Oct 11, 2011When I connect my new BB 9900 to my Audi A5 via bluetooth I have two problems. Before I explain let me also say that the phone Icon that is displayed on my Audi screen is different to the one I had with my BB 8310 Curve and my iPhone. Instead of a picture that looks like a phone its a picture of a phone with what appears to be a simcard showing inside of it. Does that mean anything?
Anyway, my two problems are:
1) I cant synch contacts. Ive deleted call lists, rebooted phone, re-paired debvice etc etc but no luck.
2) The worst problem of all....when I synch up the device to my Audi I cant do anything on the BB while its paired. Thats because there is a message on the screen saying something like "SAP access someting or other..." and to get rid of the message and look up a number or an email (not while driving of course) means I have to kill the bluetooth link..
Worst thing is I had an option to go with the iphone or the BB 9900. Im beginning to think I made the wrong choice..

Apr 12, 2012I'm having an issue with my new bold. I cannot pair it with any bluetooth headset, specifically it doesn't detect any bluetooth headset (I've tried with 3 different models). I'm sure Bluetooth is working 'cause I can connect the device to my PC. I've already tried everything, I've set in pairing mode both the headsets and the device but still nothing. I've tried "listen" mode and "search" mode yet nothing work.
This might seem like a minor issue for someone, but I'm often driving while speaking on the phone, can't do without this option.
BB Bold :: Car Bluetooth Connection With 9900?
Oct 23, 2012i have just got the new Bold 9900 and paired/connected it to my bluetooth in the car. i've had multiple blackberry phones and never had an issue. now i find that when i start the car and the device is found, the car (not the phone) starts a call to a number.
the log on the RIM site said it was a known issue and had been escalated internally.

Aug 9, 2011I changed the sim card in my 9900 to try band find a number that was on another sim card, I reinserted my other sim card and I now cant access my phone. I get prompted with a blackberry ID log in screen, it won't accept any password I give it nor will it aallow me to change my password. After restarting it a few times I am now into my phone although can't send any messages or anything, At the top of the screen it says 'Insert SIM Card' when the sim is already in it.

Nov 27, 2012I am experiencing a major problem with my BB 9900. Whenever I tried to turn on the Bluetooth, it freezes the phone and shutting down and restarting the phone will not even resolve the problem. I must removed the Sim from phone before the phone can be working and immediately I re-inserted the sim, the phone freezes again.
The phone will not work again with SIM inserted except I wipe off the phone memory when sim is not inserted and reinstall it to a later day. More so, the WiFi does not comes up whenever I tried to turn it on. What could be done to get this phone back to the good working state.

Mar 16, 2012I have had my BB for around 2 weeks ago and up to now have had no problems. Now all of a sudden today it keeps asking me to validate my email. I have done this several times and get the message that validation has been successful. A couple of minutes later it asks me to do it again!I have deleted my email account and re-added it aswell as do the battery pull but still no success. I rely heavily on my phone to get emails through but it won't work.Can anyone advise me what to do or what the problem might be? I have a gmail account but there isn't any problems with that.

They pair perfectly but both devices are unable to connect a ringing call, disconnect a call in progress or initiate a phone call. If I answer or place a call from the phone, the Bluetooth device engages but the voice is only one direction. I have tried turning Encryption on & off under the device properties and no difference.
