Dec 13, 2011So, where is the option to edit user dictionary entries for the Xperia Keyboard? I can't find them. Misspelled words get added, no way to get rid of them. Boo.

My problem right now is probably more related to the software from Android, than from Sony 'but' I had a software update a couple of days ago, which apparently completely wiped the automatic dictionary (it's called "my words" in Danish, not sure in English if it's called something else but it normally automatically adds words I use a lot) which was a bummer but I've seen it before. The problem is that now I can't 'manually' add any words, and it's also not adding a single word even though some of the words I use in almost every single message I write!! I can't just have it learn from my text messages or Gmail, as I don't use either - I almost only use Facebook and Hotmail.

Oct 29, 2011I'm using an Xperia Pro running the latest 2.3.4 release (4.0.2.A.0.58) and have two problems with the user dictionary for text-input. I notice that if I manually add words to the user dictionary (through the settings menu -> Language & keyboard -> User dictionary -> add), then these words do not appear in the as word suggestions when I am typing. I have my setting set to the default of "substitute letters only" for the slide-out and "automatically correct words" for the on-screen keyboard. Secondly, the automatic word suggestion feature often repeatedly suggests old spelling mistakes to me which is quite annoying. I would like a feature where I can also view, edit and delete words which have been automatically added to the automatic dictionary.

Jun 19, 2012Using iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 3GS. I was browsing through my pictures in the photo album and noticed the edit feature, I wasn't sure what the buttons at the bottom were for so I clicked the red circle and realized it is the red eye edit tool. But it took me to a full screen of the picture and tells me to click on the red eyes and to click twice to undo, but after lots of clicking I can't seem to get the screen to go back to my normal photo album. How do I close this feature? I can access my camera roll through the camera but not through the photo album. Even after hitting my home key and trying to get back in it still takes me to the picture that is in edit mode.

May 10, 2011Recently I cannot edit any contact on the phone (Xperia Mini Pro) - whenever I want to edit a contact the RoadSync opens and gives the following message: "This is not a RoadSync contact. RoadSync cannot edit this contact" Of course it is not a RoadSync contact because there are no RoadSync contacts in my telephone (although, I do use RoadSync). How can I get rid of the message and allow the telephone to edit my contacts (some of them are stored on in the SIM and some are google contacts)?

Apr 22, 2014I have an Xperia Z5 (E6653) and I have a microsoft office 365 (business version) account that manages all my email, calendar & contacts. I setup the account through the built in "gmail" app because the contacts & calendar would not sync at all through the native mail app.
The problem I have is that I can see & call my exchange contacts with no problems, they sync fine from the server, but I can't make any changes to the contacts via the phone's native "contacts" app, the edit symbol is there but when i tap the symbol it takes me to the next sreen (edit screen) and from there the screen is basically useless, all the details are grey and un-editable *screenshot attached* ....

Unfortunately, having stored them, I can't find a way back in to edit this information. I downloaded some stuff and didn't bother with the artist to start with as it was in the title. However, if you don't enter the artist then the track doesn't appear in the alphabetic list.

since I updated to 2.1 any long press on home screen or corner icons goes directly to edit either widgets or icons depending wich screen I have up. This is anoying because many times I press just a little too long and for example end up in the edit icons mode instead of opening messages like I wanted to.
Is there anyway to get this as it was on 1.6? Long press didnt open edit, the only way to open edit was trough menu key.
