BB Curve :: 8520 Internet Browser Loading With Blank Screen
Jul 1, 2012
I have a Blackberry 8520, and every time I go and use the internet browser, it takes like 10 hours to load, and once it has loaded, the page is still blank! It's not a case of internet connection, because my apps work. So I don't know what to do, I've tried resetting, and it sometimes does the trick, but after a little it starts to not work anymore.
My 8520 browser has suddenly stopped loading Internet pages.
When ever I try and access the Internet or click a link, the Browser opens up says "requesting" and then "loading" - the Blue Bar starts to slowly load up at the bottom of the screen - and thats it, nothing else happensthe screen remains blank, the Blue bar loads up and ... nothing.
My Mobile plan allows me Internet 2G acess and I also have Wi-Fi - all of which has been working perfectly for 8 months until now.
Wi-Fi and 2G internet appears to work perfectly for my Twitter app and my Emails come thru fine too.
I just got my Blackberry Curve two weeks ago and it the browser doesn't load pages. The bar at the bottom looks like it has reached 100% but it never shows the webpage. My friend downloaded Opera Mini and it works fine. My email also works fine. I wanted to download an app and it didn't work either because I think it was using the brower to open a webpage.
When I try to go to a website, it simply says "loading" but the page never actually shows up. What I've tried so far: Battery pull; minor browser configuration changes (like changing the recognition from BlackBerry to Firefox); checking for updates. Blackberry Curve 8530 v5.0.0.654.
I'm having problems with the internet on my blackberry curve 8520. I'm still receiving emails and bbm is still working but my browser is not loading pages. The blue bar will load fully but the actual web page will never open - it's just stuck on the loading screen. I'm fairly sure I haven't changed any settings or anything but about a week ago it stopped opening the pages.
I recently unlocked my 8520 from t-mobile to at&t, i have the data plan with both providers. After i started using the 8520 on the at&t network i noticed that i cannot change my setting from hotspot browser to internet browser anymore which in turn i cannot use the data service with at&t that i am paying for. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.
Over the past two days I have not been able to access my brower (8520 curve), can someone please explain why? I can enter a www address but it just reads "loading", the little black box in the top right corner flashes then stops, disappears and nothing else happens. I end up closing it the browser down.
This morning I switched my blackberry on and it loaded to about 3 quarters of the bar and then froze, I've tried restarting it multiple times also tried taking the battery out and I'm having no luck.
I bought my curve 8520 about 5 months ago. And just yesterday when I tried rebooting it, it remains stuck on the boot loading screen. I tried battery pull, alt+shiftl+del, but all that happens is it getting stuck on the loading screen.I dont wanna format the phone memory as I dont have a backup of my contacts.
I made a change on my phone whilst trying to put a lock on some apps, then it said my phone had to 'reboot' so as it said i selected yes. My phone has a loading screen completly white with the clock in the middle, then after a while the screen goes black and a red light apears in the corner, then the white screen with the loading clock starts again!
I understand lots of people have had the same problem, but I just cannot find a solution which works for my Blackberry 8520!It has a white screen showing nothing, it boots once you put the battery in, and the only way to power it off is to take out the battery, I think it also keeps rebooting.I have replaced the screen - still white screen.I have re-installed the OS - still white screen
The internet on my Blackberry Curve 8520 has suddenly stopped working. Whenever I try to load a web page it appears as a white screen which says 'Loading' at the bottom, but never actually loads.I noticed it occured after I returned from abroad. Before my holiday I had turned roaming and data off but turned it back on when I was back in the UK - does this have anything to do with the internet not working? My internet provider is Orange.I've tried taking the battery out and it works for a few minutes but shortly stops again.
When I open internet, go to page to browse something, starts loading, the blue bar at the bottom looks its loading (however exceptionally slow) and gets to the end, but never actually loads the page. The version of my OS is 5.
My phone has never had this problem. I can still receive email and text, but when I try and access the internet via World Phone, the "loading" never completes.
when ever I try to enter a link (and/or any website, web search etc.) I get to a blank web page. only after I return to the previous page and retry accessing the website and loads properly.
I have iPhone 4S 64gb with latest version. I have very good experience with iPhone in past but right now I am facing problem like when I started my iPhone, apple logo displayed and then it hides, on the backend phone is working I am able to received phone calls. Some times screen turns on and work fine with no problem but now screen is not turning on.
For some reason I no longer have the status bar at the top of my browser screen. It used to be that I could see how I was connected with either the wifi symbol or the gprs symbol and I could also see the connection symbol (white square with 2 green squares). Im guessing that it could be a browser setting that needs changing but I cant find it.
As the subject sais, when I open the browser, the browser keeps searching the site, of keeps loading. I have been waiting for 10 minutes and on the screen I just keep an empty screen with (after more than 2 minutes) a full blue bar still "loading".I emptied the internet history and cache.A month or so ago I could open sites without any problem. Can it be that my mobile became slower by anything? Can I maybe verify if it has been hacked? Can it have something to do that I configured my e-mail?
I've had my 8530 for a little over a month, every once in awhile after I end a call the screen goes blank but when I use the track pad the screen comes back in sections. After I use the track pad to scroll upper left then upper right the bottom right and bottom left the screen is normal. Has anyone else had this issue?
I just recently have had a problem develop with my BB Torch. If I'm using the browser, or have apps that I look at that connect to the Internet, I have parts of the screen that are blank. I can read some text, but if I scroll down about two or three inches, there will be about an inch of white blank space. It doesn't happen with my Facebook app, Gasbuddy.com, but it does happen with ESPN, CNN, Washington Post -- anything that connects straight to the Internet as opposed to going through an app.
I'm having aproblem with the BB browser, when I try to open a webpage it never finish loading the page I can see the "loading" bar moving but it never shows the pagef I reboot my Curve 8520, it starts working again but after a couole of pages, I have the same problem again.
I have had this phone for 3+ years and about a month ago the browser just stopped working. I mean it requests a URL and looks like it starts to load but then just loops on loading. Everything else (testing, email) all work fine. No page ever loads.
My browser stopped working - every time i try to go to a website, the browser screen remains white and says "loading" on the bar at the bottom, although the bar does not fill up. All of my other internet programs are working, email, apps, etc.
My Phone stopped browsing what should I do? Every time I click a link to browse it just goes through the loading process and then remains stuck with the message "loading".
I bought BB 8900 from T-Mobile without bb plan a few days ago. How can I get BlackBerry browser or Internet Browser, because my bb has only hotspot browser? Can I get them without bb plan?
I have had the curve for a few weeks now. At first i changed the settings of the browser to "hotspot" so i could use it with wifi. It was working really well, then all of a sudden it stopped durin browsing. The phone says the wifi connection is fine, but whenever i go to the broswer and try to go to a website it just says loading at the bottom and nothing happens.
Can anyone help with this? should i restart the phone setting somehow because i might have done changed some setting during browsing without realising or is this an actual issue with the phone?
About a week ago I did a battery pull on my Curve, the phone "started up" but got stuck on the loading Bar about 70% into the process. My Desktop Manager does not recognize the phone, so unable to do a software update.
I was just using whatsapp before this and it was going very slow and then when i would click on whatsapp, there would be a message saying uncaught exception or something like that so then i pulled the battery out and it never started properly after that but would just load the bar about 2/3 of the way and then stop.i've tried charging it, it was fully charged before though and i've left it out the whole night and it still isn't working? its a Curve 8520 with OS v.5
I just had this bb since december, and it was working fine a few days, then it started giving me a message after booting up: Uncaught Exception 3>3 or something like that, I pressed ok the first time it happened so I didn't mind about it. Then a few days ago, my phone fell over my bed, and turned off by itself, I tried pulling the battery out and it wasn't turning on at all at first, then it turned on and the typical booting process: Red led> Blackberry logo on screen and below the grey bar loading, which only loads until like 3/4 of it. This has been happening for like a month.. the keyboard seems to be working. I've tried with another battery. It doesn't connect to Desktop Manager, jl_Commander or BBSAK.. nothing works, I've tried wiping it with jl_commander and it doesn't connect to the device.. I've tried with other computers, I've tried with other cables.
