I have a BB9300 curve and I can't change my contact sync either.The email contact is an older one and I have deleted the account from by BB, but to no avail. I can't change default email to sync contact in my bb torch no matter what I tried. Your tips also didn't work
View 3 RepliesI just switched my OS to version 6.0 and I am careless to set a wrong email address on the filed of Contact List(SYNC) in Default Service of Advanced System Setting of Device under the "Option".
I've tried to cancel this email address on Google Mailbox and I remove this email address setting in my Bold 9700 as well. But this email address still exist in the filed of Contact List (SYNC)?
Anybody know how to remove or change it? Because in this field, there is no other option to change to my other email addresses!
Because of that, Blackberry Desktop Software can't synchronize my contact list to my laptop!

how do I do this?it seems all my contacts are not synching from my Outlook on my computer to my phone and I want to change that also when i use options in Contact List it asks me to Show All Contact Lists, which shows 2 e-mail addresses but not all my e-mail addresses that come in on my phone; I think that is where the problem stems

old storm 1 worked great up until the key board on the phone quit. went to verizon, they couldn't fix it and so i got a new storm2. that is where the trouble started. they down loaded the contact list to the new phone and for some reason everything appeared 4 times. they couldn't fix and after a lot of hell and a wipe of my desktop manager and a new download i have managed to erase the contacts from my phone. however, now the contact list on the phone will not come up and of course the sync still doesn not happen. it shows to be syncing but it always quits with 2 remaining and i get the dreaded error message and then the manager shuts down. the calendar did sync finally and that is working. the emails work and i can make a call as long as i remember the number. i have turned off the picture sync as the forums said that could be the problem.

I am using the online sync function that works with gmail account. I really like this feature because my 9700 will always have an updated list of contacts.But since I did a device switch, I had to register the email account on my phone again. Now I see 2 contact lists associated with my email account. For example, my gmail has 200 contacts, so on my BB i see 400 contacts all duplicated. If go into Contacts Options -> Contact Lists, I see the same gmail account twice. There is no option to delete one.
(This is only for contacts, as far as email setup, I only see my 1 email account setup)I dont mind just deleting all the contacts on my BB and then resync again, but I can't seem to find a way to delete all the contacts on my phone.

I now have 300+ random email addresses in my contacts list that I cant seem to get rid of. I had a look on desktop manager and all i could do was delete all -therefore including the numbers in my contact list too...obviously i don't want to do this....just want to get rid of all of these email addresses! I am having difficulty resetting the Contact List default, so I can synchronize my phone and Outlook email contacts and calendar. I recently added a gmail account and this has become the default. I need to reset the Contact List back.I have deleted the gmail account from my phone and restored older backups, this doesn't work.
I think i have my contacts registered to two emails. Half on one, and half on another. How can I make them all on one?

We have a contact list in html format in our organization. The contact list is displayed by the BB browser. The emails and phone numbers in this list work fine for other models we have (9650,etc.) But users with new BB Torch 9800 can not click on the phone numbers or emails any more. Our provider is ATT. The OS I believe is 6.0.0.246.
