Jan 17, 2015I am unable to open a timeshift video for editing. The time shift video option appears in the camera app and it records a 120f video. However, there is no option to open the time shift editor, which I used to be able to do when I first purchased the phone. Searching online I found this solution which suggest removing the latest version of Movie Creator will work. URL....
However this does not work for me. I only see one version of movie creator in my apps (version 3.1.A.1.0). I tried doing "uninstall updates" on movie creator but this does not work. I thought upgrading to Android 5.1.1 would fix this but sadly not. This was one of the best features of the Z3 camera and it's annoying that I can no longer use it.

May 10, 2011Recently I cannot edit any contact on the phone (Xperia Mini Pro) - whenever I want to edit a contact the RoadSync opens and gives the following message: "This is not a RoadSync contact. RoadSync cannot edit this contact" Of course it is not a RoadSync contact because there are no RoadSync contacts in my telephone (although, I do use RoadSync). How can I get rid of the message and allow the telephone to edit my contacts (some of them are stored on in the SIM and some are google contacts)?

Apr 22, 2014I have an Xperia Z5 (E6653) and I have a microsoft office 365 (business version) account that manages all my email, calendar & contacts. I setup the account through the built in "gmail" app because the contacts & calendar would not sync at all through the native mail app.
The problem I have is that I can see & call my exchange contacts with no problems, they sync fine from the server, but I can't make any changes to the contacts via the phone's native "contacts" app, the edit symbol is there but when i tap the symbol it takes me to the next sreen (edit screen) and from there the screen is basically useless, all the details are grey and un-editable *screenshot attached* ....

May 13, 2015I can only asume these 2 issues are somehow linked, when I try to watch a video on Facebook I get an error "the video cannot be played, an unknown error occured, if I open the same video in youtube, I just get a black screen, a reboot will fix it for a little while but not long, when I get the error, it will not let me record video with the camera either, just says camera is not available as soon as I hit record, mines a z2 and the problem only started since the lollipop update, if I reboot, I can watch videos and record video, after a while both errors return, its getting very annoying.

Xperia Z3 :: When Take Video Phone Would Display Flashing Bars But Wouldn't Save
May 24, 2015I tried to take several videos last night of a band but each time I went to save clips of 4 mins in length to my internal storage, the phone would display flashing bars as though saving but wouldn't save (just showed the flashing bars as though trying to save) and instead lock up. I had to restart each time and consequently lost my videos. I tried various recording modes and had the same issues. I was able to take and save pictures with no issues.

Jun 25, 2015So I took a video of me shooting a paper ball and slightly missing a trash can from my Galaxy S6 using the slow motion feature. I took that video and transferred it to my computer to edit it and put Chariots of Fire as the background music. I saved that file, keeping the exact same file type (MP4) and transferred it back to my phone. However, now when I view it on my phone, the video is the fraction of the size even though the dimensions still say 1280 x 720. When I press the full screen button, it enlarges but only vertically. I've tried converting it to H.624 and I'm normally pretty good at figuring this stuff out but I've hit a wall.

I was browsing through my pictures in the photo album and noticed the edit feature, I wasn't sure what the buttons at the bottom were for so I clicked the red circle and realized it is the red eye edit tool. But it took me to a full screen of the picture and tells me to click on the red eyes and to click twice to undo, but after lots of clicking I can't seem to get the screen to go back to my normal photo album. How do I close this feature? I can access my camera roll through the camera but not through the photo album. Even after hitting my home key and trying to get back in it still takes me to the picture that is in edit mode.
