Jun 26, 2015I am using Z3 dual. In my notification bar, it shows that "dictionary update information ", it shows from morning to night. Not goes off by any means.

I would like to have weather information displayed in my notification panel, but I cannot find the setting/switch to turn it on. On my friends' iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 devices, it displays as normal just below the date, and when one friend activated her newly purchased iPhone 5s, she was asked if she would like the information to be displayed..

Apr 26, 2012Yesterday I updated my Neo V to ICS, everything looks to work fine except for the Music Player.The music files are present in the device but the album art is not showing. I've checked the files transferring some to my PC and Windows Media Play shows the art. Tried to sync with Media Go and even erased a full album and transferred it againg to the phone with no succes.

Sep 22, 2010I must say this Gingerbread update looks quite nice, and I'm liking it as far as I've been using it for the past hours.I had the media problem earlier in the day, wasn't really able to fix it until it went off without me noticing.All I did was go Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All and then clear data to everything with "media that I could find.I don't know if that was what made the error screen to go away, but all my songs and pictures are available to me now.Now, there is still something that I need to understand...My notification ringtones for SMS are all gone, all I can do is choose between "Android System" which limits me to "default ringtone, silent or Facebook Pop" or SoundPicker which leads me to my songs.Where did all the SMS ringtones go? Is there any way to download them or something? I've been looking around for a while, and still no clue where to find a good one (the usual Sony Ericsson ringtone isn't available to me either)

Jun 4, 2012I just recently noticed that the notification LED would no longer work or blink if there is an incoming message or missed call IF THE SCREEN IS OFF. I am confused since the it will work if the screen is on (which is the opposite before the update).Before I got the update, the notification LED works as it should. This is clearly a bug, and needs to be fixed. It isn't something that can disable the total functionality of Xperia Ray users?

Sep 25, 2011Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i); I upgrade to ICS (4.0.4), Build Number: 4.1.B.0.431. After that Notification LED is not working for MISSED call, SMS Alert etc. when screen is OFF. However, it is working for Charging and E-mail (using K9). Checked in Service Menu and all the LED are working fine.
All the LEDs were working when using Gingerbread (2.3). Only after upgrading to ICS it is not working. Is this an issue with ICS?

Aug 10, 2011I did the update through PC Companion the other day and am now running Android 2.3.3.
Ever since i did the update i get no notification whatsoever when I get a text message. Nothing in the bar at the top of the screen, no noise no vibration. Nothing.
The only time the phone acknowledges a new etxt at all is when I actively go into the Messaging app. Once I am in I then get the icon at the top of the screen but still no notification sound. I have looked at all the settings I can find and have also done a repair, again through PC Companion. Nothing has helped.
NOTE: Ringtone for incoming calls is fine. And I also get notifications as normal for messages coming through Talk. I also get no notification when I plug my phone into the PC like I did before.

My problem right now is probably more related to the software from Android, than from Sony 'but' I had a software update a couple of days ago, which apparently completely wiped the automatic dictionary (it's called "my words" in Danish, not sure in English if it's called something else but it normally automatically adds words I use a lot) which was a bummer but I've seen it before. The problem is that now I can't 'manually' add any words, and it's also not adding a single word even though some of the words I use in almost every single message I write!! I can't just have it learn from my text messages or Gmail, as I don't use either - I almost only use Facebook and Hotmail.

I use telkomsel as the telco provideri update around December 2011 (?) to 4.0.2.A.0.58.In February this year or close to that, there is a permanent notification to update the FW to x.x.062. because i don't have time yet, I just let it stay that way. end february I went to US and will stay here in US until next april.for cost reason in US I used AT&T.after using AT&T for awhile, i just realized that the update notification is gone, i try to check trough setting> about phone> software update.and it say my phone is up to date. my guess is the x.x.062 is not yet approved by AT&T or something like that.my question is this: "will the notification update show up again when I'm back in Indonesia and switch the SIM card to my previous telco provider; Telkomsel?i'm only interested to update the phone back in Indonesia, just to make sure i'm not messing with anything.
