automatically.

BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Received Email Upto 15 Minutes
Mar 23, 2010When i receive email to my emails inbox on the laptop it can be upto 15mins before my 8520 receives them. I was told by someone that it automatically searches for emails every 15 mins but was just pondering as to whether or not i can changes this so it is faster?

Mar 15, 2012I have a question about my Blackberry Curve 9360.When I check my phone and I have at least one of both an email and a text message, the icons will appear in my top little bar, and of course the message icon and text icon will identify that there is a new text in the icon row below. However, if I go into my inbox before my texts, the new text icon up top will disappear (or go from 2 to 1 new if there are 2, etc), and the notification on my text icon on the bottom will disappear.

Jan 15, 2012I recently upgraded my OS on my curve 8520 and now i hear static when talking with someone for a few minutes and thte screen goes white. I have to take out the battery and plug it in to turn it back on or it stays stuck on the white screen and is non-responsive. I like the new features on the upgrade but I think it is what is draining my battery not even sure if it is the battery. I used to hear beeps when the batter would die and the battery indicator would start to show in red. Since the upgrade again I hear static and the phone goes white. What can I do to fix this. I can't operate like this it is dangerous and I travel alot.

Mar 6, 2011I've been using personal pop3 email on my Blackberry 8520 without any problems then suddenly I'm seeing the same email arrive more than once in my Blackberry inbox. This started just a few days ago. Sometimes an email will arrive just twice but sometimes up to SEVEN times each separated by three to six minutes. Picking up emails with my outlook client there is only ever one email.
I deleted my email from the Blackberry and recreated it - but with no success. It does not affect all emails either. Two emails arrived overnight - one is duplicated, one is not.
BB Curve :: Sent Emails Also Received In The Inbox?
Sep 20, 2011I've had a BB for just about ever now - but I've never seen this before. I just added a new email acct to my phone and whenever I send messages (with just that account) I get a copy in my inbox as an unread message. The email goes through to the recipient and everything, but whenever I send from this account, I get a copy. Any idea why this could be happening? I've done resets, test emails and everything, nothing has seemed to work.I have a VZW BB Curve 3G 9330.I'm on BB OS 6.It's the third email account on my phone.I have done a soft reset a couple times already.

Sep 5, 2012I was always able to forward email messages received from my mweb account. Now if I use the 'forward' option I don't even get my contacts list and if I put an email address in the message is only saved as a DRAFT and there is no SEND option. It happens with other blackberry models too -

It will show a notification either on the lock screen or active screen and sometimes shows up momentarily upon opening the text but then disappears. Jun 1, 2010I am using the Google calendar sync to push my Outlook appointments to my Google calendar, and then using the Google calendar app on my BB 8530 to download my consildated Outlook/Google calendar.This works great, except for one problem. When I receive an invite for a meeting via my Exchange email on my device, it automatically adds it to my calendar, hence creating a duplicate calendar item.
In my calendar options on my BB, the "Wireless Sync" option is grayed out and set to "No." (since I don't use a BES connection)
How can I stop my BB from adding items to my calendar automatically when it sees the calendar invite in my email on the device?
I have Verizon service and use webmail to sync my Exchange email.

The yahoo and googlemail work fine and the inbox,sent etc emails are as they should be and stay on the phone and on my PC at home when i log in but on my outlook account when i read the emails on my phone they disappear from the inbox (and phone) and are not there when i check on outlook express at home? when i first got the E72 it worked fine and emails i looked at on my phone remained on the phone and were at home on outlook express still?
i havent done anything different? i use this address currently to receive wedding RSVP's and they are disappearing? I cannot beleive i am the only one suffering this.

Nov 2, 2010I'm using BIS and within the last couple of months emails have started disappearing off of my blackberry handest. They usually disappear within about 45 minutes of receiving them. I've done a hard reset and I have about 160 MB of memory free but it still keeps happening. I use Outlook to check my email but this happens even if my computer is off so Outlook isn't running.

Apr 21, 2010It's been happening since this today, when I receive a SMS or email the phone rings/vibrates and everything, then when I go to to the SMS&MMS or email icon nothing new is there. Earlier this morning everything was fine, I was sending/receiving texts without any problem. Then I connected my bb to my computer and opened desktop manager, received a SMS while it was plugged in, I tried reading it and saw nothing. That's exactly when I started having this issue. The only unusual thing was that I was running warcraft 3 at the same time but that has nothing to do with the bb. I already tried turning off the phone then turning it back on, did a battery pull using quickpull, did a battery pull physically and it's still the same.

Anyone know how I sort this problem out?I need my emails for work, so it's not very good! On a separate issue, when I use blackberry messenger, often I can not read what I am typing. I just is blank, but i can carry on typing and when I send whatever I have typed appears. This is a problem pretty much since I have had the phone, so I do not think is related with the more important problem mentioned earlier.I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and am with Vodafone.
