My phone is only storing abnout a weeks emails. I've never had it set to delete or only show so many eamils.Is it deleting them or just displaying only so many? On my old 8520 it had emails going back over a year!
View 5 RepliesWhenever I receive an email on my BBerry and leave it in my inbox and then receive a new email the first email gets deleted (both on my BBerry and on my computer). How can I remedy this? I'm used to using a Pearl and didn't have these issues. This Bold is driving me crazy it's possessed or something!
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I am unable to reply to emails with one my email accounts. To be more specific I can type in my response but when I hit the menu the send option is gone. The only choices I get are "save as draft" and "full menu".
I used the search but was not able to find a solution.
I am thinking this started to happen when I DL'ed v5.0.0.602. I tried practically everyone option available. I did the following in hopes for a fix:
- battery pull
- service books
- deleted the email account & re-added
I even did this combo: service books, deleted account, service books, added account & pulled battery.
I have a HTC 1, and my emails disappear from my inbox every morning. It does not matter if I have read the email or ignored it, in the morning all of my mail has gone not to be found anywhere. I have tried all of the possible email settings.

Although the emails always go to my Desire Inbox, they don't stay there for very long: they simply seem to disappear from the Inbox by the end of the day at the very latest. I can't locate them after that, and I can't seem to find an appropriate command in the settings to prevent my emails from disappearing from the Inbox.

I get an email and within 5 minutes the inbox empties. I can see it moving up like I've swiped the screen and then cannot find it anywhere.

The yahoo and googlemail work fine and the inbox,sent etc emails are as they should be and stay on the phone and on my PC at home when i log in but on my outlook account when i read the emails on my phone they disappear from the inbox (and phone) and are not there when i check on outlook express at home? when i first got the E72 it worked fine and emails i looked at on my phone remained on the phone and were at home on outlook express still?

I have a question about my Blackberry Curve 9360.When I check my phone and I have at least one of both an email and a text message, the icons will appear in my top little bar, and of course the message icon and text icon will identify that there is a new text in the icon row below. However, if I go into my inbox before my texts, the new text icon up top will disappear (or go from 2 to 1 new if there are 2, etc), and the notification on my text icon on the bottom will disappear.

They usually disappear within about 45 minutes of receiving them. I've done a hard reset and I have about 160 MB of memory free but it still keeps happening. I use Outlook to check my email but this happens even if my computer is off so Outlook isn't running.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am new to my Samsung S6, and was feeling good that I was able to create a Gmail IMAP account in the "Google" app, 2 accounts in the "Personal (POP3)" app, and one account in the "Email" app. Then I discovered that only the "Email" app shows up on my desktop and I have to open 3 different apps to look for email. Is there a way for me to "import" those other accounts into "Email" app? It looks like I might be able to start from scratch and enter all of the settings (which wasn't a short procedure), but I've read of problems encountered (e.g. disappearing emails from server, etc.)
1. Which app will produce the most user-friendly email app?
2. How to import existing account settings (created under "Accounts" in settings)?
suddenly 5 of my emails address disapeared, and when i try to add new accounts it says " checking for updates" and then your connection to the mobile network is turned on but you are not in a wireless coverage.

I have 3 emails linked two hotmail and one Gmail...I have deleted and re added the emails and still nothing the odd email comes through. I'm in the UK have a curve 8250 and my network is Virgin Mobile.
I got my Win10 phone today - everything is set up as it should but i cannot get any sound on incoming emails to ANY of my accounts.
Some googling shows that this has been a bug for quite some time.
Thursday I didn't get any emails from my external email accounts (Yahoo, Hotmail, Work) until 11:40PM Pacific then I got a whole days worth. Since then I haven't received anything.My phone works, text messaging works, the brower works, I can see the emails when I go to the websites on the PC or BB Browser. Facebook (no notifications though because they come through email) and Twitter apps work.I sent a test email from my BB from my yahoo account to my hotmail account and it did send.I have taken the battery out and restarted it. There arent any errors or anything I'm just not receiving the emails.

If I re install it comes back. It was there this morning, but this afternoon it was gone. There were no reboots at all. This is kind of getting annoying. I don't know what to do.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI use QL and often toggle GPS. In order to toggle GPS you have to set the perimeters which is:
2,7,2 = Options > Advanced Options (2), GPS (7), GPS Services OFF/ON (2)
But heres the problem as you can see. Sometimes Enterprise Activation disappears, which then would make the perimeters 2,6,2. Which obviously won't work b/c its not set up that way.Anyone have any ideas why this happens? Or what I can do to make it completely gone forever so I can change my perimeters 2,6,2?
I got the Bold 9700 from AT&T on Saturday and I have unlocked it and started using it on the Bell network as of yesterday. Before getting the Bell SIM card, I upgraded it to the latest OS from Bell (platform 5.1.0.116 ; app version: 5.0.0.423).I was taking notes on a memo, and I suddenly started getting an error saying "Memo updated externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed." I'm pretty used to saving on a regular basis, so I didn't lose too too much of my notes. It started saving OK for a while on the same note after it happened twice within about 5 attempted saves (so the 3 or so in between did work). At one point my memo got duplicated for some reason. I deleted it and was working with the one left. Eventually it started doing it every time I tried saving a note regardless as to whether or not I actually made any changes to it. Finally after not touching my BlackBerry for a while, the memo has disappeared. Not quite sure what's going on with my memos at this point. I haven't synced my BlackBerry with the computer at all today. I'm using BIS, and I have nothing that should be modifying my memos.
I am wondering if there is anything I can do or if I should downgrade back to AT&T's latest available OS version which is older than Bell's latest. I've found no one having these issues with memos, only with contacts and calendar entries. I've always used my BlackBerry for taking notes that are very important for me.
I've been searching for an answer to this problem for about four days. I apologize if it's been asked and then answered, but I just can't find it in the forums.
I'll try to explain as much as I can. I have the Blackberry Bold through AT&T. I am a single user, not through a business, just me. While at home, my email (through at&t) comes to my BB. Once I arrive at work in the morning, I open up my Outlook (version 2003) and my email downloads from my BB. I have the option checked to NOT leave a copy on the server so it is now gone from my BB and housed in my Outlook. I like this setup. This is how I want it to work.
About 4 days ago the problem started. The emails still download to Outlook but won't disappear from my BB as before. I have to go in and delete it a second time on the BB. I don't use any type of sync with my email, it's just always been an automatic thing. I double checked and in my Outlook account it's still set to NOT leave a copy on the server.
Did something get corrupted? It's annoying to see that red LED light flashing only for an email I've already read on Outlook. Hate having to delete the same email twice.
I recently got a 9900 and have an issue every week to two weeks when I miss a call. The missed call for some reason deletes all of my email from my 3 email accounts. All that is viewable in my email is the missed call list. I remove the battery from my device and this resets the email.

When I go to set up wizard, I am not given the options to set up new accounts or to delete accounts, just to sign in and when I do, the log in and passwords are not correct even though they are.
