever I try and access the Internet or click a link, the Browser opens up says "requesting" and then "loading" - the Blue Bar starts to slowly load up at the bottom of the screen - and thats it, nothing else happensthe screen remains blank, the Blue bar loads up and ... nothing.
My Mobile plan allows me Internet 2G acess and I also have Wi-Fi - all of which has been working perfectly for 8 months until now.
Wi-Fi and 2G internet appears to work perfectly for my Twitter app and my Emails come thru fine too.
I was texting on my bb a few days ago when all of a sudden the screen went completely white, the phone itself was functioning as it still played my text tone when I relieve a text, I've tried a battery pull and a complete restore through my computer... neither of which worked.

My 20 month old son picked up my father's brand new (2 weeks old) iphone 5S, and 5 minutes later we see he has somehow turned the screen completely black and white. No color remains. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my IPhone 4 for about a year now, about 3 months ago, I noticed a white substance eluding from underneath, I assumed it to be glue. It has now completely covered the home button square and makes it appear very unsightly. A couple of days a go I noticed how the home button feels like it has sunk into the phone, you are only now able to push it partially down to use it. Multitasking now is fairly intermittent.
