BB Software :: Sent Emails Appearing In The Inbox?
Dec 13, 2011When I send an email out from my blackberry, I get a exact copy of it in my inbox. Blackberry see's the problem but does not know why it happenes. It goes on for 2 or 3 hours a day then just stops. This has been going on for 6 months. There are no forwards, rules or filters on the account and the account is set-up as POP. My carrier is Verizon, while my client has the exact same problem with his email account but uses ATT.

Mar 18, 2010I don't know why this happened, I woke up this morning and it was like this. Whenever I try to open my email inbox the SMS inbox opens. Even if I go directly to my individual accounts on my BB (yahoo and gmail) and try to open them directly, it still opens my SMS inbox. I can't figure this out and can't find an answer. I have to check all my emails my going onto a computer. I still get notifications of new emails on my BB, but can't view them because only the SMS inbox will come up. I need my email inbox to show when I click on my email inbox.

Aug 21, 2014My Iphone4 email inbox is showing there is over 1,000 messages in the inbox but in fact there is only a few and email on my pc shows correctly. I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.
I use Thunderbird.

Oct 4, 2011i have recently changed from an iphone to the bold 9900 - setup email accounts and sync'd with outlook on my laptop no problems.BUT i cannot get it to sync my inbox subfolders.i have tried the mapping option in the advance options for sync but it just will not allow it ??am i missing something? does it have to be on an exchange server ?

Jul 14, 2010Just got a 9650 from Sprint. This is my first BB, but not new to them as my wife and daughter both have them.Just activated the phone yesterday. Everything is working great and I'm very happy with the phone.What I want to know is can I get my BB email inbox to match my (hotmail, gmail, office) email inboxes? I'm getting all my emails fine from yesterday on, but any emails I have from before yesterday don't show up on the BB.Is this just the way it is? Is there no sync, just push?

The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.

Feb 3, 2012everything was fine until this morning. after syncing my bb bold 9780, they prompted me to update my blackberry system software. after i have done so, the phone did a long "reboot" and i realised after that all my email accounts are gone. and i have to set them up again.
however after i go to SETUP, i click on EMAIL ACCOUNTS and then INTERNET MAIL ACCOUNT, it goes back to the SETUP page, every single time. And when i select Exit Setup, the phone freezes. When it freezes, i will take out the battery and try again but the same thing happened every single time!
was it something to do with the software? and more importantly, can anyone tell me what i can do to set up my email accounts?

Jun 20, 2010Im in South Africa, got a 9700 from Nashuamobile, using the MTN network.My contract is only beginning from 01 July.I want to setup my current email adress on the phone like it is currrently on my N95.However it seems it will not be possible without the Blackberry service been activated?
So if this is the case, then my question is that the will it be impossible to have my email working on it without the BIS or BES service? How can this be possible? I thought I have the option of taking the BIS service or not?I suppose its the same in all countries , nevermind the ISp or Carrier?

I go to the setup on the main screen (the phone with the green gear) and I can see under set up the little icon for Email Accounts, but when I click on it nothing opens up. I can click on other icons (i.e. Wi-Fi) and the set up screen opens for them, but not for the email accounts.
