My BB Curve 8520 is not rebooting. The Loading Line stops half way.. and nothing happend after that.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've got a BB9700, Bold 2.At home, Outlook, it syncs happily. At work, with Lotus Notes, it crashed when "updating the devide calendar". There was no issue a few months ago doing exactly the same thing.I'm not sure if it's related, but for some stupid reason I installed Facebook and accidently got the calendar to sync with facebook. I have now removed all entries for the Facebook calendar and al the Service book for Facebook calendar, so it now doesn't appear anywhere.
Facebook is blocked by works firewall, so I therefore assumed that was the problem, hence deleting all my calendar entries associated to Facebook.I've tried syncing with both Bluetooth and the cable.
I duly upgraded to Blackberry Desktop Software 6 when notified by automatic update check. Unfortunately, I had to downgrade back to 5.0.1 as I could not complete Organizer synchronization - I kept getting an error message saying that an unknown error had occurred. There didn't seem to be any log files I could look at to see what might be causing the problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to sync my BB with my desktop software. I was advised the only way i could get music on my BB was to take the memory card out the phone use an adapter to put music on then put the memory card back in BB.
Surely when i connect my BB to my laptop with the desktop software on it, i should be able to see the music and pictures that are on my phone, or should i not??
I have gone into the options menu on the screen and had a look at my memory, and it is telling me "Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is properly inserted, formatted and not corrupted".
I have also made sure that Mass Storage support is on, along with Media Card Support, but i still cant see anything.
I recently readded the newest version of Desktop Manager and am using the Blackberry Curve 3G. I have Windows Vista operating system and every time I try to use Intellisync to sync my Yahoo Address book with the device the program stops working. What am I doing wrong? I've tried to uninstall Desktop Manager and reinstall and it keeps happening.

I have removed all of the pictures from the contacts on outlook but the error message still appears.
I have uncheck the picture and attachment fields in the DM but the error message still appears.
I cannot sync my Outlook calendar when using BB desktop Manager. I get a error message pop up window saying "Intellisync" "Connector error" The the synchronization is cancelled.
I am on a personal contract and this is not connected through BB enterprise. My e-mail accounts are fine and I get these on my BB
I'm a newbie in here and need help. So, to keep a long story....long. Recently Dell recalled my hard drive and sent out a new one. Previously I was running XP Pro/Outllook '03/with an 8820 and BB Desktop 4.6 flawlessly. Now, with the new hard drive I am running Vista Business (32bit)/Outlook '03/with a brand new Bold 9700 (T Mobile) and BB Desktop 5.0.1. I am unable to setup intellisync with outlook. When setting up sync, I get through all the motions and get a "Runtime error", "Unable to find system in table file". I searched all over the internet and did everything that I could find for this to no avail. I reset the connection in dos per the tech guide on here, it didn't work. I did the clean install with removing registry entries (with all available BB Desktop versions, 4.6 - 5.01) none worked. I need to be able to sync my contacts and calendar! Is there a BB tech line number?

I received error message 0x80043ade when trying to sync my Bold 9700 with my Acer Aspire 6920, running Windows Vista and the latest Java 6.20.Anybody out there had the same problem.The desktop software recognised my Blaxkberry and ran a data backup before I tried to run Intellisync.

Once the new server and firewall were up and running, I needed a new user profile on my PC. After doing this, I can no longer sync my Blackberry Tour. Desktop Manager recognizes the device, but every time I hit the sync button I get an "unknown error" message.

I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.
When I start the Media Sync program on my XP machine I immediately get a pop up that says the program has encountered an error and needs to close. It is the most recent version. This problem seems to not to be affected by whether or not Media Sync is started alone or through the Desktop manager.
However, the program opens, and acts like it is running anyway. (Just ignore the pop up.) A week ago, it was seeing my iTunes library and I could use it to put music from a playlist onto my Tour. Now, however, it does not see the iTunes library/playlist. It says it my library contains no songs. Sometimes, multiple attempts to start it it, it will see them, but then I cannot click the boxes that allow me to choose the playlist to sync them to the BB.

I can never get my organizer to allow sync of my contacts...the check box is inaccessible and it states "Not Installed".

I receive an Intellisync "unknow error" dialog box and the sync completely shuts down. Can't change any of the configuration settings as well. Receive the same "unknown error".

I recently changes jobs and put my new information into my phone and I am now working from home so I have never needed this before. my email is sending and receiving no problem, my calendar is syncing perfectly but my contacts will not sync. the sync process seems to work from the software (it goes thru the motions) but when I look in outlook, no contactsI have looked around the net for possible solution and even tried most of the things I've seen...to no avail. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been using my Blackberry Curve 8320 as an IP modem using the latest update of the Desktop Manager. I have t-Mobile. Yesterday while my laptop was connected thru the BB IP modem, the USB tether was disconnected. Now I cannot connect using the IP modem feature. I get error messages that say the remote server does not respond (original message), there is a hardware error (current message), plus my wireless carrier may have turned off the service and to check my profiles to make sure my radio is on. I contacted T-Mobile and they indicated the service had not been turned off. My profiles appear to be accurate and my radio is on. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get my IP modem working again?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using DM6 for the last week or so and am very disappointed. It does not seem to remember the last time that I synced or backed up. The only time it remembers is the first time I synced my BB with it. Not such a big issue for syncing, but I like my BB to backup weekly...so once a week has passed after the first sync, it wants to back up every time.
DM 5.0.1 worked flawlessly, but since I am using Outlook 2010, I can't go back.Come on RIM, you can do better than this.Any suggestions on how to get DM to remember when it actually backed up or synced?

Recently I upgraded my Desktop Manager to Version 6.0.0.40 and now I can't transfer media files to my Curve 8330.One thing I tried was to update my device OS to 4.5.0.175, this did not work.The DM shows that Media Options are not available,that I have to trun on mass storage mode from the device.Under the options menu on my 8330, I open Media Card and sure enough Media Card Support is On, Mass Storage Support is On, and Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode is On (I've tried when I switch to Prompt, but that did not work either).I've removed the media card, reinserted it, reformatted it, made sure it was recognized by my device (it is), so obviously the problem is with the Desktop Manager. With previous versions, I had no problems with Media Sync, only with the new DM version. The DM will recognize my device when plugged in via USB and I can sync my Organizer with no issues.What else can I try to get my DM - Media Sync to work with my 8330?
When setting up the desktop software to sync with BB, a stage is reached asking for a source to be selected (Yahoo / Outlook / none / etc). As I am working with Outlook only, if I could I would select this for each, but it only appears as an option for 'Contacts'. For some reason Outlook is not offered as an option for either calendar or tasks. What is more odd is that I have successfully used the same BB and PC in the past with the Desktop software, but for some reason it just stopped working. I have tried removing and reinstalling both v5 and v6 without success. I suspect the problem might be the phone rather than the software - but heh, what do I know!

When I sync my BB using desktop manager the time zone re-sets itself from GMT Dublin London time to Eniwetok-12 gmt ( I don't even know were Eniwetok is) . Here's some of the settings and systems information. On the Blackberry under Date and Time the update time is set to automatic, time zone- 12 hour-auto update. On the Desktop Software I have all the default settings to standard 2 way sync default with Microsoft Outlook 2007. The time zone on my computer is GMT London Dublin. I am running on Windows 7 - 64 bit.

I can load one-way from the computer to the BB, but not the other way. I may have a corrupt address, but haven't been able to get it all to work. What do I do to stop this?
