Aug 30, 2011It seems unable to connect while trying to receive songs via bluetooth from Nokia 5233 to blackberry. I can send file from Blackberry to Nokia.

It has 2 positioning method
1) Network Based
2) Bluetooth Based
As far as I know, these 2 positioning methods do not require any kind of GPS chip in the phone as these positioning methods decides your location by GPRS connection.But, in the manual, it is given that on the left side of the handest (NOKIA 5233), it has GPS chip?
So, what does that mean? Nokia 5233 does have a real GPS?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software (with a reboot inbetween) with success.When pairing the phone with Windows, it detects and attempts to install 3 drivers. The only one that is successful is the modem profile. No other drivers are installed.The Desktop Software does not see the phone. If I attempt to install the phone through the Desktop Software initially, it will see the phone, however the same problem occurs with the drivers.I should also note that the phone is set to always connect to the PC.

Feb 17, 2012I just updated and configured my brand new Bold 9900 OS 7.0 Bundle 2406 for my Bluetooth devices and two of them that previously worked have issues. They pair perfectly but both devices are unable to connect a ringing call, disconnect a call in progress or initiate a phone call. If I answer or place a call from the phone, the Bluetooth device engages but the voice is only one direction. I have tried turning Encryption on & off under the device properties and no difference. I have verified the one Motorola device is listed as Compatible with my bold so what's up here?

Won't connect, in pairing mode phone doesn't ask for passcode...unless I'm missing something...I think I have had it connected once. Bluetooth sees the earpiece, says connecting if I select but doesnt.
Also, if battery life is an issue, why doesn't the info bar at the top indicate Bluetooth is on, not just indicate when a headset is connected?

Yesterday i went home and activated blutooth on the phone.It showed message of the features it found and seems to connect (radio showed the connect icon) but then just did a reset and reboot.I tried several times. Every time after/while pairing with the radio the lumia just reboots itself.

Apr 13, 2011I'm having problems connecting OVI to a Nokia N8-00 handset via Bluetooth. The Add New Device wizard is able to detect the phone but when selecting it from the list and proceeding it stays on "Checking the Bluetooth capabilities of your device." for some 20 seconds after which it eventually fails with the error of "Failed to connect to your device. Problems occurred while authorizing the Bluetooth connection between your device and computer."
I've verified that both devices are configured as authorized by their respective counterpart. Also tried to remove the pairing from both the laptop and phone and re-pair them again - same problem. I am able to sync the phone with OVI via USB no problem. I am also able to use my OVI with another Nokia phone (E72) via Bluetooth without any issues. This points me to a possible problem with Bluetooth on the N8 phone itself but I don't have any way to prove it.
