Jan 27, 2012I think i have my contacts registered to two emails. Half on one, and half on another. How can I make them all on one?

Jan 18, 2011I've tried to update to 2.1 twice (once via PC Companion and once via SE Update Service) but have had problems with the new 2.1 after each attempt. Part of contacts list was missing even after backing up data. Font display is noticeably larger. Words on various apps are cut off. Also lost the user guides. Is it possible for me to revert back to 1.6? How to try and successfully install 2.1?

Nov 17, 2011Correcting the wrong e-mail registered during the process of creation of Blackberry user ID. Now I forgot the password to log into Blackberry account. After answering the security question, my password is being sent to the wrong e-mail address created which of-course I couldn't open anyway as it is a wrong e-mail address. Now I left with only two more chances to log into Blachbeery user ID. My phone is Bold 9900.

Jan 29, 2010I have a BOLD 9000 that I've had for somewhat over a year now. I simply use BIS through my carrier (Rogers Wireless) and have configured 3 email accounts (One @rogers.blackberry.net, and 2 POP based)
One of the POP accounts I have desktop access to as well through Outlook so I have an ongoing history of email messages for that account. The other POP account I don't have web access for and there are some very old emails in this account database on the BB that I've collected.
I know you can use the Desktop Mgr to backup selected databases, however, once the emails "Messages" database is backed up, is there a way to view these emails on my desktop? The file format seems proprietary to BlackBerry tho. There's no way I can import this into a Personal Information Manager (PIM) to view the backed up messages for archiving and revisiting is there?

May 5, 2011I recently needed to re-add all of my email accounts, doing it in a hurry I forgot to un-check 'sync contacts' when setting up my hotmail email. I now have 300+ random email addresses in my contacts list that I cant seem to get rid of. I had a look on desktop manager and all i could do was delete all -therefore including the numbers in my contact list too...obviously i don't want to do this....just want to get rid of all of these email addresses! I have tried deleting the email account and this also doen't work!

May 2, 2010I own a BB bold 9700 and last night I exchanged phones with a friend, the sim and memory card was removed and then reinserted back in, when i turn on the phone, I realised that all my contacts were gone. I don't know what happened? Those that has to do with a different sim card inserted into the phone? Is it some kinda BB security lockdown software? I'm using the Celcom-Vodafone (Malaysia) package. Aug 29, 2010I just got a new Blackberry Bold 9650. Since my old phone was so old, the contact list couldn't be transferred. I spent hours and hours putting all of my numbers in by hand and all was well. After I did that, I added my Yahoo email account to the phone. Now the phone numbers I hand puched are gone and all of the contacts are from the email account. My call log lists the names of the people who have called me, so I know the info is somewhere on the phone but I can't find it. I even deleted the email account, but the Yahoo cantacts are still there and the others are still not.

Nov 26, 2011Somehow when I sync my Bold 9700 to my Outlook for Mac (which is linked to my Google mail account), the contacts in my device are duplicated as part of a Contact List that I never created. What's even weirder is that the name of that contact list is named with another email address, which was once from one of my contacts. Confusing?
Anyway, I cannot find anywhere in Outlook or Google, or on my device, an option to remove the bogus contact list.
