My contacts don't appear anymore when I write an e-mail. I used to get them directly when I was typing the first letters of the required contact, but I don't know why it doesn't work anymore.I couldn't find any way to get back to the initial configuration on the options of e-mail topic. The only thing I could find is to attach a contact.

The instruction stated that I needed to launch the Setup Wizard and click on the Email Accounts icon and then select the "Internet mail Account" icon to verify my password. I follow the instructions but, when I click on the "Internet mail Account" icon nothing happens and my only available option is "return to Setup".

I make a test call to the number, and the photo appears full size. The moment I leave the contact screen and try to make a test call again (for example, adding the contact to my favorites and using a favorite link to make a test call) the picture appears as a thumbnail. This happens immediately and to every contact I have. I sync the contact list with Google contacts.

How do I stop my contact photos appearing in Gallery on SGSII/Android 2.3.3? I know from various sites that you can add a ".NoMedia" file to any folder and it will apparently prevent it from displaying in Gallery, but I can't find the actual folder location in My Files where the contact photos are stored, so that I can put this file there - and I can't find this info on ANY web sites. Is the .nomedia thing the only way to stop this? Also, is it possible to uninstall / remove access to Gallery if I install another photo/video manager app?

My first post to a message board ever! I love my BB, but not being particularly tech savvy, I have been slow going. I have a few questions I was hoping someone could help me with.
1. I set up my personal e-mail address and have that working great. Today I set up my work e-mail address via the enterprise server. My question is can I get those work e-mails to go into a specific e-mail folder rather than the catch-all message folder (which drive me nuts and is hard to read)?
2. I thought that once I set up the enterprise system it would automatically download my work-base calendar and contacts (Microsoft office) to my phone. Is that not the case? Is there something I'm missing? Am I supposed to download the bb software to my work computer as well and sync?
3. Is there a way to get my sent e-mails to go into a sent e-mail folder for the respective e-mail accounts? Or is there a way to format the look differently?
I have two emails that are synching to my BB (outlook and Gmail), my query show to move a contact that syncs with outlook and make it sync with Gmail. In other terms, let's suppose that Contact ABC is set to sync with Outlook, I need to know how to make it sync with Gmail.

I have tried the battery - emailing from the camera - using small size pictures - checking to see if I have a data plan (YES) - emailing from the media card and the device storage with no luck. I am getting angry at the phone! The pictures can be sent to Twitter/Facebook/and of course texting. Oh I read about deleting service books and then restarting them - not sure what that means but I have a ton of files under the service books.

I set up a second email account and synched all my contacts not thinking that the handset would show them all twice. I found that you could show only one set but i had to go into options and do this every time i wanted to display only one set of contacts on the device. In the end this drove me nuts and i've since deleted one email account as it is rarely used for anything other than purchasing things over the internet. I thought that this would resolve the issue and the deleted account disappeared as you would expect but there is a hangover in the contacts lists where it still shows both sets of contacts and i can see the old gmail account is still there. I've rebooted the device and been through all the menus and the only place this old email account exists is in the contacts folder.
Ideally i would like both accounts on the handset and for it to only display one set of contacts from one account at any time while still synching both email accounts when any changes are made on the handset.

Please ask if I'm not clear on some point...I want to be able to check my email thru the GMail application; get notifications for my Yahoo Messenger, missed calls, voicemails, and SMS Text and MMS messages thru the BlackBerry Messages app; and my Gmail calendar thru the BlackBerry Calendar app.I can't figure out how to make my email NOT appear in Messages. So, I created a dummy email account that gets no email and set that up as the default email account. Now I get my real email thru the Gmail app, and all the other notifications thru Messages (and no emails in there). Great, but the Calendar app won't work with my Gmail account because it only wants to connect to the dummy gmail account and to Facebook. I don't want Facebook to touch my calendar, and I have set it as such in the Facebook App options, but it still does.
Using Google Sync, I managed to get my real calendar to show up in the Calendar as Default. When I run the sync, the appointments I created in the online Gmail calendar appear in the Calendar as being on the Facebook calendar. From the Calendar, I can not create appointments for my real Gmail account, only for my dummy account and for Facebook. If I delete the appointments from the Facebook calendar, then after syncing it deletes the appointments from my online Gmail calendar.I think what I need to know boils down to "how can I prevent email from appearing in Messages?". If I can figure that out, then I can delete the dummy account and set up the email as my real account and then the calendar should work correctly.
