BB Bold :: Will Not Send Or Receive MMS
Nov 22, 2012I can't send or receive mms, I've tried resetting, taking the battery out for 20-30 seconds. I've turned off encrypt.

View 1 RepliesI have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:
Status: not available
Connection: not connected
Blackberry internet service:
Connection: Mobile network
i'm using BB Bold 9780 having 6.0 Bundle 863. I'm not able to send or recieve MMS. whenever i send MMS it gives Red "X" sign. have spoken to customer care of service provider

View 5 Replies View Relatedonly realized 5 days a go that my BBM had stopped working. I'm able to send messages and my contacts recieve them, but they stay as 'D' on my screen, but when they send a message back I do not recieve it but it says 'D' on their screen.I don't think i have changed any setting or messed with anything. I have tried delteting and reinstalling BBM but still the sane problem. Data Services are also on.

I have checked the message center and it's correct. This problem started 3 days ago. Before that, SMS is working fine. I haven't done anything special 3 days ago, and really clueless about this. Early this day, I tried to put my sim card to other phone, and it can send SMS. Put it back to my bb 9700 and this problem started again.

My BB worked fine not so long ago, but after coming back from support, this has started to happen. I deleted and recreated all my accounts, tried all sorts of things, but nothing works.
I have tried many things to send files using bluetooth, almost given up! my bold 9700 pairs but when i go to send a file it says failed to find service, pulling my hair out people.

I cannot send any MMS to any number and i cannot receive any MMS from anybody. When I try to send them a big red X pups up right next to the message and it just stays there and the message does not go through.

I unlocked it and added an orange simcard, without paying for email (however next month I will have bbm)The software version is 5.0.0.351. My problem is that there is not an option to send photos via text, there is bluetooth, flickr and email, but not over text. This is a real pain, especially coupled with the fact that i cannot receive photos either, for some reason, multiple people have tried! Is there anything that could be wrong with how I have set the blackberry up? I don't have OS 6 because I haven't paid for the blackberry service, however I would hope that I would still be able to send and receive photos on the earlier software.

I am notified that I have a new message, I go to my inbox, the message isn't moving to the top of my inbox so I have to find it, I can read the first part of the message while I'm still in my inbox, but when I click on the message to read it in full, it's not there! At this point my phone thinks I've read the message so it no longer alerts me about a new message. Same with sent messages, I can type and send them, but they don't appear in the message thread at all.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to get gmail working off & on for about a month now. I have had a gmail account for as far back as I can remember. I have set it up on my 9700 and received the "congrats" email from the bb service, but never receive emails.
Created a NEW gmail account, and have tested from my hotmail account (which IS receiving and sending fine on my BB). Still not receiving gmail on device. Called T-Mob, spoke to rep and BB supprt rep. I recieved 2 or 3 emails that night (couple of weeks ago). Nothing since.
Can:
Send an email to hotmail account and gmail accounts from my BB (using a gmail account to send) and I receive them on my computer. I recieve the hotmail email on my BB, but not the gmail. No matter what I do, I can't seem to receive gmail on my BB.
I have:
•Resent the Service Books from both the Handheld and my PC (A few times)
•Registered a few times through the Host Table and got the registrering email
•Checked to ensure no filters interfering on my provider setup and made sure that it is set to "forward to device"
•Deleted the Gmail Account and set it up again - same issue
•Set up a hotmail account, which works fine.
•Confirmed Gmail settings (on gmail site). POP is enabled (recent)as well as IMAP
•Checked Firewall settings
•Rebooted my Blackberry by pulling the battery after most of the events above
I'm an IT Support Specialist, but just can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I am new to BB and new to the community, and I feel like this is just beyond my periferal vision.
My blackberry bold 9700 cannot send SMS to any number, it can only receive SMS. Email and other online services are working well. I have checked the message center and it's correct. This problem started 3 days ago. Before that, SMS is working fine. I haven't done anything special 3 days ago, and really clueless about this. We have tried removing each other as a contact, reading and if I read him it just says 'pending' also we have updated so we have the same version but still nothing!

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to call someone/send a text it either doesn't send or I get call failed after about 5-10 seconds. Last night it kept saying SOS in the top corner, even when I had signal. I tried rebooting it but it would say vodafone UK for about 30 seconds after a reboot and the go to SOS. My bbm is working fine, so im not quite sure what the problem is. today it worked for a bit and within the last hour it has reverted back to doing it agai, but it doesnt say SOS.

I try going on 'Setup E-mail Accounts' but it won't open E-mail Accounts no matter how many times I click on it. I have tried restarting but it won't work.
