It seems to happen sometimes after I change themes. I've just been deleting my email account and setting it up again but It's really annoying. Is there another way to fix this?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I set up my gmail account via the BIS or whatever plug-in, and all seems to be working ok. The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy BB AppWorld keeps disappearing. When I go to the application list it is still installed, but the icon disappears and there is no way to launch app world. If I re install it comes back. It was there this morning, but this afternoon it was gone. There were no reboots at all. This is kind of getting annoying. I don't know what to do.

I get an email and within 5 minutes the inbox empties. I can see it moving up like I've swiped the screen and then cannot find it anywhere.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use QL and often toggle GPS. In order to toggle GPS you have to set the perimeters which is:
2,7,2 = Options > Advanced Options (2), GPS (7), GPS Services OFF/ON (2)
But heres the problem as you can see. Sometimes Enterprise Activation disappears, which then would make the perimeters 2,6,2. Which obviously won't work b/c its not set up that way.Anyone have any ideas why this happens? Or what I can do to make it completely gone forever so I can change my perimeters 2,6,2?
I got the Bold 9700 from AT&T on Saturday and I have unlocked it and started using it on the Bell network as of yesterday. Before getting the Bell SIM card, I upgraded it to the latest OS from Bell (platform 5.1.0.116 ; app version: 5.0.0.423).I was taking notes on a memo, and I suddenly started getting an error saying "Memo updated externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed." I'm pretty used to saving on a regular basis, so I didn't lose too too much of my notes. It started saving OK for a while on the same note after it happened twice within about 5 attempted saves (so the 3 or so in between did work). At one point my memo got duplicated for some reason. I deleted it and was working with the one left. Eventually it started doing it every time I tried saving a note regardless as to whether or not I actually made any changes to it. Finally after not touching my BlackBerry for a while, the memo has disappeared. Not quite sure what's going on with my memos at this point. I haven't synced my BlackBerry with the computer at all today. I'm using BIS, and I have nothing that should be modifying my memos.
I am wondering if there is anything I can do or if I should downgrade back to AT&T's latest available OS version which is older than Bell's latest. I've found no one having these issues with memos, only with contacts and calendar entries. I've always used my BlackBerry for taking notes that are very important for me.
I bought my first smartphone this past January, the Bold 9700, and I absolutely love it! However, the count for my Inbox displayed at the top of my screen ALWAYS indicates ONE email received, even though I've deleted all emails.Only once did the count go to zero, but I can't figure out why it did, because I deleted mail the way I always do, but a couple days later, it went back to maintaining ONE in my Inbox.What do I do? Besides ignoring it, which is what I've been doing.

I had the same problem with the Curve and I somehow fixed it, but I can't remember how. I do not have the sent messages hidden either.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIf I receive a message (SMS for example) then press back to read another SMS from a different contact, and then try to reply to the second message I read for some reason my 9700 sets up a reply for the message of the first sender and not the second sender. This is a recent problem and can not seem to figure out why it is doing this.This best way to describe what it is doing is "lagging".Also, sometime when I select "katie" in my phone it will randomly call "nancy".This happens multiple times in a row.

It's one thing that drives me nuts because the OS interface is placing an SMS notifier saying I have a new one, I see that I have one new message, I hover over the SMS icon on the home screen and it has a prefix (1). I deleted ALL sms msgs and it's still telling me I have one. What do I do? This happened after I did a backup and restore. Maybe because I had an unread SMS before restoring data from my old 8330?

I've been searching for an answer to this problem for about four days. I apologize if it's been asked and then answered, but I just can't find it in the forums.
I'll try to explain as much as I can. I have the Blackberry Bold through AT&T. I am a single user, not through a business, just me. While at home, my email (through at&t) comes to my BB. Once I arrive at work in the morning, I open up my Outlook (version 2003) and my email downloads from my BB. I have the option checked to NOT leave a copy on the server so it is now gone from my BB and housed in my Outlook. I like this setup. This is how I want it to work.
About 4 days ago the problem started. The emails still download to Outlook but won't disappear from my BB as before. I have to go in and delete it a second time on the BB. I don't use any type of sync with my email, it's just always been an automatic thing. I double checked and in my Outlook account it's still set to NOT leave a copy on the server.
Did something get corrupted? It's annoying to see that red LED light flashing only for an email I've already read on Outlook. Hate having to delete the same email twice.
I recently got a 9900 and have an issue every week to two weeks when I miss a call. The missed call for some reason deletes all of my email from my 3 email accounts. All that is viewable in my email is the missed call list. I remove the battery from my device and this resets the email.

View 13 Replies View RelatedEvery so often, I'll get a new incoming SMS, and when I try to go to the inbox to view it, I get the dreaded java.lang.NullPointerException.
Pulling the battery fixes it, but only for a little while. At best, it works for 2-3 days before it happens again. Sometimes, like today, it doesn't even last one day: I already pulled it about 3-4 hours ago, and just had this issue again.
It's extremely frustrating, because rebooting after reinserting the battery takes 5 minutes, and I have to do it immediately to read the message I just received!
I tried updating the OS, but this has had no effect.
Has anyone else experienced this with their 9700? I'm on AT&T and am running 5.0.0.405.
Is it possible to apply some rules inside my inbox? For example marking red for specific senders etc
View 6 Replies View RelatedI don't know why this happened, I woke up this morning and it was like this. Whenever I try to open my email inbox the SMS inbox opens. Even if I go directly to my individual accounts on my BB (yahoo and gmail) and try to open them directly, it still opens my SMS inbox. I can't figure this out and can't find an answer. I have to check all my emails my going onto a computer. I still get notifications of new emails on my BB, but can't view them because only the SMS inbox will come up. I need my email inbox to show when I click on my email inbox.

I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.

I have the bold 9700 and about 3 days ago I stopped receiving emails on my device, however I was getting them on my inbox on my PC. Now, I am getting them but there's allot of lag time. My PC inbox gets them right away but it takes my blackberry 20 minutes after it's sent to get sometimes. I tried multiple e-mails and same thing so I know the problem is not the email server and I also have no problems with my BIS and when I send emails with my BB they're sent to the inbox immediately.

Everything is working great and I'm very happy with the phone.What I want to know is can I get my BB email inbox to match my (hotmail, gmail, office) email inboxes?
