When i click on my email, it opens up but i can't click on anything in the application. My button isn't broke, it works fine with al other things. And the Blackberry button also doesn't work while in my email. I can only go back to my menu...

I've tried removing the battery and this doesnt work, there is no water damage, when the phone just turns on I could move with the trackpad but I cannot click Ok on the message. None of the buttons work.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I have a media card and I have some pictures stored on the device and a majority of them stored on my sd card. When I click on media and then pictures the folder is completely empty and there is nothing there. If I highlight pictures and click explore and then find my pictures it shows that they are on the sd card and it shows that some are stored to the device memory. I can't open the files because the names have been changed to a .al format. Also my pictures folders even when I click explore, are hidden. I try to uncheck the box that says hide so they will no longer be hidden but it doesn't let me. Howw can I get all my pictures back to normal so I can see them when I click on media and pictures?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am getting a replacement 8530 for my current 8530 because my trackpad is off centered and recently I am now able to move it around. I called verizon explained everything and their answer "software problem, we're sending you a new one under your warranty" Whatever, its physical not software, but they are sending me out a replacement anyways so I dont care.
However, how do I put stuff on the new one? I use blackberry desktop manager, and click "Backup" and it backs up. When I connect the new one do I just click "Restore"? Also when I back up, the tab for contacts is grayed out and I CANNOT click it. So I wont be able to restore that, why?

I keep receiving a message from donotreply@blackberry.com informing me that my emails are not being delivered to my device.It goes on to tell me to turn on the IMAP setting for all mail on my email account and validate my account.Having checked, my IMAP settings are correct so I re-validated my Bkackberry and, for all intents & purposes the email account is now valid. However, I then shortly receive another message exactly the same from [URL]..I have gone round this cycle 3-4 times now but am still not receiving emails

She is receiving emails on her ISP web mail and on her Outlook 2003 client on her laptop. All her setting remain the same as before and are the same aas mine (except for the email address)

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt's been happening since this today, when I receive a SMS or email the phone rings/vibrates and everything, then when I go to to the SMS&MMS or email icon nothing new is there. Earlier this morning everything was fine, I was sending/receiving texts without any problem. Then I connected my bb to my computer and opened desktop manager, received a SMS while it was plugged in, I tried reading it and saw nothing. That's exactly when I started having this issue. The only unusual thing was that I was running warcraft 3 at the same time but that has nothing to do with the bb. I already tried turning off the phone then turning it back on, did a battery pull using quickpull, did a battery pull physically and it's still the same.

Anyone know how I sort this problem out?I need my emails for work, so it's not very good! On a separate issue, when I use blackberry messenger, often I can not read what I am typing. I just is blank, but i can carry on typing and when I send whatever I have typed appears. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had a Curve for over a Year and a half and ever since I got it I have had it set up to my work email through my exchange server with no problems. I upgraded to the new curve in Feb and I had the Sprint store set everything up. Starting yesterday I will receive emails on my blackberry but they will never show up in my inbox in Outlook. Its kinda of a big problem. I have checked and my outlook is not running in cached mode. I have tried sending service books and check the options on the phone and in outlook and I have no clue whats going on.

On my old Rant I received the emails instantly. Is there a 3rd party email that is available. And OH I almsot forgot Im taking my precious time and the added pain to write this post to get a resolution instead of a diplomatic happy go lucky and irresponsible answer saying that "We are very sorry that feature is yet not available" or "We are sorry to hear that we will do that in near future", I've heard lot of Sorry's and Apologies over this issue, so please don't feel sorry about that if your not really sorry!My problems described step by step:
A) Whenever I receive an email on my Hotmail which is successfully configured on my BB, if there is a filter to sort it into a predefined FOLDER, then BB fails to retrieve that email?
B) Its logical to sort your emails into folders if your getting tons of email and your business relies on that medium of communication?
C) This is a GLOBAL issue faced by every BB user? Oh Yes I already did some research on the BB Support Forums and everywhere else.
D) Since my Blackberry model is 8520 aka. SmartPhone which is an understatement? SmartPhone I mean come on ? Its a Dumb Phone that cant detect Email Folders!
C) I don't want to pile up my other emails by using a solution which youre about to say -> Forward your email to another email address Inbox! Or asking me to upgrade my Hotmail?
D) Gmail works perfectly under this scenario, ie. I also use Gmail thanks to my conscience I can successfully receive all emails even if they are sorted or filtered into Folders!
E) Should we urge to ask Uncle Billy to modify Hotmail so that this work on everyones BB? Sure that would be fun but I think he's too busy!
So, the Answer I can predict with my super powers is -> Either NONE you wont respond at all! or this post might get deleted because of the nature of this issue being over reacted upon or you will say "Sorry we are working on that since our Programmers, Technicians and Engineers goofed up big time, but hopefully we will be able to fix it in the next BB so you should throw this one as soon as a new one arrives and make another Dumb purchase of a Dumb Phone !

Someone from sprint performed a hard reset and could not tell me how to restore my contacts. My fiancé helped me restored my contacts. I can get email, select reply but there is no send option available to send email. It worked a few days ago, but it is not working now. I can send email from my contacts, but not reply to an email I already received. Even when I try to download a document it says, “More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found”. I even tried the service book option I learned on crackberry along with turning it off and on, removing the battery, and deleting my email accounts and adding them again.

People send me emails and ask what will this or that cost. when I'm in the field I don't want to clack away a long response so I created three or four paragraphs telling about my services and send them in emails to my phone. right now they are residing in my messages folder on my desk top. I created a blank folder next to it called email messages. I want to put my info blurbs in there but don't know how to do it. then, when a prospect sends my bb a message saying how much do you charge, I can shoot them a paragraph about me and try to hook em.

I have an annoyance I wish to get fixed. When I am sending an email through the browser, not the blackberry's integrated email function, after the message is sent, the recipient recieves 10-20 messages. I sent an email to my work boss and he recieved 110 copies of the exact same email. YES, I only hit send once. This occurs with outlook express online, using two different email accounts from two different websites.
I tested this out again just now, and sure enough, I got 12 copies of my test email to my personal account. My phone was telling me I have all 5 connectivity bars when I sent the message.If I were to guess, this would be a connectivity issue or maybe something involving my wireless carrier, but I figured here would be a good place to start

I have searched around and found many problems faced regarding the email icon showing unread emails but in actual fact there are none. My problem however is the opposite of that - there are unread emails but it is not indicating as such.
This is specifically for Gmail as all my other email accounts are showing unread emails just fine. It is a minor issue but it does get on my nerves trying to figure this out.
Recent activities include upgrading OS to OS5 and changing telco, doubt if these are the cause of it. I have tried deleting and creating the email account and battery pull to no avail.
My boss would like to forward his work emails to his personal email account.Is this something he can do on his own?Can someone provide setup instructions?
