In my neo v, gmail is not showing new mails in notification bar but email notification is enabled in gmail settings. Checked after mecafee uninstallaed, still facing the same issue..

Somewhere along the way I lost the "Reply, Delete" and body of messages in my notification window(just have a single height notification). I've uninstalled anything notification related, and reset Gmail back to factory, but haven't had any luck.

I've just had a small update to my Z3 and the status bar has reverted to a blue colour rather than the transparent that it usually is. It only occurs when using the Google Now Launcher, and is fine using the Xperia one..

Making that aside, i must say i found it odd that, when using the SE Pc companion software to update my android build from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 the Supportzone says my mobile is already up to date, when it is clearly showing an outdated build and kernel ( 4.0.A.2.377) how can i get my mobile to be up to date?P.S from time to time i notice the flicker when the light sensor senses a decrease on light, but its barely noticeable.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've set my gmail account as the default mail-account on my x10 mini pro, but the phone doesn't seem to reteive the mails automatically. I thought that when I set the sync-schedule to once an hour, then the phone would check my gmailaccount for new mails and notify me. I've tested this and the only time I get a notification is when I manually tell the phones mail-client to sync. Am I just a stupid user that donät know how to work the phone, or do I have to set up a sync-schedule for gmail?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got the Z2 after struggling for a while with an ageing and annoying phone, and in general I'm pretty happy with it.
But I have a problem with gmail notifications, and it's hard to find info on this on the web because it just turns up a lot of stuff about the notification sounds, which is not my issue.
I have three gmail accounts, two private and one for work. With all my previous phones, when I had mail incoming, I'd get one notification icon in the status bar per account. So if I had unread mail in all three accounts, I'd three gmail icons in the notification bar.
The Z2 seems to lump them all together, and I only get one single icon regardless of how many accounts have unread email. I find this quite annoying and not something I expected at ALL. (Even my first very crummy internet-capable phone did multiple notifications.) Is this a bug, or is there a way to change a setting?
Everything is working fine with Nokia Messaging.The two things i would not able to figureout till now are:
1.When i delete any mails from my gmail inbox folder it's going into to delete folder.After Deleting the mails from the delete folder or empty the delete folder when i do syncronise then again the same mails are geting in the inbox and all mails folder.This is the issue i want to get solved?
2.I want all the mails which are there in my Gmail All Mails folder.How to get this?

View 7 Replies View RelatedMany of my gmail messages like ads are automatically archived. Since I have my new bold 9900, these mails are not deleted from my inbox folder. My inbox Is polluated by many messages that are already archived. Consequence : I don't use anymore m bby for gmail, I use m iPad. If I open an already archived message, this one desapeare from my inbox as soon as I close it. I did not have the pb on my old devices (9000, 9800, 9700).

I had checked cannot the filter also even if one can change it cannot be saved for further use. Please check, I have OS 6.0 bundle 2949 on my Bold 9780 with Airtel as service provider.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm not receiving any notification of voice-mails.People leave me voicemails, but the Tour doesn't notify me of them. I do not have visual voice mail -- this is just plain ol' voicemail. I don't get texts notifying me of VM, either, but I'm not sure I'm set up to receive text notifications, so I'm less concerned about that.
I've been notified before that there is a new voicemail for me, and after that there was a little icon up near the email and text message icons until I listened to it. I don't get either of these any longer -- not the big notification or even the little icon with the number beside it. I don't know exactly when or why these have stopped.How can I get VM notifications back?
I have the GS2, in the social hub my home emails appear, it is displaying I have 16 unread mails, I cannot find any unread emails anywhere! when new mail appears that total goes up to say 23, I open 7 and it goes back to 16 again!!

1. Is there any way to make the status/notification bar transparent on my HTC One?
I installed the apex launcher which allows me to hide the status bar entirely but I find that a bit annoying because I like to see the information on my notification bar at all times (i.e. time, connection). I just want the black strip to be transparent.
2. I just found out that there is an update to the software (4.3) and I'm currently on 4.1.2. If I install the update, will everything on my phone reset? Will I lose the layout of my icons with the apex launcher or Sense?
3. I've seen alot of people complain about 4.3 for various bugs. Do Androids receive fixes to such bugs quickly? My concern is that if I do update, I don't want to be on a buggy system for too long.
I have rooted, de-bloated, and installed an LED notification manager, which has made my phone nearly perfect. The only lagging issue is the overly busy Status/Notification bar and drop-down. Things I would like to change:
Status Bar
- remove AM/PM from the clock
- remove NFC icon when active
- change battery status to something that takes up less space, the default is icon AND percentage. I'd ideally love to use the Circle Battery Mod.
Drop Down
- remove the brightness slider
- remove the "s finder" and "quick connect" buttons.
I would like something to add icons to my status bar for when i have email etc. Nothing fancy, nice and simple but retina icons would be nice. Any recommendations?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Atrix generation 1 the day it came out and haven't had this problem so this is throwing me off.What I need fixed:
1. When my phone is connected to the computer via USB, it charges but the computer doesn't recognize anything is connected (tried all 3 USB ports). If the computer doesn't recognize it or something is wrong with the cable/ports - it shouldn't charge, right?
2. On my phones status bar - the USB connection options wont show up. I've tried the USB debugging on/off method but I get nothing. The only time anything connection related shows up on my status bar is when I'm connected via Motorola Portal via wifi. Can't transfer music etc with portal though.What I have:
1. I use windows 7 on my laptop.
2. I already tried the factory reset.
3. I have the latest updates on my phone.
4. I already sent it to motorola and just got it back as a clean slate.
What I did but when I swipe the status bar down nothing happens and if I hit the button on the left bottom side near the home button to close open tasks, it doesn't work either. I restarted the phone and shut it off for a few minutes, neither worked. What did I do and how do I fix it?

Anyway the problem I have is Facebook and Whatsapp do NOT show the number of notifications on Icon only in the status bar. Here's a couple of screen captures to show you what I mean.
I have a bold 9000 thru ATT. For the last 2 months, many people who have sent me emails get this notification that the email couldn't be delivered. I have received the email and some of the emails are several months old! All the emails come from postmaster@att.blackberry.net.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI tried Lollipop for a loooong time and now I'm sick and tired. I downgraded to 4.4.4 but I have a persistent notification in the status bar saying that the new system update to android 5.0.1 is available. But I don't want it!
Is there a way to disable that notification? It is very anoying. I tried to download FOTAkill.apk and put it in system/apps with rw--r-r- permissions but doesn't work. I know that the simplest solution is to install a custom rom but I am very happy with stock rooted + xposed + modules.
This started to happen today. i have to swipe down form the top to see the clock and notification status bar. I can't find the setting to toggle this.
