i have had this problem for the longest time and no one seems to be able to help. My gmail mails disappear from my handset after 1 month ( i've indicated 'keep mails forever' under the settings). I hv sufficient memory on device (110450854 bytes).

I've read alot of boards and forums but i still didnt find an answer to the question: "Is it possible to get mails from accounts which are not from google or yahoo etc"? I have an own online shop/domain and therefore my mail-adress is something like info@<myshopdomain>.com I'm currently using Thunderbird on my Laptop to get and send mails via pop3/smtp.So is it possible to have access to mails via a pop3 and send mails via smtp on a Blackberry 9700 Bold?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMany of my gmail messages like ads are automatically archived. Since I have my new bold 9900, these mails are not deleted from my inbox folder. My inbox Is polluated by many messages that are already archived. Consequence : I don't use anymore m bby for gmail, I use m iPad. If I open an already archived message, this one desapeare from my inbox as soon as I close it. I did not have the pb on my old devices (9000, 9800, 9700).

They usually disappear within about 45 minutes of receiving them. I've done a hard reset and I have about 160 MB of memory free but it still keeps happening. I use Outlook to check my email but this happens even if my computer is off so Outlook isn't running.

1.When i delete any mails from my gmail inbox folder it's going into to delete folder.After Deleting the mails from the delete folder or empty the delete folder when i do syncronise then again the same mails are geting in the inbox and all mails folder.This is the issue i want to get solved?

I got an X10 and its all interresting and exciting: Next to the little flaws (like sorting contacts not by surname) I am happy with it. But there is this odd problem. If I send a mail from my GMail it looks like stuck in the outbox, allthough it gets sent.

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I have been getting a problem with my 9700 Blackberry. When I make or receive calls, I can not hear anything out of my handset. The person on the other line can hear fine (Usually with me going Hello Hello a million times!) The only time I can hear anything is when I have my bluetooth on or switching it to speakerphone.
I tried doing the soft reset (battery pull when the phone was still on) ...still nothing. Although it did work a couple of times. Its on and off, but recently the situation has gone from bad to worse.Anyone out there with the 9700 with the same issue? It's really annoying and I do use the phone a lot for important calls.
When I delete aol mail from blackberry 8530i, handheld and mailbox, it REALLY gets deleted. It doesn't go into the aol "Trash" folder, it just disappears altogether, like it never existed, and does not appear from my PC.

I don't know if my thread title makes sense but basically what I would like to know is what are the advantages of downloading the Gmail app vs just setting up a Gmail account through my BIS (Email Settings/Add Account)? My main objective here is wireless contacts sync. I have read a lot of negative feedback regarding Gmail on a BlackBerry but I will not really even be using this for email all to often, although I will from time to time.
What I have done is just added my new Gmail account through the native BlackBerry email setup and then downloaded Google Sync. I downloaded the Gmail app but I didn't really like the UI and I like to have all 3 of my email accounts go into the same folder.
Can receive messages on my Bold 9900, but when sending mail,I get a RED X with the message status:Transaction error - failure at service. Also had this problem with an earlier version of the Bold handset.

Suddenly since a month I stopped getting incoming mails and getting only outgoing mails.I checked with my office IT person too and got a reply saying that things are fine from their place. So this seems to be either service problem or Blackberry problem. I walked into my service provider exclusive blackberry showroom and showed the handset, he too tried a lot and failed bouncing back its my office IT problem.

If I re install it comes back. It was there this morning, but this afternoon it was gone. There were no reboots at all. This is kind of getting annoying. I don't know what to do.

My phone is only storing abnout a weeks emails. I've never had it set to delete or only show so many eamils.Is it deleting them or just displaying only so many? On my old 8520 it had emails going back over a year!

I have following three mail accounts configured with my device;
1) Enterprise/ Office Mail ID (Folder Named as Desktop)
2) Yahoo Mail ID (Folder Named as Yahoo)
3) GMail ID (Folder Named as GMail)
Now in the Messages, Yahoo & SMS Folders; I am only able to view the mails from office mail id. The Messages folder which ideally comprise of messages from all the folders shows only the messages of the Desktop. Similarly for the Yahoo Folder. I am even not able to view my SMS in the SMS & MMS Folder.
How can I delete multiple mails in a folder in 1 single operation?

View 5 Replies View RelatedOn my Blackberry bold 9000 since last night (approximately) I have not been receiving e-mails however I am still able to send e-mails.On the diagnostics check everything came back as yes apart from connected to e-mail, however this is the first time this has happened and I have confirmed that I have entered the correct log in details. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening as I would have thought that if I wasn't connected to my e-mail account that I would not have been able to send e-mails?
