When I open internet, go to page to browse something, starts loading, the blue bar at the bottom looks its loading (however exceptionally slow) and gets to the end, but never actually loads the page.The version of my OS is 5.
View 1 RepliesMy 8520 browser has suddenly stopped loading Internet pages.
When ever I try and access the Internet or click a link, the Browser opens up says "requesting" and then "loading" - the Blue Bar starts to slowly load up at the bottom of the screen - and thats it, nothing else happensthe screen remains blank, the Blue bar loads up and ... nothing.
My Mobile plan allows me Internet 2G acess and I also have Wi-Fi - all of which has been working perfectly for 8 months until now.
Wi-Fi and 2G internet appears to work perfectly for my Twitter app and my Emails come thru fine too.
Using the standard browser on my Bold 9700, when I try and do a Google search, or when I look at most pages, the page doesn't load at all. When I refresh it a few times or change between column and regular view some of the page shows up sometimes, but not all of it. I've had my BlackBerry since about a month ago and the problem just started last night.
I've done the battery pull several times, and I've cleared the cache a lot. Problem still persists. Opera meanwhile can load any page.
I don't know of any other fixes, so, is there maybe a way I can reinstall the BlackBerry browser? I would really prefer to use it instead of Opera.
The internet browser on my phone has not been working. Every time I try to load a page, it doesn't finish loading.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got my Blackberry Curve two weeks ago and it the browser doesn't load pages. The bar at the bottom looks like it has reached 100% but it never shows the webpage. My friend downloaded Opera Mini and it works fine. My email also works fine. I wanted to download an app and it didn't work either because I think it was using the brower to open a webpage.

The blue bar will load fully but the actual web page will never open - it's just stuck on the loading screen. I'm fairly sure I haven't changed any settings or anything but about a week ago it stopped opening the pages.

Some pages always load fine such as wikipedia however others such as facebook just don't load at all. Has anyone else had similar experiences in some pages loading fine but others just not loading at all? I have tried multiple browsers and turned firewall off.

It's not a case of internet connection, because my apps work. So I don't know what to do, I've tried resetting, and it sometimes does the trick, but after a little it starts to not work anymore.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had this problem since Lolipop upgrade, my wife is now getting this problem after moving from Z1 compact (lolipop) to Z3 compact too, also seen this issue on XDA forums so it's a definite Z3 issue.
If I click a link in an app (Twitter, Google Search etc) then a Chrome tab opens but nothing loads in it, clicking the address and pressing return does nothing, copying the address and pasting in to a new tab or incognito window works OK. killing the app in the mutitask window doesn't work, restarting the phone allows it to work for a couple of days before it starts doing this again.
A solution is needed and rebooting the phone is not a solution, it's a temporary fix. I have a few Gb free on the phone, all other apps working fine. I'm on my 3rd Z3 in a few months, it's done it on all of them, resetting the phone to factory settings does nothing after a few days.
I have the HTC One M8 (developer's edition). It was an unlocked AT&T phone but I am using it on Net 10. The data via wireless is fine. If I switch to mobile data I can use any of the android apps (Facebook, mail, etc), I can even use google search and get a results page.....BUT if I click on one of the links that shows up after a search......the page NEVER loads. The progress bar starts but then just stops. No error message. This happens in all browsers on all pages. I've tried alternate apn settings. It seems to happen only in LTE. If I disable LTE then it works fine but why should I have to settle for a slower connection. HTC says its a carrier issue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedLoading web pages ..especially on Howard Forums and sending emails is exceptionally slower than on my 3GS. I can't compare yet because I'm waiting for my sim adapter. I was impatient with my 3GS on occasion..but not enough to complain about. With the iPhone 4 the data connection just spins without any movement. Signal strength doesn't matter. Typically I have five bars and still painfully slow-even just sitting on a table without antenna interference.Anyone else have the same experience? I'm wondering if I have a defective device?

I just got my BB yesterday. It's the first one that I've had.So far, I'm not really impressed with it. I'm already having problems. I can't open my web browser. I know when I tried to open Slacker Radio the device said I didn't have enough battery power. But now I have it charging and I still can't open the browser

Every time I submit a URL, or click on a link pulled up by QuickSearch, I see the "Requesting" message at the bottom of the screen, but the webpage doesn't even begin loading, and after a minute or so, I get the message "Communication failure has occurred".I don't think this is a problem with my connection, because) I've had no problems calling or texting, and I'm able to use (and refresh) internet-dependent applications like Facebook, Yelp, etc) I get the "Communication failure" message regardless of whether I'm connected via Wifi or via the mobile network

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm a web developer wanting to debug web pages inside the Xoom web browser.I have a particular issue in which I have a page with a number of <select> lists, the first two lists allow me to choose values but the remaining lists do not - even though I know the lists contain values. I'm guessing that this could be a WebKit bug but am hoping there are some simple debug tools to assist me, similar to Google Chrome, but I have no idea where to find them. about:debug doesn't help much and view-source: doesn't work.
Have tried using Opera Mobile browser and the lists works without a problem and have tried Firefox but this was too buggy to test. Dolphin seems to exhibit the same issues as the default Xoom browser so I'm gessing it uses the same version of WebKit.Getting this working is a crucial part of my system and I do not want to recommend that the customer use iPads to get the most reliable web functionality. its been a month and still my blackberry bold 9700 internet is not working good.everytime when im using it , it'll work but if i didnt use it for awhile , it'll stop working . everytime i try to anysite, it'll be like loading but than it'll close the tab and put me back to homepage and bookmarks.everytime i have to restart my bb than i can use it again, maybe like everyday upto 10times i had 2 restart the fone which kills my battery very fast?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the big crash last week, although my email, messaging etc has been restored, my Internet browser is incredibly slow. It loads evcentually, but it is very time consuming and inefficient. Messaging is fine - general phone connectivity is ok as well. It isn't the network connection as I have been all over the place in the last few days and it has beenb the same wherever I am. It isn't my home internet as my PC and husband's phone (non BB) is browsing the Net without issue.I've cleared my history, cookies, cache, changed my browsing settings to untick images etc to try and speed things up but it is no better. Oddly the Facebook and Twitter Apps seem to be ok, but the actual browser facility seems to be defunct. I've done the soft reset, and even powered off and removed the battery over night.

He hasn't been able to download anything, such as app world. We also discovered that there is no internet browser besides web2go. When I tried to change his default browser to simply "internet browser", that was not an option; it was only web2go or hotspot browser. T-mobile is closed today b/c of holiday, so hopefully someone here can help me! Does anyone have any insight?

I currently have the original Blackberry Tour 9630 with Verizon, and the browser works off of my signal. So whenever I have a signal, I have internet. Is this new Bold the same way? My sister has it and we were in the car today and it said internet coverage was not found. I was just curious if it was strictly JUST wifi or if it runs off the signal AND wifi. If somebody could help clear it up for me that would be great.
