Just bought new Bold 9790, i registered my email address (to which i have remote back up for bbm contacts), When i came to restore my contacts, the phone sends an email verification, my phone receives the email and it is not in junk folder and yet does not continue automatically to restore contacts, I have tried this several times and its still not working.How can i restore my bbm contacts?

There was this app called Xcontact which was an excellent way to insert any contact info from the address book into emails/sms.. but it doesn't work on my bold 9700 .. can anyone suggest anything similar for it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedRandomly a few days ago, when composing emails I noticed my address book doesn't seem to be 'looked up'i.e. when I type in the To: box, the letter A or Ada...'Adam Smith' doesn't appear in the suggested contacts. None of my contacts appear at all!
This 'lookup' functions works fine for SMS but not email emails.I've updated with the latest software already

My first post to a message board ever! I love my BB, but not being particularly tech savvy, I have been slow going. I have a few questions I was hoping someone could help me with.
1. I set up my personal e-mail address and have that working great. Today I set up my work e-mail address via the enterprise server. My question is can I get those work e-mails to go into a specific e-mail folder rather than the catch-all message folder (which drive me nuts and is hard to read)?
2. I thought that once I set up the enterprise system it would automatically download my work-base calendar and contacts (Microsoft office) to my phone. Is that not the case? Is there something I'm missing? Am I supposed to download the bb software to my work computer as well and sync?
3. Is there a way to get my sent e-mails to go into a sent e-mail folder for the respective e-mail accounts? Or is there a way to format the look differently?
I have two emails that are synching to my BB (outlook and Gmail), my query show to move a contact that syncs with outlook and make it sync with Gmail. In other terms, let's suppose that Contact ABC is set to sync with Outlook, I need to know how to make it sync with Gmail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a Bold 9930 for the past year and I just recently discovered that I can no longer email pictures - my attachments for files and etc work fine. I have tried the battery - emailing from the camera - using small size pictures - checking to see if I have a data plan (YES) - emailing from the media card and the device storage with no luck. I am getting angry at the phone! The pictures can be sent to Twitter/Facebook/and of course texting. Oh I read about deleting service books and then restarting them - not sure what that means but I have a ton of files under the service books.

I set up a second email account and synched all my contacts not thinking that the handset would show them all twice. I found that you could show only one set but i had to go into options and do this every time i wanted to display only one set of contacts on the device. In the end this drove me nuts and i've since deleted one email account as it is rarely used for anything other than purchasing things over the internet. I thought that this would resolve the issue and the deleted account disappeared as you would expect but there is a hangover in the contacts lists where it still shows both sets of contacts and i can see the old gmail account is still there. I've rebooted the device and been through all the menus and the only place this old email account exists is in the contacts folder.
Ideally i would like both accounts on the handset and for it to only display one set of contacts from one account at any time while still synching both email accounts when any changes are made on the handset.

I have an Iphone4s which reciver speaker stopped working. The phone is only 6 months old and and was bought online from Apple in Malaysia. I live in Sri Lanka and although there are agents here the Express Lane support in the US who I called earlier today say I need to return the phone back to Malaysia to get a new one. I am trying to verify my email contact address with Apple. In the confirmation email I received, the link to verify is not active. This has been going on for over 2 weeks. They keep sending emails where I can't click on "VERIFY Now".

On his phone, I deleted e-mail address and contacts and those that I deleted from his phone were delected from my msn email account on my computer. Luckily, they were not deleted from my phone.
