Apr 30, 2012Over the weekend, I was suddenly no longer able to edit any of my existing contact information or add new contacts. I updated my phone, and that did nothing.

Xperia X10 :: Lost Contact From Its List After Editing
Dec 29, 2010Just got an Xperia X10. I have been trying to edit some contacts. When I finish editing, I tap "done", it says "saving contacts", then when I look in the contact list, that contact is gone! I've lost 3 contact details so far.

Oct 5, 2011I am a user of blackberry 9900. My first query is about the group i have created in the contact list.
I can create a group but when i try to edit or delete one person ,it prompt for save, discard or cancel. I am able to click on save but it never comes out of that screen. Even if i close it forcefully and go back to contact tab it opens the same screen and will not let me edit the name or delete it.
My second query is about the 3G service. My service provider is Airtel in India.
They informed that this set is not compatible with 3G services hence you can connect to laptop/desktop to access your internet but will not work on mobile.

Jan 28, 2013I have imported a contact list from my SIM on to the RAZR I but the listing is last name first. I have selected first name first from the menu in > contacts in both fields but without success. It only changes the "me" profile. It doesn't matter if I try and change the SIM list or the phone list.

Aug 16, 2011This error sometimes disables access to my contact list (both directly through the dialer or through text messaging) for several minutes. I can delete contacts and add new contacts (although adding contacts sometimes results in the same crash). I have, on maybe two occassions, been able to successfully edit contact information through the contact list on my Photon, without this error appearing. But it has been several days since then. Yes, I've rebooted the phone several times without any effect on this problem. I've also killed the application through the task manager and then started the application again, also with no effect.

Mar 19, 2010I have a blackberry curve 8900 which I love but which I think may have broken my spirit this time.When I go into my contacts to search for a contact it just goes on to 'Add contact' - when I type the contact name into the 'find contact' option it then decides to add a new one instead.It will let me search my SIM card contacts but, not being the cleverest of people, my contacts aren't all on my SIM.If I go through the Search icon on my desktop and search through contacts it will let me find them through there but I don't understand why my contacts bit has changed, and how to reverse this?
The contacts are there when I go to SMS someone but if I am trying to send a message through MMS (ie a picture) then the same contact search problem occurs.I am not the most technologically-minded of people but I really love this phone and I don't know what I have done wrong!!

Nov 13, 2011I cannot make phones calls from my contact list. When I try to do so it will tell me the number cannot be completed as dialed. I can manually type in the number and the contact name will come up. The call will go through then. However, even after a completed call, I cannot hit redial and complete the call again.
