Can receive messages on my Bold 9900, but when sending mail,I get a RED X with the message status:Transaction error - failure at service. Also had this problem with an earlier version of the Bold handset.
On my Blackberry bold 9000 since last night (approximately) I have not been receiving e-mails however I am still able to send e-mails.On the diagnostics check everything came back as yes apart from connected to e-mail, however this is the first time this has happened and I have confirmed that I have entered the correct log in details. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening as I would have thought that if I wasn't connected to my e-mail account that I would not have been able to send e-mails? Any help would be appreciated, I am a UK Vodafone user.
I changed the sim card in my 9900 to try band find a number that was on another sim card, I reinserted my other sim card and I now cant access my phone. I get prompted with a blackberry ID log in screen, it won't accept any password I give it nor will it aallow me to change my password. After restarting it a few times I am now into my phone although can't send any messages or anything, At the top of the screen it says 'Insert SIM Card' when the sim is already in it.
I bought this Blackberry Bold 9900 2 months ago and it works good. But when i try to send or receive MMS it does not work. I cannot send any MMS to any number and i cannot receive any MMS from anybody. When I try to send them a big red X pups up right next to the message and it just stays there and the message does not go through.
I can't send pictures taken from my new BB Bold 9900 to my desktop, it kept saying "File Transfer Failed to find service." But I can send files, without any problems, from my desktop to my phone.
I am a new BlackBerry user so I don't know if I', doing something wrong.
I have had my BB for around 2 weeks ago and up to now have had no problems. Now all of a sudden today it keeps asking me to validate my email. I have done this several times and get the message that validation has been successful. A couple of minutes later it asks me to do it again!I have deleted my email account and re-added it aswell as do the battery pull but still no success. I rely heavily on my phone to get emails through but it won't work. Can anyone advise me what to do or what the problem might be? I have a gmail account but there isn't any problems with that.
When I try to reply to an email message on the new Bold 9900, I can't locate the Send button. All I can find is Save Draft. Is this a software glitch in the new OS or am I missing something obvious?
I have a very annoying problem. Sudenly, when I start typing a name in field "to" when composing an e-mail, the BB doesn't lookup in the device address book! This happens in new messages or forwarding. Also, even if I try to manually type the address the BB does not recognize it.
When i compose an e mail and click send nothing happens It will send if I reply to an e mail but not if i compose a nes one I have a BB curve 8520 and I have had it about 6 weeks i have a data plan and i have tried a hard reset
I got a new bold 9900 2 days ago, all was going well, but when I open an email, I don't see the options create, send, forward reply etc, I have to go via the blackberry button?
before everyone says do this do that , ive done it all. updated, reset, took battery out, service book.it just suddely stopped working, im ready to fling the phone in the bin, it is of no use to me if not working. i need access to e-mails.
Recently I have upgraded my OS from 4.7 to 5.0.0.328. one strange problem I am facing is I am able to reply the e-mails but I am unable to send new email or forward e-mail. "Send" button in inactivated or no send option in menu.
I get this message when I try to send emails from my iPhone. I used to be able to change the sending account and after a few more attempts it would go but now nothing will from any account. The message will mention either my email address of the address I'm sending to and say its being rejected by the server. Anyone know how to fix this?
I just got my new Nokia N8. I already setup Mail for Exchange via IMAP to sync the mails, contacts and the calendar of my private mailbox.Everything runs alright. But I can not send mails via Mail for Exchange. If I push on "New Mail" the program say the command can not be executed and breaks down.
I have been using my 9900 for 3 months now between 2 countries. It seems there are always problems cropping up whenever I arrive at the other country (SIM Swap). most problems are easily solved with resending Service Books and/or Battery Pull. However my latest problem can't be solved regardless whatever I did. There is no sound whenever a new email gets push to my Phone, also, i only have a "Save Draft" option BUT NOT "Send" option. I can't send mail now.Things I have done.1. Battery Pull2. Re-registering my email (after deleting Service Books and the removing the email from device)3. Called my local provider who claims to resolve the issue but to no avail.
Since I downloaded the latest BB update, more than half the time when I attempt to reply to an email, "Send" is not an available option. My options are: Cancel, Save or Full Menu. I usually end up redoing my message and using "Forward" as a way around this. What can I do?
Just switched from Bold 9000 to Bold 9900.I find the 9900 does not have the ability to send video files directly from the video camera application via email or MMS.Only via BBM (or post on you-tube or post on FB). Of course, the 9000 had this ability to send a video directly from the video camera application.how to send a video file via email directly from the video camera application?
When I delete aol mail from blackberry 8530i, handheld and mailbox, it REALLY gets deleted. It doesn't go into the aol "Trash" folder, it just disappears altogether, like it never existed, and does not appear from my PC.
My Blackberry Bold 9900 is not turning on.Details: A battery pull has not fixed my problem.I tried using another 9900 battery, however it did not work.My battery does not work on other 9900 devices. There are no signs of moisture, nor has there been contact with water. The LED light doesn't show, nor does anything on the screen.
My service provider is Airtel. Suddenly since a month I stopped getting incoming mails and getting only outgoing mails.I checked with my office IT person too and got a reply saying that things are fine from their place. So this seems to be either service problem or Blackberry problem. I walked into my service provider exclusive blackberry showroom and showed the handset, he too tried a lot and failed bouncing back its my office IT problem.
