About a week ago I did a battery pull on my Curve, the phone "started up" but got stuck on the loading Bar about 70% into the process. My Desktop Manager does not recognize the phone, so unable to do a software update.

I tried battery pull, alt+shiftl+del, but all that happens is it getting stuck on the loading screen.I dont wanna format the phone memory as I dont have a backup of my contacts.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just had this bb since december, and it was working fine a few days, then it started giving me a message after booting up: Uncaught Exception 3>3 or something like that, I pressed ok the first time it happened so I didn't mind about it. Then a few days ago, my phone fell over my bed, and turned off by itself, I tried pulling the battery out and it wasn't turning on at all at first, then it turned on and the typical booting process: Red led> Blackberry logo on screen and below the grey bar loading, which only loads until like 3/4 of it. This has been happening for like a month.. the keyboard seems to be working. I've tried with another battery. It doesn't connect to Desktop Manager, jl_Commander or BBSAK.. nothing works, I've tried wiping it with jl_commander and it doesn't connect to the device.. I've tried with other computers, I've tried with other cables.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just updated all the applications and such on my blackberry via blackberry desktop software, and when the phone turned on, it asked me if I wanted to update the email application. I said yes, as I have been having problems with it, and it asked me if I wanted to proceed, even if the update may cause issues with my email. Of course, assuming nothing would happened, I clicked yes, the app was downloaded, and my phone asked if I wanted to restart now or later. I chose now, however, when restarting, the blackberry screen comes up, the little bar fills up to the end with white, but nothing happens afterwards.
I have tried removing the battery several times, connecting it to my laptop, etc. but nothing works! My phone is still stuck
I turned off my blackberry this morning and then removed the battery, replaced the battery and the phone began to reboot. It has been stuck on the screen that says BlackBerry with the loading bar at the bottom about 3/4 of the way loaded for about 45 minutes. I tried rebooting it a few times at first but it kept stopping at the same point in the loading bar, about 3/4 of the way.

My friend downloaded Opera Mini and it works fine. My email also works fine. I wanted to download an app and it didn't work either because I think it was using the brower to open a webpage.

My phone has a loading screen completly white with the clock in the middle, then after a while the screen goes black and a red light apears in the corner, then the white screen with the loading clock starts again!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my Curve 8520. This morning I received an update notification for the T Mobile app, so I upgraded in the usual way. The device then needed rebooting, so I clicked "Reboot now". The white bar that loads on the start up screen will not proceed further than about 3/4 of the way along. I have tried removing and reinserting the battery. I have tried holding the escape key while it loads up. I have also tried both of those while its plugged into the charger as well. Been trying for about 4 hours now to get the phone to restart, but with no success.

The blue bar will load fully but the actual web page will never open - it's just stuck on the loading screen. I'm fairly sure I haven't changed any settings or anything but about a week ago it stopped opening the pages.

It's not a case of internet connection, because my apps work. So I don't know what to do, I've tried resetting, and it sometimes does the trick, but after a little it starts to not work anymore.

When ever I try and access the Internet or click a link, the Browser opens up says "requesting" and then "loading" - the Blue Bar starts to slowly load up at the bottom of the screen - and thats it, nothing else happensthe screen remains blank, the Blue bar loads up and ... nothing.
My Mobile plan allows me Internet 2G acess and I also have Wi-Fi - all of which has been working perfectly for 8 months until now.
Wi-Fi and 2G internet appears to work perfectly for my Twitter app and my Emails come thru fine too.
How can I get the same effect as a battery pull with out actually doing it or loading an app? I have tried the QuickPull app and it IS NOT WORKING. I can get it to download but it wont run. I know there has to be some quick way to do it. I have an otterbox defender case on it and its a pain to take it off.

I checked for damage today & it appears to be working fine, apart from the fact that it's stuck in alt mode.Any suggestions on how I can get it out of alt mode? The button doesn't appear to be stuck. The 'alt' icon in the corner changes to '123' when I select the left shift button, but when deselected it changes back to alt mode.I've done a few battery pulls, removed all third party applications & re-installed its OS. To be able to type normally with letters I have to either hold down the 'return/back' button, 'X' 'V' or 'B' button, or the '$' button. Whilst holding these I can select whether I want 'alt' or not, but then it returns when I let go anyway
