I bought this Blackberry Bold 9900 2 months ago and it works good.But when i try to send or receive MMS it does not work. I cannot send any MMS to any number and i cannot receive any MMS from anybody. When I try to send them a big red X pups up right next to the message and it just stays there and the message does not go through.

As of two days ago, I can receive BB messages from him, but when I send him a message I can the tick, but the message is never delivered (no 'D' or 'R').I have changed no settings on my Bold 9900. We are both on the same carrier.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:
Status: not available
Connection: not connected
Blackberry internet service:
Connection: Mobile network
I was using IPhone and recently shifted to BB and bought 9900 just 20 days ago. Now the phone started giving me problems the 3rd day of my purchase. After few calls the phone stops receiving calls.What happens is that when a call is made the person receives the call but I am not able to his voice nor does the receiver hears mine however the call dialing status is shown on the screen. I can see that the call is being made but can't hear the ring...the call gets connected and I am charged for that by the service provider.Now when someone calls me the phone does not rings but I can see that I am receiving a call and when I pick up the phone I cannot hear the other person nor does the caller hears me.It works only when I switch off the phone...take the SIM out and again restart the phone but again after few calls the same thing repeats.I went to BB service outlet and got the phone exchanged the new phone also started giving me exactly the same problem.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI changed the sim card in my 9900 to try band find a number that was on another sim card, I reinserted my other sim card and I now cant access my phone. I get prompted with a blackberry ID log in screen, it won't accept any password I give it nor will it aallow me to change my password. After restarting it a few times I am now into my phone although can't send any messages or anything, At the top of the screen it says 'Insert SIM Card' when the sim is already in it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9900. Under "contacts" I have created a distribution list, mainly my baseball team so if a game is cancelled, I would like to address them all in one swoop. The problem is, only 8 out of 18 receive a text. I go to the "text message" icon, press the blackberry button on "compose text message". When it asks "To:" I select from my contact list, my baseball team.
Some of the entries on my list have an email address only while others have both. What do I have to do to successfully reach everyone on the list? Would it work better if it were only email or mobile addresses? Does it matter whether they are MTS or Rogers customers for their cell phones? Do I require to add 1+then the area code for the cell phone numbers?
have recently updated to various software bundles, 7.1 1149. all fine except when receive message or have call the screen goes haywire and it takes 15 minutes for the screen to restore itself. have tried reloading software, keep getting error 507. should i perform a full factory reset on the device?

I am a new BlackBerry user so I don't know if I', doing something wrong.
I have had my BB for around 2 weeks ago and up to now have had no problems. Now all of a sudden today it keeps asking me to validate my email. I have done this several times and get the message that validation has been successful. A couple of minutes later it asks me to do it again!I have deleted my email account and re-added it aswell as do the battery pull but still no success. I rely heavily on my phone to get emails through but it won't work.Can anyone advise me what to do or what the problem might be? I have a gmail account but there isn't any problems with that.

I'm able to send messages and my contacts recieve them, but they stay as 'D' on my screen, but when they send a message back I do not recieve it but it says 'D' on their screen.I don't think i have changed any setting or messed with anything. I have tried delteting and reinstalling BBM but still the sane problem. Data Services are also on.

I unlocked it and added an orange simcard, without paying for email (however next month I will have bbm)The software version is 5.0.0.351. My problem is that there is not an option to send photos via text, there is bluetooth, flickr and email, but not over text. This is a real pain, especially coupled with the fact that i cannot receive photos either, for some reason, multiple people have tried! Is there anything that could be wrong with how I have set the blackberry up? I don't have OS 6 because I haven't paid for the blackberry service, however I would hope that I would still be able to send and receive photos on the earlier software.
