View 1 Replies View RelatedA few days ago my phone froze (as usual) so l pulled out the battery so it would reboot and that'd fix the problem, right? BUT, after waiting almost 3 hours i got NOTHING. I gave it all night to finish loading but doesn't go further than "blackb-", the last part (-erry) just wont load Obviously Desktop Software doesn't detect the phone when i connect it via USB so i can't back up my files.
View 1 Replies View RelatedPhone has never done this before bt it won't complete the progress bar before it switches on, I tried taking the bat out and back in bt pauses on the same place and does not continue to complete the main screen can someone assist please, when I charge it does show the red light that its on its just the bar won't complete to load

View 2 Replies View RelatedAbout a week ago I did a battery pull on my Curve, the phone "started up" but got stuck on the loading Bar about 70% into the process. My Desktop Manager does not recognize the phone, so unable to do a software update.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAnd next to that,, may be the answer to my problem is already on this forum, I'm sorry for that too, I've searched and searched, but no (working) answer, I hope if this is the case you can kindly redirect me. I hope you'll forgive me for this.
Having said this: Today I wanted to install another browser (Opera for BB), since I don't have (and need) a BIS/BES account I installed the program through the Desktop Manager (6.1). It worked ok, but the installation seemed to be hanging. The DM was waiting for the divice to reboot I guess? My phone at that point wasn't doing anything. Only a red LED was blinking?
Now, I did something stupid may be. The DM and my phone were already for quite some time in this state. But I HAD TO leave, so I disconnected. In the assumption that my phone could be turned on...I pressed the button to get it on...nothing (of course), removing the battery and putting it back....nothing. Only the red LED light blinking four times in intervals.
After some searching on different forums, I understand that my phone cannot reboot, probably because the OS is now messed up.I've tried to install an update. When connecting my phone to the computer by USB cable, both the Device Manager and the Desktop Manager recognize my phone. The DM detects a connection problem and offers to update the software of my phone. My hapiness (this might actually work!!) was diminished when the installationprocess was canceled, because (SURPRISE!) it couldn't connect to my phone to install the update properly.
Update: I also tried this: www.blackberryvsiphone.com/blackberry-troubleshooting/how-to-restore-a-dead-blackberry . But no luck there, It didn't produce a working BB.
Update2: Tried it second time, left the phone for a whole night...nothing! I'm seriously considering throwing the BB out of the window...
More constructively: what to do? Turn to BB website and the support forum for help. I really don't know where to begin..
My bb curve 8520 went dead due to low battery and now its not turning on. I have charged for more then an hour now.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was just using whatsapp before this and it was going very slow and then when i would click on whatsapp, there would be a message saying uncaught exception or something like that so then i pulled the battery out and it never started properly after that but would just load the bar about 2/3 of the way and then stop.i've tried charging it, it was fully charged before though and i've left it out the whole night and it still isn't working? its a Curve 8520 with OS v.5

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my Blackberry Curve two weeks ago and it the browser doesn't load pages. The bar at the bottom looks like it has reached 100% but it never shows the webpage. My friend downloaded Opera Mini and it works fine. My email also works fine. I wanted to download an app and it didn't work either because I think it was using the brower to open a webpage.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI just had this bb since december, and it was working fine a few days, then it started giving me a message after booting up: Uncaught Exception 3>3 or something like that, I pressed ok the first time it happened so I didn't mind about it. Then a few days ago, my phone fell over my bed, and turned off by itself, I tried pulling the battery out and it wasn't turning on at all at first, then it turned on and the typical booting process: Red led> Blackberry logo on screen and below the grey bar loading, which only loads until like 3/4 of it. This has been happening for like a month.. the keyboard seems to be working. I've tried with another battery. It doesn't connect to Desktop Manager, jl_Commander or BBSAK.. nothing works, I've tried wiping it with jl_commander and it doesn't connect to the device.. I've tried with other computers, I've tried with other cables.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI made a change on my phone whilst trying to put a lock on some apps, then it said my phone had to 'reboot' so as it said i selected yes. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my Curve 8520. This morning I received an update notification for the T Mobile app, so I upgraded in the usual way. The device then needed rebooting, so I clicked "Reboot now". The white bar that loads on the start up screen will not proceed further than about 3/4 of the way along. I have tried removing and reinserting the battery. I have tried holding the escape key while it loads up. I have also tried both of those while its plugged into the charger as well. Been trying for about 4 hours now to get the phone to restart, but with no success.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with the internet on my blackberry curve 8520. I'm still receiving emails and bbm is still working but my browser is not loading pages. The blue bar will load fully but the actual web page will never open - it's just stuck on the loading screen. I'm fairly sure I haven't changed any settings or anything but about a week ago it stopped opening the pages.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry 8520, and every time I go and use the internet browser, it takes like 10 hours to load, and once it has loaded, the page is still blank! It's not a case of internet connection, because my apps work. So I don't know what to do, I've tried resetting, and it sometimes does the trick, but after a little it starts to not work anymore.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy 8520 browser has suddenly stopped loading Internet pages.
When ever I try and access the Internet or click a link, the Browser opens up says "requesting" and then "loading" - the Blue Bar starts to slowly load up at the bottom of the screen - and thats it, nothing else happensthe screen remains blank, the Blue bar loads up and ... nothing.
My Mobile plan allows me Internet 2G acess and I also have Wi-Fi - all of which has been working perfectly for 8 months until now.
Wi-Fi and 2G internet appears to work perfectly for my Twitter app and my Emails come thru fine too.
How can I get the same effect as a battery pull with out actually doing it or loading an app? I have tried the QuickPull app and it IS NOT WORKING. I can get it to download but it wont run. I know there has to be some quick way to do it. I have an otterbox defender case on it and its a pain to take it off.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 8900. Couple of days back, I left it for charging. In an hour time when I rechecked, there was some issue with display, as it was getting distorted. Post this I did a battery pull. Post that when I restarted, there was a complete white screen, nothing else. The phone is booting up, and calls are coming, (as it is vibrating and ringing, and you can pick call), but the screen is completely white, you cannot see anything else, it is completely white.
I did a complete wipe, and reinstalled the OS(OS version 5), but still it is only showing complete white screen.

It happened once right after i fully charged my phone and it shut off within the next hour.Anyone knows whats happening?? i suspected whether it was any of my installed apps that are draining my batt, so i shut off everything! i mean no msn no foursquare no twitter only emails are on but yet it still happens!!Help please? i hope its just the batt thats screwed not my phone.
